Along the way home, Aretha and David just fell silent, there was no discussion between them, even though they had been in the car long enough.

Aretha had rested her head on the backrest of the car seat, with her head slightly drooping weakly. His gaze focused out the window, staring at the busy street with several vehicles. However, his gaze was as empty. There seems to be a lot he was thinking about at the time. Yeah, correct. Especially if it wasn't for Richard.

He wanted to say what he had been hiding from David. However, his mouth was stiff and his heart felt heavy. Moreover, Richard had already forbidden him from saying that to David, no matter what.

Aretha believes Richard has a reason why he intends to hide it from David. In fact, until Richard himself dared to lie to his best friend. And, however, the girl took part in the lie.

That really made Aretha a dilemma. He did not want the lie to backfire later, while he and David had planned further. Isn't trust an important key in a relationship? So, why does he let his relationship be in a lie that can actually destroy it?

Amidst her daydreams, Aretha occasionally let out a long sigh, trying to give herself some peace. His eyes are still focused out. However, his mind was still floating everywhere.

If he is suddenly honest with David, then the friendly relationship between David and Richard is at stake, because not necessarily David will tolerate it.

I didn't expect that loving you would be like getting on a plane, full of tension and a high level of risk.

In the middle of driving a car. David occasionally glanced to the side. Finding Aretha who looked dreamy made the man a little anxious. Instantly he slowed down his speed.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" david asked, turning for a moment, and refocusing his gaze forward.

"Hn?" Aretha gasped, then turned her head with a flat look.

"Is there something you're thinking?" david asked as he scrunched his forehead.

Aretha was silent for a moment. "Ti-no, Mas," said Aretha a little nervous. "I'm just a little sleepy" he added with a small laugh.

David touched the top of the girl's head beside him. "Sleep, if you're sleepy" David said, smiling sweetly. Aretha simply replied with a slightly forced smile.

Yet Aretha was not calm. He could not if he had to keep hiding that reality from David. However, David must know that he had a special relationship with a man who was none other than the friend of his future fiancee.

Although his relationship with Richard has run aground, but is it inappropriate for David to know about it?

Seeing David's kindness towards him made Aretha could not bear if she had to constantly bully him.

"Mas," called Aretha down, making David instantly flinch.

"Yes, Honey?" ask David.

"I want to say something" said Aretha.

"Let's just say, there's no need to ask for such permission" David replied without turning his head.

Aretha took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. "I—"

At once Aretha's speech stopped, when David stopped his car around the city park which was so crowded with visitors and snacks. This place is perfect for just hanging out.

"Lho, why stop here, Mas?" ask Aretha.

"Do you want ice cream?" david asked, looking at Aretha. Aretha nodded with a smile. However, he was a little disappointed because what he was going to say to David had to fail just like that.

"What do you want?" ask David.

"Chocolate," short Aretha.

David immediately got out of the car and approached the ice cream merchant who was also selling at the place.

Not long after, David seemed to bring two cups of ice cream into the car, then give one of them to Aretha. Aretha grabbed it with pleasure. David turned his body to Aretha.

"I stopped here on purpose. It looks like there's something important you want to talk about" David explained. "What's wrong?" tanyanya stared questioningly, then put a spoon of ice cream into her mouth.

Aretha lowered her head. "Mmm ... I .. I ...," said Aretha nervously.

David immediately grabbed Aretha's chin making the girl look at him. "Darling, what's wrong?" tanyanya while staring questioningly.

Aretha forced her smile. "What ... Mas David has really .. ahem ... loved me?"

Yes, God .. am I evil if I keep covering up this lie?

David stared fixedly at Aretha's face, then widened his smile. "What makes you not believe?" tanyakanya.

"Hn?" Aretha fell silent.

"Is there anything you don't believe?" david asked, frowning his forehead.

Aretha cast her gaze in any direction. "Ti-no, of course not there," he answered nervously. "I just can't believe that our unintentional meeting could have come this far" he added without looking at David, forcing his little laugh.

David uncovers a part of Aretha's hair that slightly covers her face, then tucks it in Aretha's ear making Aretha look up, looking at her. "Trust me if this is destiny!" ogre. Aretha simply responded with a nod of her head.

"Oh yes, there is something I want to tell you" David said.

"What?" ask Aretha curiously.

"I fired Alivia" David replied casually. However, it was enough to make Aretha jump in shock. Why was Alivia fired? thought.

"Why?" Aretha looked astonished.

"Mm .. because he tried to tempt me while in Bali," explained David a little doubt. At once Aretha widened her eyes, between surprise and disbelief.

"You're being teased by Alivia's sister, Mas?" aretha asked, starting to growl.

"Yes, dear ...," said David scowling spoiled. "Times she ... mmm—"

"Why Mas? What are you doing with him, huh?" sergeant Aretha cut off the conversation.

"When he kisses my lips the same way?" david is obviously lying.

Aretha had an angry expression. Between annoyance, anger and disgust, everything is mixed. Somehow describing his feelings, it was clear Aretha had made him rise in blood instantly because of it. How could Alivia do that to her own boss.

"Mas David! You lied to me, right? Madam Alivia couldn't have done that to you? ANSWER ME!" babble Aretha is full of emphasis.

David glared for a moment. "Where could I lie!" the obvious answer is a lie.

"Bc.iiiiih ... David Mas! Anyway, I don't want to marry a man who has been touched by another woman. NO!" peekot Aretha's.

"Eat him delete dong, honey!" his word deliberately seduces the lover which is enough to make Aretha confused.

"Where can? I've been trying to erase your tracks all night, still feels, oops!" Aretha seems to be flabbergasted. He immediately pursed his lips with one hand, while David only grinned happily at it.

"really?" asked David happy who immediately made Aretha's face flushed. The girl just kept silent and did not answer.

"You don't want to help me erase Alivia's tracks?" whining David.

"If I could do that, I might have done it without you telling me to. Indeed you think I would like to marry someone—"

"How could it be, dear ...," said David interrupted Aretha's speech.

"How is it?" ask Aretha astonished.

"With this." David brought his face closer to Aretha's face while he was singing his lips as if he was going to kiss the girl. However, he had not succeeded in doing so, Aretha had first dispelled the handsome face with her own hands.

"Mas David! What the hell, fuckin' pervert!" aretha annoyed while keeping David's face away from her. However, David only chuckles at the adorable actions of Aretha.

After a while, David begins to tell Aretha the true events and the girl understands them. However, he immediately recalled his own lies. He feels more guilty. David can be honest with him, why is he so hard to do the same?
