Chapters. 41. What Not Much Retaliation.

After a while, Calvin and Rere arrived at their destination. Rere immediately asked the security guard to remove Calvin from the car, as he could not take him down by himself.

Once inside the company, the people who saw them immediately whispered neighbors. Some even purposely spoke loudly for them to hear.

Especially with Calvin's situation like that, of course they are curious what has happened to them.

"Hay Rere's. Well, the newlyweds have just entered work, yes" said one of the employees who attended the wedding party at that time.

Rere just smiled to respond because he was only a few months in the company, so he did not have close friends and just a working partner.

"But, what happened to you, sir? Oh yeah, I forgot. You were, you were run over by your wife. Aren't you, Rere?"

Calvin clenched his hands with emotion, while Rere also stared at the woman sharply.

The people who heard it must have felt shocked, and started talking about it.

"How dare you act so disrespectfully to your boss!" calvin's shout made his voice echo in that place, but it did not frighten them at all even though he was the leader in that branch of the company.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Calvin. We've made the mistake of not being polite to you. But, it seems you do deserve it, Sir. You also don't deserve to be respected,"

"You-you"

"What the fuck?"

Everyone was instantly speechless at the arrival of the private secretary of the company's owner, as was Calvin who immediately lowered his head.

"Why are you gathered here, huh? Do you all want to be fired?" the secretary snapped making everyone immediately apologize and disband the line.

The man looked at Calvin and Rere. "You two, come with me to the boss's room."

"Bright, sir."

Calvin and Rere immediately followed the secretary into their chamber, and he knocked on the door before entering.

Calvin frowned when he saw someone else in the room, especially now that the person was sitting in the CEO's chair.

"Sir, they're the ones you're looking for" the company's CEO said as Calvin and Rere stood before them.

Zaydan stared at the two men sharply making Calvin and Rere swallow their salives violently, especially now that the man grinned making his face look creepy.

"So, you two are a couple of husbands who are going viral on social media?" zaydan asked as he leaned against the back of the chair, while the company's CEO and secretary stood beside him.

Calvin and Rere fell silent when they were asked such a question that their leader became enraged.

"An answer to Mr. Zaydan's question!" he snaps with a stifled voice.

Calvin looked directly at Zaydan while Rere lowered his head even more. "Sorry for making a fuss, sir. I promise I'll finish it soon."

"I don't need your apology!"

Brucks.

Zaydan threw the pen box right into Calvin's body making the man jerk, his hands were already itching to teach the man a lesson.

"I-I'm-I'm sorry, my Lord-"

Calvin then tried to look at Zaydan even though his chest was rumbling. "Areally who is this man? I've never seen him, but why is the boss so scared of him?" He felt very curious.

"Right, Sir. We're the ones in the video, but it's all a misunderstanding" Calvin replied.

"Misunderstand me?" zaydan asked back with a cynical smile.

Calvin nodded his head. "Yes, Sir. Actually my wife already knew that I was getting married that day, and she agreed. But he suddenly made such troublemaking and commotion."

"really?" Zaydan woke up and the CEO and secretary panicked.

Calvin nodded his head again. "I-yes, Sir. I'm telling the truth." Dai felt a very strong sense of intimidation from the man.

"I didn't want to do anything at first, and I'm just gonna fire you. But I changed my mind." Zaydan stood right before Calvin and watched the man's condition.

"Please forgive us, sir. I promise I won't make a fuss again and I'll get this over with soon." Calvin cupped his hands in front of his chest, as did Rere who followed him.

Although they do not know who Zaydan really is, they know that the position of the man is more powerful than their CEO.

Zaydan chuckled when he heard their plea. "All right, I'm not gonna fire you. But I'm gonna make you an office boy and an office girl."

"What?" Calvin and Rere jumped in shock upon hearing that. "What, what do you mean, Sir? How could you possibly do this?" calvin.

"I can do whatever I want." Zaydan smiled cynically again and looked at the CEO.

"No, Mister. You can't do this. It's better that we resign from the company than to be degraded like this" Calvin chanted in disbelief. How could they possibly demean him like this?

Zaydan who heard it immediately laughed. "Please, I'd be very happy if you and that woman quit the company. And don't expect you to be able to work in any company other than here."

"What?" Calvin was again surprised, as were all the people in the room.

It was easy for a Zaydan to do so, he could even take over the company in just one night. Then, what does it mean is just dust grains like them.

"Do what I said earlier, and don't let any company hire them" Zaydan's orders with great emphasis made the CEO and his secretary nod immediately.

"Ba-good, Sir. I'll do as you say,"

"Wait a minute, this isn't fair. Why should I be punished like this? I didn't do anything wrong to the company, I just-"

"Shut up! You have no right to speak." Zaydan pointed right at Calvin's face making the man instantly shut his mouth, while Rere was already sobbing.

"You should be thankful that I didn't step on you until it broke, because I still have a little bit of pity on you." Zaydan's words contained a threat as well as a warning, that he could do anything to destroy them.

"Who, who are you really? I've never had a problem with you, but why would you do something like this to me?" calvin asked with restraint.

"You asked who I am?" Zaydan then approached Calvin and stood before him. "I'm the uncle of someone you've hurt."
