Pursuing the Whole Love

Pursuing the Whole Love
Chapters. 43. Something is kept secret.

Grandpa Zaron glanced at Ella worriedly, while Venzo crossed his chest with a sinister smile on his face.

"alright. If so, we say goodbye, Mr. Venzo, "said Zaron's grandfather, holding Ella's hand.

"Why is that in such a hurry, Grandpa? Hasn't it been a long time since we met?"

Ella glanced at Zaron's grandfather and Venzo in turn. He was puzzled as to why his grandfather seemed to be agitated, while Venzo looked very relaxed with a very intimidating look.

"I'm planning on taking Ella to the company, sir. Maybe next time we'll see each other again."

Venzo nodded his head. "alright. I will visit your house later tonight. Be careful on the road, Ella. I'll see you tonight." She smiled very sweetly making Zaron's grandfather feel goosebumps.

"O-okay. If so, excuse me first." Ella nodded her head then immediately turned around and left the place followed by Zavier, while Zaron's grandfather was still there.

"Don't try to get in my way, grandfather. You know, my patience is thinner than a tissue?"

Grandpa Zaron let out a rough sigh then nodded his head. "I understand, Sir. But it's been a few years, maybe you-"

Venzo raised his hand to make Zaron's grandfather stop. "I don't want to hear anything. Don't forget, I can help you. Even now I can destroy you, so don't fuck with me."

Zaron's grandfather realizes that what Venzo is saying right now is all threats as well as warnings, that the man can do whatever he wants.

"I know, Sir. But I just feel worried. I have lost my son and son-in-law if I lose another grandson. Then I won't-"

Venzo immediately gripped both of Zaron's grandfather's arms tightly. "It is precisely because of you that I lost Ella for decades. Since you're also the one he had to lose both his parents, aren't you self-conscious, huh?" He then threw out the old man's body until he took a few steps back.

"Should I tell Ella everything about what you've done, huh?"

Grandpa Zaron cupped his hands together in front of his chest. "No, Mister. I don't tell Ella, later, she can misunderstand."

Venzo chuckled at what the old man said. "Misunderstand what you said? How could something that was intentionally done, be misunderstood?"

"No, Mister. It was all just a misunderstanding, and he had absolutely no intention of that,"

"alright. Whatever you want to say, obviously don't try to get in the way of my and Ella's relationship. I'm gonna take him out of your rotten house." Venzo immediately turned around and moved away from the place. She feels really upset when she remembers the past that caused her to almost lose Ella for all eternity.

Grandpa Zaron stared at Venzo's back sadly. What the man said was not true, and all was misunderstanding.

After the beach, Ella was actually brought to the company by her cousin and grandfather. He stared at the astonishment of the magnificent and luxurious building, especially when he saw the people passing by in that place.

"How many people work here, Zavier? The building is so tall." Ella narrowed her eyes as she looked up.

"No idea, brother. I think there are thousands," replied Zavier who did not know because he was still sitting on the lecture bench.

"Why are you still standing here? Come on, let's go in," Zaron's grandfather took his foot into the company.

Ella and Zavier follow their grandfather's steps. Some of the passersby immediately greeted them kindly and while bowing their heads.

Zaron's grandfather takes Ella to the room of his late eldest son who is accidentally emptied. He didn't want anyone else to occupy him, except Ella.

"Come in, this is your papa's room."

Ella stepped her feet to enter the room while watching the surroundings, she then smiled as she looked at the photo that was clearly displayed on the wall of the room.

"Did you love me and mommy so much, cake? I can see our photos in every room papa," said Ella while watching her photo flanked by her parents.

"Of course, Ella. He loves you very much" replied Zaron's grandfather as he walked towards the desk in the room.

"Here you go, Ella."

Ella who was still watching the photo turned to her grandfather and walked over. After that his grandfather asked him to sit in the chair, even though he was confused.

"You're the one who's gonna work in this room, Ella. You're gonna be the leader of this company."

Ella rounded her eyes when she heard what her grandfather said, even though she had heard it from Naomi.

"No, Cake. I don't want to." Ella got up from the chair making Zaron's grandfather frown.

"Why, Ella? Why don't you want to?" ask her in wonder.

"Grandfather, I am your descendant. But that doesn't mean I can lead the company just like you, I can't. I just want to go back to teaching, that's all." Ella rubbed the grandfather's arm gently making the old man sigh violently.

"Son, grandpa knows what you mean. But you're our descendant, you're entitled to this company" Zaron's grandfather said.

"Grandfather, not being a leader doesn't mean I'm not entitled to the company. I will only learn it from a distance and not directly work with the company, I do not want the ability that I do not have will instead destroy the company. After all there were Zaydan's uncles as well as Zavier who would lead the company, they were more than capable of doing so."

Grandpa Zaron rubbed the top of Ella's head gently. What his grandson said was exactly the same as Zean used to be before he became CEO at the company. "You're exactly the same as your papa, son."

"really?"

Grandpa Zaron nodded his head. "really. Your father used to say the same thing, because his ideals became an architect. He's the one who designed this company building, and our house."

"That's right. But my mother said, grandfather instead forced uncle to lead the company."
