"I wouldn't do it if I were you. Don't let my patience run out, I could have thrown you off this 2nd floor." Revon said with a hardened jaw.
"Oh, I'm so scared." Alex said with a smile.
"I won't get you to Rose before you do my wish."
"Say! Where's she?!" Alex said with annoyance.
Revon easily took off the grip of Alex's hand that was on the collar of his shirt. Then he moved away enough to give the distance between the two.
"Get out of my house. I'm tired of your scent."
Alex justifies the jacket he is wearing and turns ready to come out.
Braak!
Again he closed the door very hard. This time harder but not to make the door become damaged or destroyed.
"He really ruined my mood. Goddamnit!" Revon said with emotion.
Grabbing the wine bottle on the table, he thoughtlessly threw the wine bottle firmly towards the door. Instantly the broken bottles scattered on the floor as well as the red wine liquid.
•••
The day changed night. The moonlight illuminated the darkness of the night and the specks of rain began to fall soaking nature.
After getting carried away from her sleep this afternoon, Rose found Revon sitting on the sofa drinking wine while reading some sheets of paper scattered on the table.
As she approached the man, Rose saw the contents of the writing were the names of places that looked creepy.
The curious Rose also let out a question that was on her mind.
"What is this place?" Rose asked with a look still fixed on the paper.
It was realized that Rose was observing the papers. At once Revon tidied up the paper and stored it in the folder.
"How are you feeling? Is anyone still sick?" Revon said softly.
Rose also furrowed her eyebrows disliking.
"I'm already okay. Where's paper! I haven't finished reading it, Revon." Said Rose who tried to take the map from Revon's hand.
Of course Revon shrewdly kept the map out of Rose's reach. This made Rose even more upset and impatient. But Revon was also upset about something. It's not just Rose who's upset.
"Revon? Try calling me one more time?" Revon said with one eyebrow raised.
"Give me that paper." Said Rose.
The more Rose asked for the paper, the more Revon kept it away. To make things easier, Rose approached Revon's side of the body and again grabbed the map.
"Bae, you don't have to think about anything. I'll take care of everything until Robert and Erica are found." Revon said firmly.
"So, are you really looking for a place where Robert and Erica are? I want to read those papers, maybe I remember something that could be a clue we find Robert and Erica."
"No. You need to rest until you are fully recovered. I don't want to involve you in anything dangerous."
"Revon... I wasn't..." Rose's words were suddenly cut by Revon.
"Why do you keep calling my name? Is there no other call?" Revon said, looking at Rose annoyed.
"You mean?"
Revon closed his eyes and smiled faintly. The man pulled Rose's waist down to make her sit on his lap.
"Too long asleep seems like you're starting to forget me? Forgetting how close our relationship is?" Revon said as he opened his eyes and stared intently at the woman before him.
"It's Revon, there's more to it than this discussion." Rose said in a cold tone.
Unknowingly Rose's words made Revon's feelings ignite. His eyes turned pitch-black.
"So you don't think our relationship is important?" Revon said with a flat expression.
Rose who had just noticed the change in Revon's aura made him speechless and shrieked. The man continued to look at Rose waiting for an answer. After gathering courage Rose finally let out a voice.
"No. No. that's not.." Said Rose stammeringly.
"Say it clearly!" Revon said in a rather high voice.
The terrifying aura and pitch-black eyeballs made Rose speechless. His voice went missing somewhere.
For a few seconds Rose just stared at Revon, then next her gaze was diverted to the window of the room showing the change of time from afternoon to night.
With a bit of roughness Revon grabbed the woman's chin to look back at her. The radiance of fear visible from Rose's eyes made Revon exhale violently.
"Are you afraid of me?" Revon said in a flat tone.
Rose looked into the man's eyes as if pulling him in. He swallowed his saliva with great difficulty.
"What are you afraid of from me? I never even hit you." Revon said in frustration.
"Pink black.. The darkness.. The color of your eyeballs makes me seem drawn back into the darkness." Rose said softly.
Hearing that Revon was speechless, his lips formed a thin line. Immediately she lowered Rose's body from her lap and walked out of the room without turning her head.
The tightness that filled her chest cavity made Rose take a deep breath. He sat on the sofa hugging his knees.
"What have I said? No. gabe. I can't possibly say it, right?" Mumbled Rose.
The sound of rain meets the sense of hearing. The longer the rain is getting heavier. The rain will last a long time tonight.
