Not Wanting (So) the Second
Episode 49: Failing to Go

Step by step taken by Lukka is still in a state of mind and feeling rowdy. He did not have the courage to look a little, or just put a question mark on his heart.

While back there Yasmine is still hooked. Highlight his eyes said that he was eager to see Lukka's face for longer, perhaps for the last time.

The naive look in the eye changed direction immediately, when Lukka stopped his steps. The man paused for a moment, then turned around and stepped back. A step that is so level and full of curiosity, which makes Yasmine embarrassed to throw views so as not to be discovered.

"I want to ask something a little sensitive" Lukka said with a serious look.

"a.why..?" Yasmine bent her brows, trying to set the expression as flat as possible.

Not yet had Lukka's mouth moved, a young mother ran towards Yasmine in a hurry.

"I'm sorry, my stomach hurts so much. Is she crying?" said the young mother was hesitant, because it had troubled Yasmine.

"No, he's sleeping pretty good." Yasmine handed the baby over with a big smile. Although honestly his hand was numb because he held the little baby's head.

After saying thank you repeatedly, the young mother said goodbye while carrying her suitcase.

"You want to ask what?" yasmine asked, breaking Lukka's expression.

"So not his son?" inner Lukka was a little relieved.

"Where are you.where are you?" In the end, only that question came up.

"Outside the country, didn't I say it."

"How long?"

"uhuh..?" Yasmine was astonished, was this the sensitive question? I don't think he needs to answer.

"You..want to leave me again?"

Yasmine swallowed her saliva spontaneously due to that question. "I'm..."

"Why don't you ever think of me?" Lukka's eyes raised a sharp, drugging howl. Disappointment and longing that accumulate makes Lukka difficult to control themselves.

"What are you talking about." Yasmine gave a small chuckle, she tried to shift the subject. He even grabbed his suitcase to avoid that awkward situation.

"True, I don't know what I'm talking about either." Lukka's corner of her lips carved a thin, bitter smile. Yasmine's expression really made her mind grow claustrophobic.

Lukka held back Yasmine's arm that was about to move. "At least look me in the eye if you never think of me."

Yasmine snorted heavily, then turned her head and forcedly looked into Lukka's eyes. "Have..?"

The gaze was not strong, Yasmine's eyeballs seemed to sway like they could not bear to turn away.

"Then, the last sensitive question." Lukka raised one of his eyebrows lightly. "Where did you keep your passport?"

"In my bag, why?" Yasmine brushed off Lukka's arm, then turned around dragging her suitcase.

But beyond suspicion Lukka even snatched Yasmine's tote bag like a pickpocket. He took advantage of that careless moment.

"What do you want..?!" Yasmine tried to snatch the bag, but Lukka lifted it so high that Yasmine could not reach it.

With both hands raised, Lukka hobbled Yasmine's bag. He got a ticket, and a passport book. Not only that, Lukka also found a file stating that Yasmine will move citizenship.

"Return it..!" peekek Yasmine took pains to jump.

"You go further this time." lirih Lukka was really disappointed. His chest was rumbling, tight and sore. Yet he kept smiling, a smile that was somehow explained. Between full of wisdom and bitterness.

Without a second thought Lukka tore up Yasmine's ticket into a small sheet. He grabbed the ticket, put it in his pocket.

"Indeed..!" sahut Lukka is no less upset. I don't know if it's his childish attitude. He was very upset, very disappointed because Yasmine was still being naive.

"Mister Lukka's..! Mister Lukka's...!" shouted one of the foreign men. The half-bald-headed man looked annoyed at the long wait. Finally, he had no choice but to shout Lukka's name.

"Yes sir.." Lukka ran towards the man while carrying Yasmine's bag.

"Lukka..! Return bagku..! Lkka..!" Yasmine ran a few steps to catch up, then she picked up her suitcase and went back to chasing Lukka while dragging her suitcase.

"Lukka...!" strangle him again with all his might. But the big baby didn't touch him.

"alice...! His brain hasn't changed at all..!" Yasmine continued running while cursing Lukka. His attitude is still childish.

"Why choose an international school? Wherever the school, as good as any accreditation, still depends on the intelligence of the child. If Anna is smart and quick to respond, then she can go to any school with the best grades." Ambar said at length, when Agam talked about sending Anna to school. He seemed to not accept if Agam's treatment was excessive to Anna.

"It is precisely that intelligence will be further eroded if the environment is good, ma. If Anna was schooled in an ordinary school, then the materials and lessons she got were not as good as in international school." Agam appeared to remain strong.

Ambar sipped his tea, before giving Agam a snide shout. "Don't overdo it, Anna is just your adopted daughter. You better think in the future, how can you have your own children. Or if you need to find another surrogate woman like Yasmine. You're so stupid for still keeping Nisha."

"I was a fool for being born of a narrow-minded woman like my mother." ketus Agam threw his face away, eager for him to drive the old woman from this earth. If it wasn't her mama, maybe Agam would've sewed Ambar's mouth for a long time.

"You...!" Ambar grumbled in annoyance, but his curse stopped when he saw Nisha had returned home.

"Misha.., Nisha.." Ambar makes Nisha's tired steps stop.

"What's up, ma..?" he looked lazy.

"Agam said he wanted to send Anna to an international school. You agree?"

"Just give it up" said Nisha as she continued her steps up the stairs. Why ask his decision? It used to be time to bring Anna into this house, didn't they all think she existed?

"Mr...!" greet Anna from the top of the stairs. He showed off a big smile to welcome his new mother back home from work.

"Mama, I just bought you a twin nightgown for us. Later in the night we wear yes." pinta Anna with a twinkle of a very cheerful face. That plain face showed expectant.

Nisha was silent for a moment, her breathing looked heavy. Somehow seeing Anna his heart was getting messy. But he tried to be friendly, because it was useless he vented his frustration on the child who did not know anything about it.

"Yes, now my mom wants to rest first. Mama's tired." she passed by Anna, without giving any touch.

Even so, Anna was already very happy. Although his little heart is a little short because it has not been able to interact like parents and children.

Nightfall....

Yasmine leaned her body against one of the pillars in the lobby. His face was so messy and frustrating.

"Do you know how long I've been preparing my money, myself and my mentality for today?" curse Yasmine while tightening her jaw.

"No. I decided to be indifferent, just like you who do not care about my fatigue looking for your existence." Lukka replied while dragging Yasmine's suitcase. He's taking Yasmine tonight. Tomorrow they will talk about the continuation of that hanging feeling.

Yasmine was completely shocked to hear Lukka's already much different language. It is like dealing with a stranger. It was very different from Lukka who had taken his bag.
