Steve and Jenni are now just silent they hold each other's hands so tightly, happiness seems to be hidden by the two people. Steve actually from earlier wanted to ask the decision why it could change but he still enjoyed the moment where his heart soared. The moment where her heart flowers because she has been chosen by her lover. Which man does not have a sense of happiness when getting a woman who is willing to sacrifice for his love, a woman who is willing to leave her job just for a serious commitment.
" Steve why are we here?" Jenni was now staring in astonishment when her car entered an apartment owned by the man.
" We need privacy to talk."
" Speak?" Jenni repeated the word by frowning. " What else is it?, didn't I just say that my decision to marry you..." Again with no understanding to his lover. " Did I have Steve's step wrong?"
" No dear, but we must speak seriously..." Jenni now just stared at her lover with a doubtful look. But he remained silent and complied when the car door was opened by Steve.
Now they walk towards Steve's unit with the same silence even though the hand remains tightly grasped. There was no talk during their trip to the man's unit.
" What do you want to talk about again?" Jenni now immediately opened her voice immediately asking, from earlier her curiosity now she can not control when they were on their way to the unit.
" You're telling me that your job is very important and then you say you want to marry me?, are you serious?, you're not playing with me?" His mind was now filled with question marks.
" You still suspect me?"
" No, I'm just asking."
Jenni was now staring at her lover, she was looking at her lover's face really. There's no suspicion there maybe he just still can't believe what he just heard.
" Steve I know you have a thousand questions to ask me, but I've been convinced by my decision to back out of this. You are right the position I got yesterday is very important to me, I dreamed so much. But there's no point in a high office if my heart feels empty..." He said clasping tightly into his girlfriend's hand, he knew it wasn't Steve's intent to suspect him but there was anxiety on his face.
" I thought everything over last night really, really, take it I had to leave my job and choose to marry you. I'm tired of all this fighting, I want to live quietly with our little family later..." She continued with a small smile on her lips.
" I know you're worried about me and your team, but I've been convinced by my decision to step down. Yesterday I left you guys I called my commander and said bring me back, I said I'm getting married."
" Why don't you want our profession to go any further?"
Jenni smiled back. " I just don't want to interfere in my husband's business later. I just want to wake up fit, deliver you at the door while leaving for work, in the cooking house, clean and sitting sweetly welcoming you home from work, enjoy our happy moments every day. I don't want to burden my mind back with a serious problem..." Steve is now looking at his lover with a difficult view to understand, he is looking for the lie but in fact he found a clear happiness in the look of his beautiful face.
" You seriously want us to get married?" Jenni now nodded with a happy smile.
" Aren't you going to regret it?" Again Jenni shook her head quickly. " My job is dangerous, dear?"
" I've been through dangerous work too baby and I love that challenge too."
" My job will involve the police or CIA agents, are you ready if we have to run and maybe even someday we will hide from my opponents?"
" I'll stay by your side, baby..." He replied with a amused smile, he knew that his lover was only worried that he was not.
" One time you go forward you can't back off and you can't let me go if you're something when you ask to leave my side."
" And so I'm ready to go into the prison of your love Steve, I'm willing in his origin to be with you. I love you so much love you..." She said half-cried with a smile that could not fade from her pretty face.
The face full of anxiety and fear now disappeared instantly hearing everything the woman said. That happiness now fills the hearts of both people who are in love.
Steve hugged the woman tightly. Hugging her lovingly, hugging each other with her happiness. Their grief yesterday taught them how painful it is to lose their loved ones. Losing their loved ones makes them realize that their hearts feel empty when they are far from the people in their hearts.
