PART 41 - LEO'S SUSPICIONS

"It's time to go home from work, of course I'll go home" said Leo.

"Yes, I know that. But I think there will be an event outside that will make you come home late" said Lili.

Leo sighed, then approached Lili.

"I saw the dinner table empty, was there no dinner?" said Leo.

"Oh, my goodness ... I asked Ani not to cook dinner" said Lili.

"Why?" leo asked confusedly.

"Because I think only I will eat at home" said Lili.

"Whatchu mean? Then what about me? Don't you think I live in this house?" leo said astonished.

"Don't I, didn't I tell you? I think you're going home late, so why cook dinner when you come home late you're always eating out" said Lili.

"Oh come on ..." Leo rolled his eyeballs. He was so reminded of the incident last afternoon, what exactly possessed Lili that Lili acted so much different from usual? He was still thinking, who exactly was Lili's friend? Lili's friend may have caused Lili's attitude to change, she thought.

"Oh yes, please accompany Maisy first" said Lili and would leave Leo out of the room.

"Where are you going?" ask Leo.

"I'll make dinner for you" said Lili.

"No need, waiting for you to cook the worms in my stomach will protest because waiting for you will definitely be long" said Leo.

"So?" lili said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"I'll order a meal from the outside" Leo said and went to the dressing room.

Lili was silent, her face looked displeased. Not because Leo refused to be made dinner by him, but when he asked Leo to wait for Maisy Leo did not see Maisy at all. Though a few days ago Lili had been grateful to see the closeness of Leo with Maisy. Unfortunately he doesn't understand why Leo is back to being indifferent to Maisy.

Lili approaches Maisy and holds Maisy.

"It's a good thing you don't understand what your Papa is doing, I hope you don't feel the pain of being ignored like that by your Papa and remember this, no matter how bad your Papi is, she's still your Papi. So Mami hopes you will always respect her" said Lili.

Maisy should not have understood what Lili said, but after hearing Lili's words, Maisy smiled as she touched Lili's cheek as if Maisy understood what Lili was saying and tried to make Lili not worry too much.

Lilies smiled getting that soft touch from Maisy's little hand.

"Alright, drink some milk first. After that we go to sleep" said Lili, then took Maisy out of the room. He finds Maisy's nanny and asks Maisy's nanny to make him some milk. Then he went back to the room and waited.

Once the milk is ready, Lili puts Maisy to bed in her baby box and Maisy starts drinking milk through her pacifier.

Meanwhile in the dressing room, Leo who was just about to enter the bathroom heard the incoming call ringing from his phone. He took his phone and saw Hans calling him.

'What did this kid call me?' inner Leo is confused. Is it possible that his friend will invite him to hang out? Her thought.

'Yes, hello, ' said Leo, answering Hans' call.

'Leo, is Lili okay?' ask Hans.

Leo frowned, confused because his friend asked his wife.

'What do you mean? What happened to Lili?' ask Leo.

'I thought they were really happy to talk about something unimportant, ' said Leo.

'Are you not seeing him yet? Aren't you still in that group?' ask Hans.

'I haven't seen him, I don't have time for that, ' said Leo.

Yes, Leo very rarely open alumni groups. The reason in the group was only talking about something unclear so he was lazy to see the group. Even if he opened it he just deleted the chat-chat in it. He is not interested in chatting with his school alumni friends first.

'Yes, I just saw it, I've been busy all day, ' Hans said.

'I was busy too, after all I was too lazy to see the group, ' said Leo.

'Yes, so is Lili okay?' ask Hans.

'Of course, I took him out of the group, ' said Leo.

'Why?' ask Hans.

'Didn't you open the group? Why don't you just look at all the messages in it?' said Leo.

Hans was silent for a moment.

'There's no way you're jealous of the guy who says Lili's getting pretty, right?' said Hans.

'Be jealous? Just be right. I'm not jealous, I'm just saving my marriage, ' said Leo.

'Gosh, why do you think like that?' ask Hans.

Leo breathed a heavy breath.

'Actually you want to know Lili's situation or want to interrogate me?' said Leo.

'Why are you so sensitive? If you don't want to answer my question, yes, ' Hans said.

'Yes, I want to take a shower, ' said Leo and ended the call.

Leo rolled his eyeballs and opened his school alumni WhatsApp group. Sure enough he saw Lili being talked about by friends there. Leo, who thought he would silence his fellow alumni, immediately said nothing after seeing them, no one spoke negatively about Lili. They were just wondering, why did Lili quit the group without saying anything? Maybe they were surprised because Lili left the group without saying goodbye first.

Leo then deletes all the messages in it, after which he takes a shower. Leo did not know that in Lili's room had heard what Leo said. Lily was a little surprised.

'What exactly is on his mind? Isn't he overreacting? If he really wanted to save this marriage, he should be able to keep his attitude, instead of making such trivial reasons to keep this marriage. Totally insubstantial, ' Lili's mind is inexhaustible.

After taking a bath Leo had dinner, he had previously ordered the food himself and he had enjoyed it himself. She doesn't care about Lili accompanying Maisy to sleep, she thinks Lili doesn't care about her, so why should she offer Lili dinner?

After dinner, Leo went to his study. He saw a checkbook on his desk and a pen beside it. He picked up the checkbook and looked at it in confusion.

'Why is this outside?' muttered Leo.

Leo may often forget his words. However, he remembered where he had put his things. He also recalled previously putting the checkbook in his desk drawer and never putting it on such a table.

'Didn't I realize I'd put it here?' leo was confused.

Leo looked around him.

'Or maybe someone else entered my office? But who has been forced to enter without my permission?' muttered Leo.
