CHAPTER 34 - HURRYING HOME

Leo opened a black envelope decorated with a ribbon that Florence had just given him. He then fell silent when he saw the contents in it which turned out to be an invitation.

"What is this for?" leo asked confusedly. When viewed from the outside, the invitation does not seem to be a wedding invitation.

"That's an invitation to the inauguration of my new office, I hope you can attend at the wedding later" said Florence.

"Oh yeah." Leo opened the invitation and saw the date of the invitation that turned out to be held a few days ahead, precisely on Saturday afternoon.

"I thought he was working outside" Florence said.

"No, I forbid him to work. Let him be at home, I can still support him" Leo said, then chuckled.

"Yes, a good husband should leave his wife at home. It should not be necessary to work, especially those who already have a partner, it would be better to take care of the couple," said Florence.

"Yes, independent women are also good, like you," said Leo.

Florence was silent to Leo's words. But after that, he smiled. He seemed happy to hear what Leo had just said.

"All right, then what if we had dinner first? I will treat you" said Florence.

"When else can I eat for free, right?" leo said, then Florence chuckled.

Florence calls a waitress who is not far from her desk, she and Leo finally order dinner and they even enjoy dinner together.

After dinner, Leo went to the toilet and he activated his phone there. Leo had disabled his phone when he left the office for the purpose of meeting Florence. He thought it was better because he was worried that Lili would contact him when he met Florence.

'There must have been an unanswered call from him, ' Leo's mind remembered Lili.

Yes, he already knew his wife would always contact him when he was late coming home from work.
