REINCARNATION: TRAPPED IN THE WRONG BODY
CHAPTER 5. General Zhong Guo's Residence

***General Zhong Guo's residence*** 

The horse that was riding on Jing Mi stopped in front of General Zhong Guo's residence. 

Jing Mi jumped down from the horse deftly. 

The gatekeeper of General Zhong Guo's residence rushed into the residence. 

A short while later Ming Lan and Zhong Min walked out from within General Zhong Guo's residence. 

"Daughter Jing Mi," Ming Lan greeted with a smile. 

Zhong Min also spread his sweetest smile to Jing Mi.

Jing Mi did not pay any attention to the mother and child who came out to greet her kindly. 

Jing Mi's attention was distracted onto her horse. The king who was still sitting on the horse was trying to get off the horse.

Due to Zhong Li's frail body, King could not jump down from the horse but rather King hugged the neck of the horse tightly with both hands, while his legs hung to the side of the horse's body while trying to get down. 

Suddenly King felt his body lift up. It was easy for Jing Mi to lift Zhong Li's body off the horse and push him towards Ming Lan. 

Ming Lan who had been pretending to be very affectionate towards Zhong Li in public, inevitably had to capture Zhong Li's body. 

"Zhong Li's! What's wrong with you?Why is your body and hair wet?" ming Lan asked as she looked at Zhong Li's face with a worried look. 

Though Ming Lan was holding back her disgust with water droplets from Zhong Li's hair hitting her clothes.

King looked at Ming Lan with a blind Zhong Li-style blank look. 

In an instant the piece of Zhong Li's memory of Ming Lan was plastered in King's eyes.

Ming Lan was Zhong Li's stepmother who had always been gentle to Zhong Li when Zhong Guo existed. As Zhong Guo advanced into the battlefield, Ming Lan would ignore Zhong Li. 

Zhong Guo was more often on the battlefield until Ming Lan was the one in charge of the residence. 

Ming Lan was very affectionate towards Zhong Min, his biological son who was the half-brother of Zhong Li. 

"Based on a two-headed snake!" said King's heart. 

King just fell silent and pretended not to know what had happened to him. Ming Lan reminded King of Bu Siti in Jaka Orphanage first. 

"Fall into the river! I saved him!" jing Mi replied in a flat voice. 

"Thank you Princess Jing Mi! Please Princess Jing Mi step into the residence to enjoy a cup of tea," Ming Lan invited as she pushed Zhong Li's body into the gatekeeper. 

"Let me escort you into the residence," Zhong Min said and walked towards Jing Mi. 

Zhong Min greatly admired Jing Mi who was one of the strongest women in Wang Kingdom so would not miss this golden opportunity to come into close contact with Jing Mi. 

Not yet had Zhong Min's hand touched Jing Mi's arm, Jing Mi had already jumped up onto her horse. 

"No need! I'm leaving now. Take good care of him!" jing Mi's message from above the horse while glancing towards the King who was exposed by the gatekeeper. 

Jing Mi stomped both her legs violently on the belly of the horse and her horse instantly moved quickly away from the residence of General Zhong Guo. 

There was only the sound of the footsteps shrinking, while the shadows of Jing Mi and her horse had already disappeared. 

"Crazy! So tight! Fortunately it was not tight," said King's heart. 

The king could imagine Zhong Li's body experiencing jet lag as the speed of the horse was extremely out of bounds. Zhong Li would definitely vomit the entire way and it must be his miserable self from being trapped inside Zhong Li's body right now. 

Zhong Li aka King pretended to look the other way with a blank look as if unaware in the glare by Ming Lan. 

"What am I pelototin for? I almost forgot he was blind!" said Ming Lan. 

"Bring young master Zhong Li to his room!" ming Lan's orders to the gatekeeper. 

"Good Madame Ming Lan!" answer the gatekeeper obediently.

***xhong Li's room*** 

The gatekeeper lifted Zhong Li onto the bed. Then leave Zhong Li there. 

On Zhong Li's body was still attached to his wet clothes and covered by Jing Mi's robe. 

Zhong Min kicked at Zhong Li's room door and walked inside the room. 

Zhong Min sat on a wooden chair and raised both his legs on the table while looking intensely at Zhong Li who was sitting leaning on his bed. 

Zhong Li aka King pretended to look the other way with a blank eye view as if unaware of Zhong Min's arrival. 

"Damn! The blind man did not drown! Princess Xing Xing will definitely be furious!" zhong Min's heart. 

"Sister Zhong Li! Why did you drown?" ask Zhong Min. 

King laughed sinisterly in his heart when he heard Zhong Min's question. 

Zhong Min was the one who brought Zhong Li there. Then quietly pushed Zhong Li into the river, then Zhong Min rushed back to General Zhong Guo's residence to make an alibi. 

Although Zhong Li was blind from childhood, Zhong Li had such a strong sense of smell that Zhong Li could tell who was nearby.

Whether male or female, it had a different body scent and Zhong Li was able to recognize it well. 

It was not only Zhong Min who intended to kill him. Zhong Min has a plot that is Princess Xing Xing. 

Zhong Li, who had met Princess Xing Xing a few times, was already familiar with the body scent emanating from Princess Xing Xing so Zhong Li was sure Princess Xing Xing was also near the river earlier. 

Poor Zhong Li could only let his body further sink into the river without knowing clearly why he was killed by Zhong Min and Princess Xing Xing. 

Whereas Zhong Li considered Zhong Min as his younger brother and Princess Xing Xing as a future wife who will always be loved even though she is blind.

Without feeling any tears dripping down Zhong Li's cheeks. Zhong Li's body reflexively expressed the sadness of Zhong Li's heart that felt betrayed by the two people he loved so much all this time. 

King wiped his tears violently. 

"Crazy! What a cry Zhong Li! Nevermind! Moving on is not hard!" said King's heart. 

The real Zhong Li had already died from drowning and only his body remained.  Since the King's spirit was inside Zhong Li's body so the King was determined to help Zhong Li take revenge as a token of gratitude for the new body for him. Although his little heart was not content to be trapped in this new body. 

"I'm King, who will help you take revenge against everyone who has ever hurt you!" the King's heart.

"Zhong Min's! I'll follow your game" said King.
