Ola
In the afternoon, armed with a discharge paper, a guidebook, and a notebook of Oleander's progress from Doctor Sheila, we returned to my apartment. The original plan was that Oleander and I would stay with Mama and Papa in Sentul City until I could handle Oleander independently. However, after thinking about it it would be very difficult for me because I had to drive almost two hours to get there. Be, Mama and Papa give up. They'll be cramped in my apartment for a while.
We rode the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 5-seats in a metallic gray that belonged to Angga. Bang Oli sat in the passenger seat while Angga drove. While I was sitting in the back passenger seat with Oleander who was in his car seat.
"When did Daddy and Mama arrive?" ask Bang Oli while looking back.
"Most tomorrow, afternoon." I answered from my seat. "Why?"
I saw Bang Oli pause for a moment and nodded. "OKAY. Goodgood. So I have twenty-four hours to interrogate you both."
Uh-oh.
Angga laughed stifled. "What interrogation, anyway? Am I the same Olavia criminal what? Don't worry, you, lo."
Bang Oli's hand immediately floated and punched Angga's shoulder. Although I'm sure the contact that just happened wasn't too harsh, (Bang Oli didn't have the heart to punch his best friend hard, did he?) but what I saw still made me grimace.
"What the f– ... what the fudge, man?" Angga. "Ngapain use my non-jok show all, huh? Really sick again. Fuck you." He rubbed his shoulder with his right hand several times before re-holding the steering wheel with both hands.
"Gue is no longer joking, yes, Kunyuk." Bang Oli again obfuscated Angga by giving his fist once again.
Once you play hands, okay. I assume it's their language style in making friends. However, if Bang Oli had to do it many times and in front of me anyway, then I wouldn't just let it go. I don't care about the friendship language they have. Clearly, no one can hurt Angga in front of me.
Anyway, what was Bang Oli thinking about, huh? Angga, right, is driving a car! "Oi, Bang!" I rebuked him with half a whisper and half a shout. I hit his arm with my hand. The loud sound of palms meeting with the skin suddenly filled the car cabin. "Don't play at that, dong! Sick knows! Anga Lagian again drive. You want your nephew why? Hm?"
From the corner of the eye, I could see Angga poking at his lips, trying to hold back the smile or laughter that was about to escape from there. While now it is Bang Oli's turn to rub the former arm to abuse while shaking his head. "This is what I mean. Here," he said while pointing at Angga. Didn't think to touch her again. "Demi lo, Nyuk, my own brother, who since birth I protect from anything even from an ant once, my heart mukulin. For the sake of lo doang, Kunyuk. For lo doang. It's more than crime. It falls into the category of treason."
Automatically my eyeballs turned behind my petals hearing the dramatic chatter of my brother. Protect since birth his head pitak. There he rarely pranks, scaring me to tears. After the tears had broken, she regretted and hugged me until I was silent.
However, of course that did not make him stop being a prankster brother. He still likes to piss me off for his own pleasure.
Till now.
Like at the moment.
"But I'm serious. I really have to interrogate you both, especially you, Kunyuk."
Well ... welp! Instantly the atmosphere in the car cabin changed drastically. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the change of scenery out there. From the original full of multi-storey buildings into residential areas whose buildings are rare, have a fairly large and green yard, and trees that grow shade.
Nope. No.
Angga glanced at me through the rearview mirror of the car. Highlight his sharp eyes and his atapan full of meaning make my hair goosebumps. He ... he is also as serious as Bang Oli. A head at a glance.
I returned his nod with a faint smile.
"Gue understands what you mean" Angga said later. "And for starters, I'm just gonna say this one sentence. It's up to you to still have questions afterwards. As much as any question mark that goes out of your mouth it will be me jabanin. But, please you keep in your brain this one sentence of mine before you interrogate me any further. Okay well? I'm serious too, bro."
Silence continued its existence between us.
My attention was still gushing to the two men sitting in front of me.
Bang Oli turned his head, but not to face the friend who was sitting next to him but to look out the window. Pressing the arm to the handle on the door, then covering the mouth using the palm of the hand. The thumb supports the chin and the index finger curves between the upper lip and the nose. Occasionally it appears he is rubbing the newly emerging fine hair around the jaw with the palm.
While Angga refocused himself staring at the streets ahead. In about ten minutes we'll be at my apartment.
Well, I think I just have to leave them to their own thoughts for the time being then. They're already big. They will find a way to accept each other's decisions.
Then, I finally turned my attention to the figure who was still asleep. It's really nice to be this guy. His world will always be safe if the stomach is full and the diaper is clean.
However, one thought made me sigh. I remember what people say. Time traveled so fast, darting away in the blink of an eye. One second you're here, looking at your baby boy, but a second later, they've been running around the yard and making noise.
Oh, my God.
I can't imagine if that's true. I don't feel happy if it happens like that.
Kala Oleander with his beautiful behavior certainly will not last long. Especially with the assistance of two men whose behavior is like Bang Oli and Angga. "Oh, my God. No." I groan.
"Why, Honey? What was? You want us to stop first?"
"Why, La? Is anyone sick? Where's where?"
The two men spoke at the same time. The anxiety on her face and her tone of voice inevitably made me smile. Although Oleander will imitate the fad of Bang Oli and the overprotective Angga, but he will also learn to love as thoroughly as they did me.
I think, I think Oleander will be just fine.
I know my son will grow up just fine.
