Not Wanting (So) the Second
Episode 58: The Burning Thorn

Agam stood up and hugged Nisha from behind. He held her tightly, while trying to ease the crying.

"Done, mas!" sergeant Nisha, he is holding a clear cyst that has filled the eyeball. He tried to get rid of Agam's arm, but the grip was too strong.

"Why don't you forgive me? Is that just how big your love is?" Agam was really frustrated, he would not release Nisha's body, no matter his wife was trying to thrash.

"Let GO..! Or I'll yell." threatened Nisha to take pains to get away.

"Just scream, I don't care. I want you back home, we live together again, loving each other like we used to. Tell me what can I do to get you back home? I have to what..?" He buried his face on his wife's shoulder. The light brown pajamas got wet slowly as Agam's eyelids clung to it.

Nisha took a deep breath. His chest rumbled incessantly. "Get Anna back in her place. I'll go back home, if you can get Anna out of the house." Rough salivary sounds heavy through Nisha's throat. Her conscience is no longer there for Anna. She really hated the fruits of her husband's and that woman's love. He hates it so much.

Agam was silent for a moment. His gaze looked for the look on Nisha's face that just had the heart to say that. "Anna doesn't know anything, baby. He's not guilty. Please don't involve him."

"Tell him that I'm not his mother! I don't want to see his face! He was wrong to have been born as the child of your affair with that cheap woman!!" nisha's strangulation broke away from Agam's arms which began to loosen.

The mind of Agam is very sick to hear that speech. He and Sandra are so ugly. But Anna, wouldn't it be too cruel for Nisha to take this out on a child who doesn't know anything about it?

"You're too much, Nisha. Anna was wrong. Do anything to me, but don't take your revenge on Anna." wry Agam with a cold look.

"Yes..! I am indeed outrageous. I was lied to and my husband had a child with his first love, so what can I do? Should I laugh celebrating the illegitimate child? While I. I can't have children!"

"Then how is it different from you forcing Yasmine to give birth to a child for us? You don't realize how selfish you were then? Have you thought about my feelings? Yasmine's feelings? Only with money do you play with a girl's future, for the sake of getting a child that even you can't be born with!" I rebuked Nisha with a stern look.

"It's different, mas! Anna was born through an affair, she is in this world because of your sin and that cheap woman. While the child Yasmine was born with, she was there because of my despair. Both are clearly different! What you did with that woman was so despicable. While I did to Yasmine because I was so desperate. You think my feelings didn't hurt back then? During the night I was afraid that when my husband turned away, I was afraid that my husband would fall into the perfect hands of Yasmine as a woman. I endured the pain, for whom? For the sake of you who will not divorce me, and for the sake of fulfilling your mother's wish to immediately have a grandchild from you. But what did I get? I endured the pain desperately, withstanding all-out jealousy, it turned out that my husband had already been playing crazy with other women!"

Nisha let out her heart while crying sobbing. He really held himself back all this time. Surviving a marriage that he considered very beautiful. But it turns out that the ark of marriage is gradually causing a very deadly parasite.

"I'm happy to be married to you, but the environment and circumstances of our marriage are very painful for me. I can't go back.." Nisha's voice was hoarse and disjointed because her crying was unrelenting. In an instant his face was puffy and reddened.

There are a thousand languages there. Turns out that's what's been hidden behind Nisha's cheerful smile? For over ten years Nisha harbored all those thorns, but what did she do? Instead of being a shield, he thrust a spear at Nisha. It is precisely he who makes Nisha's pain more clear.

"I'll agree to the lawsuit." If forcing Nisha back would only make her sick, then she should be able to endure the pain, for the sake of Nisha's happiness.

"I'm sorry.." said Agam bowed deeply, then moved from there.

As soon as Agam, Nisha locked the door tightly, then sat there crying bitterly. Both of his hands clenched and struck his chest slowly. Very tight.only the claustrophobic is left. Why is his life so broken and so steep? He must have lost his way without Agam, but he will only feel pain if he continues everything.

Nisha's doorbell kept ringing. Nisha who was doing yoga got out of her mat, and opened the door. He froze when he saw who was coming.

"Yasmine...?" Nisha's eyes were rounded. How long have they not met? It looks like two, or three years.

"Jiang..." Yasmine greeted him with a warm smile.

.

.

"How are you?" Nisha does not know, that Yasmine has already met with the Agam family.

"Okay, how are you?" Yasmine looks awkward, but she tries to forget what happened between them in the past.

Nisha nodded with her trademark gentle smile. Although his face was still left puffy, he tried to give off as much cheerful aura as possible.

"What brings you here?" Nisha was very curious about Yasmine's destination.

"Actually, I've been meeting the Lukka family lately."

"really?" Nisha looked in disbelief, what really happened?

"Then, you must know what has happened to me and Agam" he added with a bitter smile.

Yasmine nodded slowly."Yes, I'm here..."

"If you're here to talk me back to that house, just go." Nisha threw away her face, her face turned sour.

Yasmine immediately dismissed Nisha's assumption. "No. it's not like that. I'm just here to tell you that me and Lukka are getting married."

"Married...?" Nisha looked at Yasmine doubtfully. Since when did they get into a relationship?

"Yes.., four more days." Yasmine replied convincingly.

Nisha breathed a sigh of relief, meaning Yasmine was not making things up. Hearing that he was also happy, because he had long prayed that Lukka could soon get married. Hearing that Yasmine was the bride candidate, she was even more relieved. Because he knew Yasmine had a very sincere heart.

"I'm glad for this good news. Congratulations on..." Nisha moved to sit next to Yasmine, then rubbed the woman's shoulder.

"But sorry, I can't come. Things are messing up for me and Agam." he added as if feeling guilty.

"It's okay, I understand. I just came to tell you. After all, you're one of the people I've been close to." Yasmine is moved, unexpectedly their relationship and encounter can bring herself so far into a colorful life.

"I'm very grateful, because thanks to you, I got to know Lukka."

"You deserve to be happy..." Nisha gently rubbed Yasmine's shoulder while smiling widely. He could only hope that a similar happiness would come back to his life.
