MYFATHER

MYFATHER
Episode 27's

Yudi felt like he had been bullied when he left Fadil. The crowd of people watching still gathered and they were busy talking to each other, with knotty smiles and strange glances to him and Mirna. Do not know if they laughed at the Mirna incident or if he seemed stupid because of the ’dada’ incident.

”Still looking around?” El asked.

”No, ah! I'm tired. Direct to where you are.”

”OK, ”El grin. ”Hopefully Galih is done with his cooking.”

”Galih?” ask Yudi to Mirna.

Mirna shrugs, ”Who is Galih? Is she your wife?”

El chuckles, ”She's not my wife. The lives of the people in the circus do not know the household culture. She's just a girl who feels comfortable living a train with me.”

The El train is square with two pairs of wheels on each side of its corners. Made of fiber glass painted in striking yellow, it looks shabby full of dust as if the train has undergone such a far region, maybe even through difficult and dangerous places, as well as the train, if you look from both sides of the back that slightly dented and cracked window glass can be known that El is not a patient rider because it often crashed his vehicle. From the chimney billowing smoke that delivers the delicious smell of fried onions and fat, Yudi had to hold his saliva.

El opened the door and let them in before exclaiming, ”GALIH..”.

His shout surprised Mirna and Yudi, even though without the need to shout even the call must have been heard in the small car. Among the boisterous sounds of frying in the kitchen, El's call was answered by the cry of a woman who was no less shrill, ”CLOSE THE DOOR IF ENTERED...AND PUT YOUR SCANDAL ON THE SHELF

FRONT...”

Really like in the forest, Yudi looked at Mirna and the two giggled amusedly. El approached a small refrigerator next to a closet containing disheveled clothes and picked up three cans of beer. He puts the three on the table and Yudi immediately picks up a. Mirna looked at him with a frown, ”I don't drink beer, know.”.

”WHICH GIRL DID YOU BRING THIS TIME, EL?” exclaim Galih without waiting.

”YOU EAT HERE, SO I CAN INTRODUCE..”.

The sound of the codet stirring the frying pan stopped and the woman named Galih emerged from the kitchen. The woman was beautiful but a disheveled look, her face was so typical of gypsies but with clean and light skin, her curly hair had not been combed, a cigarette tucked between her thin lips, while a dirty apron wrapped around his skinny waist. If she was wearing a more shiny and sexy outfit then Yudi immediately remembered that she was the woman who was targeted by the knife thrower in one of the performances.

”Halo, my name is Galih..” reprimand him without bothering to come closer and shake hands. Mirna nodded and gave a smile accompanied by Yudi.

”This is my step-sister Mirna. And that's his girlfriend, Yudi.”.

”Hey, since when did I..” Yudi did not continue because his feet were trampled by El.

”Why is your face so?” Galih looked at Yudi who was frowning suspiciously.

”Blooded. There was a small incident. He must catch Mirna who fell from the top of the rope.”

”Tali si Fadil?” Galih. ”Don't let yourself be bullied by that madman.”.

”Unfortunately, I just experienced it,” Yudi tried to be funny. ”You should have warned me earlier, something our guide did not do.”

Mirna giggled and El looked at Yudi with a frown. Galih looks at El, ”Sister? You never told me you had a half-sister?”

”I myself almost forgot if I didn't meet him yesterday. We haven't seen each other in a long time,” El replied. He sat down at the table and placed a beer can with a rowdy, ”Food is ready?”

”Food alone is in your brain. You should have accepted Bongkeng's offer to hire you as his assistant. You'll have more money than just being a stand.” keeper

”How many times do I have to say that I have no interest in working with the carousel. Making my hand fat.”

”Ah, that's just your excuse. You must be unhappy because he's my ex!” hatch Galih.

”Tell me, what did you say..” sela El. ”How's the food? We have to host these guests of honor, don't let them down!”

”The food will not be enough for the four of us,” Galih frowning.

”Then we do not need to eat,” said Yudi mediated. He felt bad if his arrival here resulted in a fight between the two. ”Do not bother...”

”Yes, El. We don't want to be troublesome,” Mirna added.

That obviously disturbs El's self-esteem, ”You think I can't afford to entertain you. Sit down and let Galih think how to provide it for us. You hear me, beautiful lady ?”

”Ya..yes...yes..” Then he grumbled and went back to the kitchen. A moment later came the pan being lifted and something poured onto the plate.

