Suddenly both of Rose's eyes opened. He looked at me and tried to get out of my arms.

No. gabe. I'm not gonna let you go.

I shook my head while trying to say that I didn't want to let go.

Then he did something I didn't expect.

He slapped my cheek very hard.

I was only silent for a moment trying to digest the event that had just happened.

What the hell?!!

Revon flinched and woke up from his sleep. His entire body stiffened and his heart skipped a beat. His fingers touched his right cheek, the pain from the slap felt real.

But how did that happen? Rose remained silent in bed with him.

Yes, he had fallen asleep while lying on the bed and looking at Rose's face. Hugging the woman's cold body hoping to provide a little warmth.

Gently caressing her cheeks that increasingly look tapered. His hands were getting down towards the woman's lips. Lips that previously looked reddish pink now look pale.

The man cried in silence until he fell asleep while hugging Rose.

This morning, Erica was planning to go to the residence of her relatives who were somewhere secluded in a village. It was a distance from Revon's house to it far away, but he still had to do it.

After getting ready, Erica came out of the room and was surprised to see Robert coming with his sister. A sense of pleasure filled his feelings, the instant he hugged his younger brother tightly.

"Sister. Don't be like this I'm ashamed." Said sister.

"Just silent, Aston. Give me a little time to hug you like this." Erica answered the 18-year-old.

Erica frowned, realizing that Robert was still there and seeing the drama of these brothers.

"Don't mind me. Let's just say I didn't see." Robert smiled as he shrugged both shoulders.

Slowly Erica let go of her embrace to Aston. He glanced at Robert who was still looking at him.

"Ah, I forgot. Thank you so much for bringing my sister here." Erica.

"I didn't drive him here. Dean drove him to the front of the house." Robert said by raising both eyebrows.

"Thank you anyway. Oh yeah, which room is he in?" Ask Erica.

"Just right next to your room. Come with me, Aston." Robert opened the door of the room.

After dropping off Aston, Erica and Robert had a one-on-one conversation in the living room. The woman explained that she wanted to go to the village where her relatives lived to find out the ritual book.

"Who are you going with?" Robert asked with one eyebrow.

"I'll go alone." Erica.

"No. You can't go alone." Robert furrowed his brows in disagreement.

"I can go by myself anyway.." Said Erica who suddenly cut Robert.

"I'll accompany you. You want to leave now? I'll grab a few things for a second."

"Hey! No need I'll go alone..."

"Std.. I don't accept rejection. Wait here !"

Then Robert ran quickly and disappeared into the house.
