"Happy birthday, happy birthday dear, happy birthday." Sam stood in front of Rissa while holding a chocolate tart with a line of small candles filling the middle of the cake. Rissa who had just woken up was amazed to see the sight before her. She did not expect to get such a surprise from her husband.
Rissa smiled with satisfaction after blowing out the candle. He is happier when Sam declares giving him a wish as his birthday present. Actually there is nothing that Rissa wants anymore because it feels like all she has got after becoming Sam's wife. But Sam allows Rissa to keep the request until she really has something to want and Sam promises to make it happen, whatever it is.
"Well, I'll keep my golden ticket that I call lucky. Because this is truly a miracle in my life. Appreciated by your own partner." said Rissa in a soft voice.
"Listen .. I will always love you, no matter what. You are so precious to me!" Sam stressed. He really did not want his wife to feel unhappy again. For that he is ready to do anything.
"Oh, baby, when are we going to the hospital?" Rissa asked, considering that they had been here for two days and Sam never brought up the problem of treatment. Previously Sam said the first day until they will go directly to the hospital. Actually Rissa suspected something, but she was not too dizzy, treatment or not is not important for her because now she feels her body condition is improving, being close to Sam is more than enough. He is healthy and will be fine.
Sam did not answer, instead diverted the conversation so Rissa was increasingly convinced that something was wrong.

Rissa finally dared to call the doctor Ines, her mother-in-law to ask what really happened. Doctor Ines initially did not have the heart to explain, but Rissa urged and because she felt she deserved to know so finally the doctor Ines told her everything as well.
[So that?] Rissa shaking. Is that the virus in his head?
After hanging up the phone, Rissa was pensive. He didn't expect it to be this complicated. For the first time, he felt scared too. He had just felt the happiness of his time would have died so soon had he not undergone the experiments his mother-in-law had told him about.
For the first time, Rissa read all the articles related to two colleagues who were both the research material of the professors. It is a bit difficult to find the full news on the internet, but from the picture of their death alone can make Rissa dazed in fear.
"Darling," suddenly Doctor Sam came home. Seeing Rissa's sad expression made Sam's doctor worried that something would happen to his wife, after being crowded, Rissa opened her voice when she knew everything.
"I'm not gonna do anything, am I?" Rissa asked while forcing a smile. "Darling, I'm pretty sure I'll live a long life. People say a happy heart can be a medicine. I will live happily because there are you and later we will have many children. But not to be an experiment. Our children will grow up like normal children. There is no need for research in my life. I don't need that!" Rissa who initially tried to calm down finally got carried away with emotions as well. Actually he was very scared, so he was shaken like this.
"Sorry baby, sorry. I promise I'll try to keep you!" Said Sam.
"Then let's just go home. I don't want to be here. Let's go!" Rissa whining. He who is only a High School graduate can not think of the sophistication of science so far. About researches that are out of his mind because he is a layman.

Rissa had a bad dream. He was awakened by Sam in a drenched condition due to a flood of sweat. After the conversation he became parno, afraid of why-not. So it carried over into his subconscious and became a nightmare.
"What to the hospital? There is no cure." Rissa replied in a soft voice.
"Darling .. sorry, but at least you can get the vitamins to make them fresher." Said Sam.
"No, I'm okay." Just now he was about to get up but immediately fell down, fortunately Sam was on standby, immediately welcoming Rissa and helping her sit down.
"No, you're so limp. Let's just go to the hospital. I'll carry you." Said Sam.
"Not to." Answer Rissa.
"But,"
"I told you not to!" Rissa who had been carried away by her emotions finally spoke loudly as well. Actually he did not intend that, only his feelings were chaotic so such a release. "Sorry, I ...."
"It's okay. I get it." Sam hugs Rissa, giving her the energy to let her know that there is a man who will always be there for her.
"I'm scared,"
"Yes, I get it. I will accompany you. We're not going to get treatment you don't want."
"I'm afraid of death. I was afraid to go to hell, I ... just felt happy but everything will be gone!" Rissa's crying broke. He's really scared. For twenty years his life was careless. Just busy with world affairs. Now that he was sick, he faced death. So he was worried, what if suddenly died while there was no provision that he had.
"Let's change together." Said Sam. "When seeking treatment. We fix everything. Who knows if God will help us."
For the first time Rissa prayed together with her husband. Sam always prayed by himself. Rissa had been invited but refused for various reasons so Sam was not too imposing.
The newlyweds performed the tahajjud prayer together. They flooded with tears, stirring up all their hearts. Sam is endlessly praying for Rissa, while Rissa unsettles her life. He's really scared. He wants to live longer. He wanted to feel like he had a complete family. Have a lot of kids.
"Why don't you want to do it?" ask Rissa carefully. "You're afraid our kids will experiment, right? Or are you afraid that I won't be able to run it and die?"
"Not so, I just ...." Sam can't answer because Rissa's accusation is true. He deliberately did not give Rissa the right as a wife even though he could because he was afraid that Rissa would get sick later or he was tempted by what the professor offered to his son later to save his wife.
