Chapters. 23. The Implied Truth.

Zanna is shocked to see Naomi also enter the cafe, and follows Calvin's steps towards the 2nd floor. He also immediately went in there to steal what they were talking about.

Calvin and Naomi were sitting in a corner of the room on the 2nd floor, while Zanna herself was still climbing the stairs and looking for a safe place so they wouldn't see her.

"This is what you asked for, Mr. Calvin." Naomi immediately handed something to Calvin as proof that he was the official messenger who was ordered to take the diamond. "And my boss can't wait anymore either. If you don't hand it over right now, then don't blame me for hurting you."

Glug.

Calvin swallowed his saliva violently when he heard what Naomi said. "What, are you threatening me?"

"Of course not, sir. It's not just a threat, but a reality that will happen if you don't do what you're supposed to."

Calvin let out a rough sigh upon hearing that. "alright. I, I'll give you the diamond. But before that there's something I want to say first."

Zanna who had been listening to their conversation from behind the wall was very surprised to hear Naomi's words. "Who exactly is that woman named Naomi, why would she want to take my father's diamond? And what's really going on?" He felt very confused.

"Tell me, sir," Naomi said with great emphasis.

Calvin took a deep breath before saying what he wanted to say. "Si*dance. I have to tell them about Zanna, otherwise I won't get anything."

"The owner of the diamond is alive,"

"What?" Naomi was shocked when she heard what Calvin said. "Wait, what do you mean by the owner of the diamond is Miss Zanna?"

"You know him?" This time Calvin was surprised. He did not expect that the woman knew Zanna, and it seemed that she was already far behind.

"So right, if Miss Zanna owns the diamond?" naomi asked again who was answered with a nod of Calvin's head.

"It's fair that her face is very similar to that of the mistress, it turns out that Miss Zanna is really still alive." Naomi could not wait to tell this news to her employer, and she would be very happy to hear the news.

"alright. I'll meet Miss Zanna and say-"

"Attent."

Naomi was unable to continue because Calvin suddenly cut her off. "You can't go straight to her without my permission, because she's my wife."

"What, wife?" Naomi was surprised. Didn't Zanna say that she and Calvin were brothers? Why is she now a husband and wife?

"Yes, she is my wife. And his father I mean Mr. Jendi has left it to me" said Calvin back.

"Aren't you going to marry Miss Rere? Why do you now say that Miss Zanna is your wife?"

Calvin was speechless and could not answer what Naomi was saying. There's no way he's saying he's been having an affair with Rere.

"Are you cheating on Miss Zanna's back?" naomi's question was very on target once made Calvin immediately panicked.

"Bu-not like that. I just, just use Rere alone," said Calvin stuttering.

Naomi looked at the man sharply. He wanted to beat up Calvin, but it was all out of his job. "alright. I don't care what you do. Now quickly hand over the diamond, because I want to see Miss Zanna."

Calvin says the diamond is in his apartment, and they leave the cafe to return to the apartment.

Naomi, who happened to want to go to the toilet before leaving the place, was immediately pulled by Zanna to enter one of the toilets.

Naomi immediately grabbed Zanna's hand and twisting it made the woman scream in pain.

"sickness, pain. Let go of my hand."

Naomi rounded her eyes when she saw whose hand she was currently clutching. "No-nona Zanna?" He then let go of his handrails making Zanna breathe a sigh of relief.

"You're so strong, do you intend to break my hand?" zanna said as she held onto her throbbing wrist.

"I'm sorry, Miss. I'm surprised and accidentally did a reflex move on you."

Zanna just nodded her head while massaging her hands. She knew that Naomi did it out of surprise, and it was all her fault, too.

"But, what are you doing here, Miss? And why are you pulling me like this?" asked Naomi in surprise.

"I've heard everything, Naomi. I overheard your conversation with Calvin earlier, and I want to go back and ask him,"

"Are you following Mr Calvin?"

Zanna shook her head. "It doesn't matter, Naomi. Now tell me everything about what you said to Calvin earlier, especially about the diamond. Why are you saying that it's mine?"

"Because it's yours, Miss. It looks like the accident caused you to lose your memory, and it happened a long time ago, too,"

"Say, tell me everything!"

Naomi nodded her head, but before that. Zanna tells him to find a way to keep Calvin from returning to the apartment first, so he doesn't get caught outside.

Naomi nodded her head and hurried to call Calvin, and said something to the man to avoid returning to the apartment.

"How's it?" ask Zanna when she's done talking to Calvin.

"Just calm down, Miss. I've taken care of everything."

Zanna breathed a sigh of relief. He then immediately tells Naomi to tell him about the diamond, as well as about who she really is.

Naomi then said that the pair of diamonds belonged to Mr. Zean, the leader of the Zander clan and the father of Zanna.

"Dad, is he my father?"
