MYFATHER

MYFATHER
Episode 14

Siska's problem with her pregnancy was draining her energy, and that was the result of thinking about unimportant things. He lost the passion to serve these people with his fake looks, let alone that matched the lie he created himself, about his ailing father. The cloudy cloud seemed to understand the melancholy in Yudi's heart. Unfortunately, the heavy rain that followed a few hours later also failed to melt the concentrate in his mind. Upon arrival at the mess his shirt, pants, and shoes were soaked when he had to get off the vehicle heading to the terrace mess.

The young man entered the building, down the hallway to his room, and was struck by a figure standing in front of his room. She calls slowly, ”Myrna?”

Mirna turned her head while throwing a sweet smile, ”New home?”

At that time Yudi saw the clothes and hair of the girl was also soaked. ”Why are you here? You walk here until it's soaked like this?”

”Again damn. Good thing I brought congratulations,” the girl thrust a medium-sized square carton box.

”What is this?” Yudi received the box in astonishment, more confused to find the contents turned out to be a brown tart.

”Tart for you. My own making. You once told me that the cake I made for your birthday was eaten by rats when put in the refrigerator in this mess,” Mirna frowned in disgust as if imagined by the rats in front of him. ”I happen to be cooking again today and I brought it to your table. But because said friends there you go straight back to mess, I sucked this here.”

”Wah, thanks! You even bother so. I feel bad,” Yudi responded with disdain because at this time he is not having a taste for food, let alone getting such kindness from this girl. He felt guilty when he remembered Siska.

”And it turns out you are indeed evil huh. Are you in a hurry to go home tomorrow? I didn't believe it. Why don't you tell me that your dad is sick?”

Yudi looked at the girl awkwardly, he took the girl to get into his room because he did not want any nosy spies who would peek at the girl's presence in this place, ”Let's take a shower first. You can get sick if you keep wet so.”

”But I don't bring a change of clothes.”

”Let me guarantee mine first.”.

Mirna according to him. Fortunately, the rain melenakan the residents so that the bathroom in the building was empty. It also made the atmosphere relatively safe from naughty whistles. Ten minutes later the girl was dry, fresh, and wrapped in a muffled shirt. Yudi's body size was clearly larger than her. Yudi barely dared to look at Mirna because the shirt failed to hide the coziness of her body, even he seemed to be able to see through it to enjoy what was there. The girl rolled a towel over her head to absorb the water in her hair and sat with a little careless on the edge of the bed. He smiled, ”Still, yes. Now it's better, here..”.

Yudi looked at Mirna, ”Mir, sorry I was..”.

”Sorry why?”

”I didn't get to tell you about my dad.”

”Already. That’s no problem. I know you're thinking a lot.”

”You've eaten?” Yudi distracts. ”Sori, yes while nyambi. I want to pack my bags to Jakarta.”

”Not yet. You?”

”Not yet. Want to eat out I'm done with this one?”

”By aja, anyway. But if the rain does not subside how?”

”Wah, don't know. I was also confused,” said Yudi opened his closet awkwardly because Mirna could see the entire contents that looked like a ship breaking, not to mention when one of the clothes in a mess fell out. Yudi picked up the customary ignorant object blushing, ”Sori...cowok.”.

”You want me to help you finish?”

”Eh..ngak...don't. You see, if it is filled I am confused if I want to look for it again. Notar yes, I quickly run around kok.” dredged a few pieces of clothing originally and crammed into a backpack without mercy. Mirna giggled amusedly.

”Oh, yes..so when do you leave?”

”Thursday. Two o'clock in the afternoon.”

”Bet the bus first to Balikpapan? Or direct plane?”

”Ke Balikpapan first by road.”

”I can come with you?”

Yudi almost yelled ’by’ but he did not want Mirna to skip work because of her lies, ”Ngak need. Later if you are sought after by your boss how?”

”A day off is no problem. Just say I mules because I'm menstruating.”

”Thanks. But no,deh! I don't want to trouble.”

Mirna shrugged, ”Not at all, really! I want to.”

Yudi did not answer and put on a busy action to pack his clothes into a backpack. The girl looked at him in a way that more and more makes her feel rattled, ”You must be very close to your father until bete so.”

”I don't want to lose him,” Yudi again had to lie. She threw away her face, Mirna probably thought she was holding back tears, enduring the grief of her father's suffering.

”I believe that your father will be healed.”

”Still.” With superlight speed Yudi made his backpack bubble fat. As soon as he finished with the last item and closed his backpack that was helplessly rain outside still fluttered without pause. The young man said in a voice made cheerful. ”Gimana, here!  We can't get out dong.” yet

”Luckily I brought this. Eat this first, deh.” Mirna opened the cake box she was carrying, took out a tart and also a pair of paper plates, complete with a fork and a cutting knife. With a quick movement the girl sliced the cake and put a piece of cake in a sizeable size before handing it to Yudi. ”This is for you.”

”Tart chocolate for dinner?” Yudi smiled shakes.

”So you don't want?” Mirna asked with a sad face.

