The Seven Roses

The next morning, David was in front of Aretha's house. At once Aretha made him surprised, how could David suddenly be in his house, while he knew that the man was in Bali.

The man was sitting in a rattan chair in front of Aretha's house. After a few minutes of waiting, Aretha came to him.

"Mas, what are you?" Aretha seemed to frown in wonder, then sat down on the other chair.

David looked over with a smile. "I came home last night" he answered.

Aretha nodded in understanding. "I called the other night, why didn't I pick up?" tanyakanya.

David was silent for a moment, before he finally answered. "Sorry, honey .. There's a little problem, so I can't take a call from you. After that, I immediately got ready to go home and did not have time to call you back," explained David. Again Aretha simply nodded her head in response.

Not long after, Aretha immediately invited the lover to leave immediately, after saying goodbye to his parents. David also agreed and immediately drove his car to split the highway that had been crowded by several vehicles.

There's not much they talk about when they're in the car. After half an hour, they had finally arrived at the campus, where Aretha was studying there.

As usual, David drove Aretha to the campus courtyard, where students and lecturers used the place as a parking area for four-wheeled vehicles. The man seemed to rush down from his car, then opened the door for the lover, before Aretha managed to do so.

With a slight hesitation and awkwardness, Aretha published her smile, then got off the car. However, just before the car door was closed again by David, suddenly one of the girls who was suspected of being a student on campus seemed to approach Aretha.

David's attention was distracted when the girl gave a rose to Aretha. Aretha was a little confused, not understanding the girl's intentions. Aretha did not know him.

"Mbak—"

Not yet had Aretha asked, the girl had passed away from before him. He turned to look at David who was still standing next to him. However, only a few seconds later came another girl who approached him and he still did not know the girl.

The girl gave another rose with a different color, which is white. Aretha made more and more confused with all that. In fact, the two girls did not say anything to him.

"You guys?"

Followed again with other roses, until he got seven roses with different colors from different people.

Aretha was already holding the seven flowers.the girl slightly shrieked looking at David who was still busy watching him with suspicion.

Finally, a girl approached him again and was still unfamiliar. Either those people were from what faculty so his face was so foreign to Aretha.

The girl did not bring a rose, but she brought a small card and gave it to Aretha. With doubt Aretha grabbed the card. The girl immediately departed from the presence of Aretha, having completed her task.

"Wait!" call Aretha. However, it was not responded to by the girl.

Slowly, Aretha tried to open the card, perhaps she would find the answer to her question at that time. However, David swiftly took the card from his hand, before Aretha managed to open it.

David seemed to open the card, then read the contents.

David squeezed the greeting card, before Aretha knew the contents. David seemed to show a furious expression, then clenched his hands together.

Aretha turned towards David. Instantly the girl was made afraid of the expression of the lover at that time. Something must have made him angry. But I don't know what? Aretha began to wonder.

Soon, Samuel appeared before them. The man appeared to be standing about five meters away from the two lovers. It seems that the man was deliberately wanted to heat up David at that time. He also did not want to lose to David. David is Aretha's lover. But that did not make Samuel give up.

David, who at that time realized the existence of Samuel, immediately stepped foot with his hands still on his head, intending to approach Samuel. However, as quickly as lightning Aretha grabbed David's hand making the man turn his head, then stopped his steps.

Aretha shook her head as if giving sign language not to do anything bad to Samuel. However, Aretha did not want David to look low in front of others, even more so to the point of fighting with Samuel just because of trivial problems. Ah, it's embarrassing if that happens.

Yes, trivial. That's according to Aretha, but not for David. Samuel's efforts that seemed eager to show as a gentleman in front of his own eyes, it made David feel more worried.

If it was in front of him, Samuel could act that brave. So, what if they are just alone, without his knowledge? What if Aretha was impressed by Samuel's efforts? Think David.

"Calculate David, don't lose to the boy. Rest assured that Aretha is only made for you" whispered David inwardly.

David turned his head for a moment towards Samuel, then refocused his gaze on Aretha, his hands moving flanking the two cheeks of the girl before him.

Aretha's heart was made to beat fast because of the work of the lover. Aretha did love any sweet treatment David had for her. Not in the campus environment either.

When the girl's cheeks flushed, her eyes seemed to be rounded, casting their eyes in several directions, looking for anyone who was watching her romantic scene with her lover. Fortunately, the place seemed deserted, it was certain that no one else saw it, except Samuel.

"Darling, I'll go first yes, you take good care of yourself, if anything bothers you, please let me know as soon as possible" David said, staring into Aretha's face, then he glanced at Samuel for a moment, while Samuel who had been watching him seemed to smile bitterly, as if he did not like it.

Aretha smiled, though she was actually embarrassed. "Yes. You are also careful, Mas," he said, nodding his head immediately to make David widen his smile.

Seeing the romance of the lovers made Samuel immediately ride apitam. His heart was burning with jealous flames. However, it wasn't Samuel's name if it couldn't hide that sense by still appearing elegant. Samuel just grinned, staring at the two.

"Honey, it seems you have trouble carrying these flowers," said David while holding seven flowers that are still in his lover's grasp.

Aretha glanced for a moment at the flowers, then looked back. ,"Hn?" Aretha had a flat expression.

"Here, let me help!" david said, then grinned happily.

A plain-looking Aretha immediately gave the roses to David. David took it with both hands, and then he took the seven flowers to a trash can in the area.

Without hesitation, David threw the flowers in front of Aretha and Samuel who suddenly made Aretha buyak not believe. Instantly Aretha made her frown.

However, Aretha felt bad for Samuel. Didn't David just throw it somewhere else, not necessarily in front of Samuel either, he thought.

Different from Aretha. Samuel looked more relaxed with what he had just witnessed. The man did not care about the seven roses that David threw before himself. To make David jealous of him, it was more than enough for Samuel Benedict.
