PART 18 - LILI BRINGS GOOD LUCK?

After reading the file, Lili saw Leo and Leo raise both hands.

"Hows it? Have you read everything?" ask Leo.

"Yes" said Lili.

Mr. Bryan also seemed to be smiling. He didn't seem to be sure Lili could understand everything that was recorded in the file.

"So, what do you think, Madam? Isn't that an interesting partnership?" said Mr. Bryyan.

"Yes, you're right. But sorry, I need to go to the toilet for a while" said Lili and got up from her seat. He left the table with his cell phone.

Mr. Bryan also felt strange with Lili's attitude. She watched Lili who was getting away from her desk.

"You know, Mr. Bryyan. Women always do, they always need a toilet wherever they are" Leo said, smiling.

Mr. Bryan looked at Leo and smiled.

"It doesn't matter, my wife did too" said Mr. Bryan then looked at the woman sitting next to him. It seems like she's his wife, I don't know.

After a few minutes, Lili returned to the restaurant and sat back in her chair.

"Alright, we continue the discussion earlier," said Mr. Bryyan.

Lili also cleared her throat.

"To be honest, I'd still like to check a few more things in the file you provided, Mr. Bryan," said Lili, smiling.

"Oh yes, Madam. Of course," said Mr. Bryyan.

Leo looked at Lili and did not show any reaction on her face. His face looks flat.

"Then Leo will contact you" said Lili.

"Yes, I hope soon I will get some good news from Mr. Leos. This is a good opportunity to start cooperation, it will benefit us" said Mr. Bryan smiled and sounded enthusiastic.

Lili just smiled. He sees Leo and Leo sees Mr. Bryyan.

"Then, Mr. Leos. I'm so happy to see you tonight" said Mr. Bryan and got up from his chair. Leo got up from his chair and shook Mr. Bryyan.

"See you later" said Mr. Bryan and leave the table.

Now, there's only Leo and Lili at the table. Lili made sure Mr. Bryan came out of the restaurant and saw Leo.

"I'm going back to the room" said Lili, but Leo held Lili's hand before she could get out of her chair. Leo then smiled making Lili look at Leo suspiciously.

"Since the beginning you've known, isn't there something strange about the file?" lili.

"I don't know anything, that's why I wanted to ask you. Why do you look so hesitant after reading that file?" ask Leo.

Lili sighed and showed Leo her phone. Leo frowned looking at what was on Lili's phone screen.

"The company has not been registered and does not have a license from the state government of Mr. Bryan, the company is an illegal company" Lili said.

Yes, when Lili went to the toilet earlier Lili checked the company's permission, she recalled the company's licensing number recorded in the file she read and she was sure she had not mischecked it.

Leo was silent at Lili's words. He smiled inwardly because it was not in vain to bring Lili with him. Actually, if only the person he always relied on in helping his work could be present with him to see Mr. Bryan, he's not gonna take Lili.

Leo's feeling lucky tonight. He did not expect Lili was also able to check licensing for foreign companies while Leo alone could not access it unless Leo paid someone to do the job. It will be easy to access something related to a foreign country. Of course only people who are experts in their field can do it.

Leo then smiled.

"You used me, didn't you?" lili.

"Why say that? I'm your husband, we should've helped each other, there's nothing wrong with that, right?" leo said, then smiled wider.

Lili rolled her eyeballs and got up from her seat.

"Where are you going? We haven't even started our date yet" Leo said, leaving Lili speechless. Lili sees Leo calling the waiter and Leo asking the waiter for a bottle of wine. Leo also asked the waiter to bring his ordered wine to the outdoor area, the pool area.

"I'm breastfeeding, are you going to take me for a drink?" lili said in shock.

"Of course I'm not that crazy, but can you sit with me for a minute? Do you remember the last time we spent time together?" said Leo.

Lili was silent thinking about Leo's question. Right, he can't remember the last time he enjoyed a warm moment with Leo. Should he stay with Leo soon? Think Lili.

Leo got up from his seat and looked at Lili expectantly.

Lili turned around and walked towards the pool.

'He is like a child who asks for the company of his mother, can only be in the room!' inner Lili in the middle of her steps.

Meanwhile, Leo smiled and walked up to Lili. They sat at one of the tables in the outdoor area.

Before long the waiter came to bring him a bottle of wine ordered by Leo and there was a glass of juice also on the tray. After the servant left, Leo poured the wine into his glass and raised the glass before Lili. Lili lazily raised her glass of juice and toasted to Leo.

Lily did not enjoy the atmosphere there.

"Lili, can I ask you a question?" ask Leo.

Lili just kept quiet, I don't know what else Leo would say. He just wants to go back to the room. He refused to see Leo.

"Do you still love me?" leo asked, when Lili saw Leo.

"Why, I sometimes think marriage is boring" Leo said.

"Then ask your heart, do you love me?" ask Lili.

This time it was Leo who was silent.

Lili then got up from her chair and intended to step foot. However, he returns to see Leo before leaving the table.

"Never discuss feelings with me, if you just don't have feelings as a human being" Lili said, leaving the table.

Leo was silent, and he smiled and sipped his wine. Suddenly his face looks angry. He finished the wine and got out of his chair. He quickly left the restaurant.

As soon as he reached the room, he saw Lili who had just come out of the bathroom. Lily was seen wearing a bathrobe.

"I don't have a change of clothes, do you prepare clothes for me? There's no way I'm sleeping like this" Lili said as she looked at the bathrobe that covered her body.

Lili was surprised when Leo grabbed her hand.

"Can I touch you now?" ask Leo.

Lili was silent to Leo's question. His heart even beat fast as it suddenly heard Leo ask like that.
