PART 35 - LEO'S STATE OF CONCERN?

Arriving at the house Leo rushed into the house and as soon as he reached the living room he met one of the household assistants. He then asked Lili to the housekeeper.

"The lady seems to be in the room" said the assistant.

Leo nodded and intended to leave the housekeeper. However, he stopped his steps when he remembered something. He called the house assistant again.

"Did the lady look like she was leaving?" ask Leo.

"Oh yes, this afternoon madam and Miss Maisy prepared. Shouldn't the Madam have gone with the Master? But you didn't get home either" said the assistant.

"So, then what did the madam say to you?" ask Leo.

"No sir, it looks like Madam is still waiting for you in the room" the assistant said.

"Yes, I'll see the Madam first" said Leo and rushed to the room.

Once in the room, Leo is silent when he sees Lili laying Maisy in the baby box. Lili is seen still wearing the dress she previously wore to go to the house of the in-laws. However, he seemed reluctant to look at Leo. He was actually aware of Leo's presence. Clearly his ears were functioning well and he heard when the door of his room was opened.

Leo slowly entered the room and approached the baby box.

"I'm sorry I'm late to get back home" Leo said.

Lilies were silent, just staring at Leo. After that he turned around and intended to leave Leo.

"I had a sudden job this afternoon, so I forgot that tonight I had an appointment for Papi to take you and Maisy to Papi's house" Leo said.

Lili was silent for a moment, she then smiled a little. Then he turned to look at Leo.

"I know" said Lili.

Now Leo was the one who was silent, he felt strange with Lili's expression that looked flat when usually Lili always asked him a lot of things. However, it seemed that this time Lili was not that interested in talking to him.

"You better call Papi and tell Papi that we're not going to Papi's house. You saw that, right? Maisy's asleep, we can't leave Maisy alone" said Lili, again intending to leave Leo.

"What if we leave Maisy at home?" leo and Lili were silent again.

"No" said Lili, staring at Leo unhappily.

"Why? We can go for a while just to fulfill Papi's invitation, after all Papi says there's something Papi wants to talk to me about" said Leo.

"Then you go to your parents' house" said Lili.

"Lili come on .." said Leo sounding clear.

"Didn't your dad want to talk to you? You can go and talk to your Papa, I don't mind even if I don't come with you. Maybe your papa wants to talk to you about something important" said Lili.

"I'm taking you to my parents' house, not to do anything silly out there, Lili. Can't you appreciate my parents' invitation? What a hard thing to leave Maisy for a while at home," said Leo.

"What about me that's been preparing since this afternoon, Leo?" lili.

Lili tries to hold herself back since Leo came, she holds back from arguing with Leo. But just look. Leo provoked his anger. Clearly, Lili did not accept the words of Leo.

"Maisy and I have been waiting for you since last afternoon, but you are hard to contact even just coming home now. Not only do you make me and your son wait without news, but you even make your son wait for you until your son falls asleep. Do you think I'll wake your son up now? Of course not, let my son rest in peace!" pissed Lili.

'Okay, Papi understands. Let Papi's grandson rest well. Your fault also makes your son wait for you to fall asleep, said the papi.

'I'll work, Pi. I'm not doing anything that's not out there. Besides I just forget a little bit, anyway when I immediately remember I went straight back home, ' said Leo tried to defend himself.

'Yes, we set the time again later. You better take a break too, ' said the papi and the phone ended.

Leo heaved a sigh of relief, after which he returned to the room and saw that there was no Lilies in the room. He then went to the dressing room and saw Lili standing in front of the makeup mirror. Lili looked as if she was removing her makeup.

"I told Papi that we're not going to Papi's house" Leo said.

Lili didn't say anything, she chose to ignore Leo by going to the bathroom. However, before she enters the bathroom she is held captive by Leo.

"Don't be angry, I didn't mean to keep you waiting. I completely forgot, if only I remembered, I would have come home in time" Leo said.

Lili sighed and let go of Leo's hand that held her hand.

"Why should I be angry? Didn't you tell me why you came home late? I feel lucky" said Lili.

Leo frowned. He was confused by what Lili said.

"I don't have to ask you to give me a reason why you came home late, you took the initiative to explain it to me and I'll assume what you said is true. And let's just say I trust you too" said Lili, then smiled.

Leo will say something. However, he undoes his intentions when suddenly Lili touches his shoulder.

"But my advice, try to go to the doctor to check on you. Honestly, I'm starting to worry about you" said Lili, looking worried.

Leo held his breath. Suddenly his feelings started to feel bad.

"It seems like your disease is becoming more and more, I'm afraid you'll completely forget me and Maisy, because that's when you go to the Doctor!" lili said then smiled. However, there was an emphasis in Lili's tone just now.

Leo exhaled slightly heavily and noticed Lili who started to enter the bathroom.

"Geez!" Leo's body jerks when suddenly the bathroom door is closed so hard that it causes a loud impact sound as well.

'I'm starting to understand why he asked me to see a doctor. Not to check on my forgetful state, but he wanted me to get treatment for a heart attack. He almost made my heart fall out of position!' gerutu Leo stroked his chest.

A second later he was again made surprised when the bathroom door suddenly opened again and appeared Lili's face filled with foam.

"Honey, please bring a new odor," said Lili.

Leo clenched his hand because again Lili closed the door so hard that she was again shocked.

"Dear, baby. You can kill me, Lili!" leo got upset while hitting the bathroom door. However, there was no response from Lili.

"Truly, he sucks a lot. Just be careful if the bathroom door gets damaged, I'll have him fix the door himself!" pissed Leo.