”Whose to say that?” said Yudi who could not bear to see the face. ”I'll taste your cake.”

”Hust..” Mirna nodded with a big smile as Yudi received the plate she was given.

At the first bite Yudi immediately knew Mirna a good cake maker. A thick chocolate flavor spoils his mouth, melting lumers to caress each inch of his tongue with a soft sweep, not to mention the sticky flares that seem reluctant to part on the ceiling of his mouth. Finding the taste is just a touch of the esophagus and stomach like shouting for a chance to taste the taste.

”You should open a cake shop, mir!”

”Yes!” Mirna raised her hand. ”So nyesel who was eaten by rats?”

”Those damn rats will be disappointed this time. I'll spend it all tonight,” Yudi laughed with a mouth full of cake. At that time he realized the view of Mirna that was so much that it made him clumsy. ”Why?My lips are chocolate fir?”

”Not. I'm glad to see someone eating my cake that way.”

”Then you should see the rats as they finish the first cake,” seduce Yudi. ”Darling I don't have his picture.”

”No need! I know these ugly animals do not have the art of eating good cakes,” said Mirna imbued with laughter Yudi.

”You're not taking?”

Mirna shook her head, this ”Kue is for you. So specifically you eat. He said you want to spend it alone, so it is not eaten with rats.”

”Do not. Come, take one..friend me eat this,” Yudi said while taking a piece of cake. ”Or need me a bribe?”

Mirna laughs and holds Yudi's hand that is ready to stuff the cake into her mouth, ”Neither need to! I'm not hungry.”

”Pake jaim again. Said he was hungry.”

”I want to eat rice.”

”Mir, I ate deh..” said Yudi. ”Rejecting request is not good, you know.”

Mirna looks worried for a moment, ”Oke, deh. But just a little, yeah. I don't want to be too full before a heavy meal.”

The girl took the cake from her hand and Yudi smiled at the way the girl was enjoying her homemade cake. They stare unintentionally and Yudi feels more and more guilty of finding that same light again. Mirna

wants love. Something she could not give because she had put her heart to someone else, who was carrying her child.

Yudi still wants to keep this friendship, there is something special between them but it can't be more than friends, and to keep it Mirna must know who she is. A man who was nothing more than a dirty person who was unworthy to play with the feelings of this beautiful, kind girl.

”Mir..”

”Mmmm?”

”Actually I didn't come home because of my father.”.

The girl was silent for a moment to hear it, ”So why do you want to go home?”

”I'm forced!” Yudi.

”Why? Is it because of Siska?” todong Mirna without ali-ali.

Yudi surprised,”Where did you know about Siska?”

”I know a lot about you even though you don't want a story.”

At that time, Yudi's guess was directly directed to Danu. *** that must have accidentally revealed everything about his life to this girl, ”Iya, this is indeed about Siska.”

”If a man dares to lie to a girl, of course it is because of an urgent matter. What's wrong with her? Is he in a lot of pain?”

”Promise you won't get angry if I tell you this?” Yudi asked worriedly. ”What I'm talking about is private. Danu just don't know the real problem.”

Mirna nodded and waited. Yudi tried to string the words together as best he could but everything was spoiled under Mirna's shady gaze, it felt like she didn't know how to start the story. He sighed without daring to look back at Mirna. Finally he just handed me a phone that contained photos of Siska, ”I crossed the line..”.

Mirna looked inside the phone without a single speck of emotion even though her eyes were clearly glazed. He hid the attitude of not accepting by returning the thing to Yudi, ”What is beyond the limit? You guys love each other?”

Now change the tongue of Yudi who is confused, ”But she was pregnant before we married.”

”Why confused? You're all grown up. You guys love each other. You also have a job as a living hanger. Why should I hesitate?”

Yudi could not answer. The strength it builds is ambrol. He sat down next to Mirna and sighed. Both of his palms were covering his face. Although there was no cry like in the crybaby soap operas, his head seemed to break because the defense wall he had built from earlier pressed very hard, making him have to lie down, ”One thing is blocking, ' he said, our trust is different..”

”Is that still a problem with this?” ask Mirna.

”That's it, I don't know if her parents would accept that I didn't follow her faith. I don't want to do it just because I was forced to.”

”You metropolitan people are complicated. For us, do what is obligatory of you in any way. Point. And life can keep going.”

”Entahlah..”.

”You should be happy because of that child.”.

”Danu often says similar things about his son who is soon to be born, but I can't feel that way at this time.” Yudi did not see the savage work in Mirna's eyes for a moment when he heard about the baby Danu. ”Maybe I'm not ready.”

”Who is ready to hear news like this?” Mirna responded..

Yudi was silent, in this opportunity suddenly his eyes were drawn to Mirna's view like a pair of magnets clashing together. The girl did not smile or give any expression, just stared solemnly. The two looked at each other for a long time, without saying a word, as if everything had been understood by itself through it. Yudi could understand the desire behind that gaze, the desire that cornered him to a guilt for not being able to fulfill it. The young man sizzled, ”I'm sorry, Mir.I can't be the one you want.”.
