PART 66 - SNEAKY LILIES?

Florence looked at Leo, Leo's gaze suddenly changed and looked displeased. Seeing that makes him a little anxious, lest Leo doesn't believe him? thought.

"Florence, first I don't understand everything you're saying. Second, I remember when I met you and you said that you never said anything to Lili, but the truth is today you admitted to it yourself that you did say you wanted to snatch me from Lili, what exactly do you want, ha?" said Leo.

"Oh my goodness, Leo. I didn't want anything, I told you back then I was just too upset with Lili, so I was talking nonsense. I really had no such intention, now that I'm speaking honestly to you, Lili really wants to destroy you" Florence said.

"really so? But I know who Lili is, though, if he wants to destroy me of course he has many ways to do it and there's no need to ask for your help which is obvious Lili doesn't like you very much because we've had relationships in the past," said Leo.

Isn't what Leo said true? If Lili wanted to destroy him, Lili would not have to bother looking for his mistake while Lili already held many of his mistakes that could be used to destroy him. Florence's words made no sense to Leo, let alone knowing that Lili was very distasteful to Florence. Lili even got angry and wanted to sue him when she found out he was meeting with Florence again so there was no way Lili would meet Florence.

While Florence rubbed her face, Leo completely distrusted her leaving her no longer knowing how to convince Leo that she was not lying at all.

"Leo, how do you trust me? I'm really not lying" said Florence, looking desperate as she sat on the sofa. He covered his face again, and thought of a way for Leo to truly believe him.

"Alright, just assume what you say is true. But, I will tell you from now on. I'm not interested in going back to my past, I'm married and obviously I have a family, so I'm going to stay with my family" Leo said.

Florence was silent to Leo's words, and she looked up to see Leo looking at her.

"Florence, I'm sure the return we met was completely accidental and I trust you. Therefore, I don't want to find trouble with you right now. You asked me to be your friend, right? Now let me just say, we'll never be friends" Leo said.

"Why, Leo? I don't want to do anything to you at all, but why do you seem to be afraid of me?" florence.

"I'm not afraid of you, but if I do, I will hurt Lili and will destroy her feelings. I really don't want to go back to my past that I closed after I married Lili, I'm sorry if our return to meet made you misunderstand" Leo said.

Florence clenched her hands.

"You better get out of here" said Leo, leaving Florence. However, he came back to see Florence when Florence called him.

"It doesn't matter if you don't want to go back to your past, but trust me, Leo. Lili is really a cunning woman!" furious Florence.

"Why are you so pushy?" someone said, as Florence and Leo looked at the man.

They were shocked when they saw that person who turned out to be Lili.

Yeah, Lili's at the entrance of the house right now. Even he had been near the door and heard what Leo and Florence had said.

Lili then began to approach towards Leo and Florence.

"Thank God you came now, you better tell Leo the truth about your purpose in meeting me today" Florence said.

"Whatchu mean? Why should I go see someone who wants to ruin my marriage?" lili.

Florence was stunned to hear Lili speak like that.

"I don't even want to see your face, so how could I possibly be able to talk to you?" lili.

Florence clenched her hands. He was really surprised by Lili's words. I don't know what's really going on right now? Why does Lili deny reality? Thought surprised.

"Florence, you told Leo yourself that you wanted to destroy his marriage with me, then do you think I would really give you a chance to destroy it? What if the position is reversed and you're the one in my position? Are you going to keep quiet? No, right?" lili.

Florence clenched her hands tighter and tighter. He suddenly realized that Lili was playing a trick on him. He then approached Lili and raised his hand to slap into Lili's face. However, Lili quickly held Florence's hand so that Florence could not slap her.

"I don't know how you finally got back to Leo, but you heard what Leo said, right? He's not interested in coming back to you, so just accept the fact that you'll never achieve your goal of destroying our marriage. Besides, as long as I'm around, I won't let you destroy it and regardless of how fate got me to marry Leo, regardless of who Leo was to you in the past, I hope you understand and no longer have any bad intentions!" lili firmly, then let go of Florence's hand.

"You're really sneaky, Lili!" furious Florence.

"I'm sneaky? Then what about you? You know Leo's my husband but you lured him to come with you to your office inauguration so I'd finally see you guys together? Isn't that so outrageous? You even held me back when I wanted to resign from your company, what exactly was your goal? Don't you want to step on my pride? I certainly won't be quiet, I've been kind enough to do what's right, but you forced me to do all this!" lili.

"Lilly!" Florence shouted in front of Lili, she looked extremely angry now.

"I swear I will repay you" said Florence.

"Please get out of here, Florence!" leo said with great emphasis.

Florence clenched her hand, and she approached Leo.

"I hate you so much, Leo. Even since long ago until now I really hated you so much, why did you hurt me for the second time, ha? Why are you so outrageous?" fuming Florence and pushing Leo's body.

"I never even knew we'd see each other again, and I swear I had absolutely no intention of getting you back to me. I'm talking to you just because I'm amazed and relieved that your life is finally getting better so I won't feel guilty for everything that happened to you in the past" Leo said.

Florence slaps Leo in the face, leaving Leo shocked and staring at Florence sharply.

"So stupid, why did you slap me?" furious Leo.

"You deserve it and for you, Lili!"

Florence turned to look at Lili, she then pointed at Lili's face.

"I really didn't expect that behind your mistress' face was stored an incredible cunning. Remember you and I are both women, and you will be played the same way you played me today!" furious Florence.

"Nobody is being played here, instead you should thank me because I have made you understand everything so you don't have to work hard to destroy my marriage with Leo" said Lili.

Florence smiled cynically, she was about to say something. However, Lili is getting closer to Florence.

"All this should make you realize that you have absolutely no chance of ruining my marriage, so stop doing anything because it will only end in vain. You better get on with your life" said Lili.

"Florence!" Leo snapped at Florence when he saw Florence slapping Lili. However, Florence ignores Leo and rushes away from the room.

Leo then approached Lili.

"Are you okay?" leo asked as he touched Lili's face. However, Lili hurriedly avoided Leo. After that he looked at Leo with reddened eyes. He looked like he was going to cry, maybe Florence's slap was so painful?

"Are you satisfied now? Is everything that happened just now able to make you really realize that no matter how small the fire you try to light anywhere can burn the surrounding, can even destroy everything around it to ashes?"

Leo was silent at Lili's words.

"Let me tell you, everything Florence said just now is true. I did tell her all that so she could come to you today!" lili said with great emphasis.

Leo was surprised to hear Lili's words.

"Leo, I know I won't be able to prevent anyone from coming into your life, but you should understand that women are not like men. If you think you are not giving any hope to every woman present in your life, then remember women are not men who can easily play around. Women always rely on their feelings, because that even if you consider your actions or speech that comes out of your lips as just a normal thing, women can see it differently" said Lili.

Leo was silent again.

"And about Florence, you might be able to say that you didn't give her any hope, but you didn't realize that by continuing to see her you were creating hope to be back with you?" lili.

Leo went back to silence, not knowing what he was thinking after hearing all Lili's words.

"I've said too much, it's too much if you don't understand what I mean. I better leave now, after all there is no interesting spectacle here," said Lili and turned around. He went to the door.

"I see what you mean!" leo said, Lili fell silent.

Soon Leo arrived in front of Lili and Leo suddenly pushed the door until it was closed. After that Leo hugged Lili.

"Please don't go again" said Leo. Lili was silent.