Mirna looked at her half-sister, ”It's okay you treat her like that?”

”She is actually smart but has to be driven that kind of way to be creative,” El said.

”Not, I mean. shouldn't you be rude like that. Moreover, she is not your wife.”

”Then I can treat her that way if she's my wife?” El asked back.

”We just don't want to make the atmosphere unpleasant,” said Yudi.

El even laughed, ”What's bad? You think we're fighting just because of this? Jesus, no! This is a normal situation for us. Otherwise we are confused.”

Galih returned with a tray containing a large plate of chicken and four plates. He distributed it deftly in front of each person and left one for himself. The girl pointed to the rice-cooker on top of the refrigerator that was not as high as Mirna, ”Take her own rice..”.

The lunch was indeed perfunctory but the rice is delicious and the fried chicken savory make Yudi addicted. The four of them enjoyed lunch without making a sound, busying themselves until finally Galih ended the silence, ”I remember now, El once said he had a sister different father. Are you what you mean?”

”Ya, right..” says Mirna nodded.

”You are really beautiful. Didn't think you could have a sister like El.”

”What do you think I'm a stoat descendant?”

”Then you imitate your father..” taunts Galih.

Mirna giggled amusedly while El looked at Galih glaring. In this case Yudi immediately argues that he agrees with Galih. The woman laughed hoarsely, ”No need to look at me like that. Ugly like this I still like you.”.

You can see that they love each other, although often said something with a ketus and a slippery tone but the way Galih take rice from rice-cooker or the way El set aside his side dish to the plate Galih clearly shows it without them noticing. Their relationship, which El says is unclear, shows signs that lead to marriage.

”Yeah, but that doesn't mean you're free to say I'm as good as my stomach!” nagel El.

”And I'll keep telling you that you didn't tell me about it, El!” galih

”Yes, tell me about it, El! I want to know about your family because Mirna also told me nothing about it,” Yudi who saw the opportunity immediately gave support.

”Hey...hey..why all of a sudden everyone ganged on me?” el turned to Mirna. ”Don't you also ask for it?”

”Yeah, you know that I wasn't born when it happened.” said Mirna.

El groans, ”Sial! Now I realize taking you to lunch is a bad idea.”

”Already. There's no harm in knowing about the past, right? We can learn something from him,” persuaded Mirna.

”Yes, but your mom or dad should have told you that. Not me,” El said.

”The reality is they don't do that. And you, the only person I wish I could tell me, let alone I've never had the time like this with you.”

El downed the water to get rid of the food that clogs the esophagus, ”Not much in fact I remember about their relationship. All I know is that goodbye isn't easy. Many bitter things changed everything but they tried to do it as best they could, though I knew their hearts were bitter with each other. Maybe it was an attempt so that I, who was a child at the time, was not too hurt if parted with one of them.”

He took a breath before continuing, ”Even though they loved each other, they seemed to have prepared themselves in case the breakup really happened. I remember when we were having dinner, they were having a serious debate about who I should be with when I was missing the new year. Funnily enough, they did not insist that I should join one of them but instead insisted that their partner should take me. Mother insisted that Dad should take me with him, and vice versa.”.

”Kok so like a wasted child. Lack of attention,” Yudi nodded with concern.

”Before your father took my father's place.” he frowned, considering the thorns in the family is not easy let alone tell it. ”...we are happy life. I know Dad loves you so much and vice versa. One thing I remember about them only when we were both on vacation to Rawen. There is a beautiful place that will never escape my memories. The lake in the middle of that forest.”.

”Lake green?” keep Mirna.

”Yes, and I'm sure Mommy once took you to that place because it was her favorite place,” said El.

”That place is awesome. Especially when the sun is on.”

”Not sunlight can not penetrate to the forest floor?” ask Galih.

”Not from above, but the lake is located on a slightly sloping plain that allows sunlight to penetrate through it through the trees as it emerges from the east, ” replied El. ”You could see the color change?”

”Ya,” Mirna nodded happily.

”Changed so what is the lake when exposed to sunlight?” ask Yudi interested.

”Yellow gold.”

”Golden yellow? Then why is the place named green lake?”

”The name was taken because of its magical ability. The lake is a place for couples who love each other to come to get a clue to the goddess Hindeari.”

”Hindeari Goddess?” Yudi frowned. ”Who is he?”
