CHAPTER 6. Warplice

***xhong Li bedroom*** 

"Zhong Min?" said Zhong Li aka King while looking the other way. It was as if he had just realized Zhong Min was inside his room after hearing Zhong Min's voice. 

"Yes Brother Zhong Li. I'm here" Zhong Min replied as he stood up from his seat and walked over to Zhong Li. 

Water was still dripping on Zhong Li's wet hair. Zhong Min stared enviously at Zhong Li's black and silky hair. Very inversely proportional to his coarse black hair. 

Zhong Min looked towards the scissors that were on the table and immediately picked them up. 

"This is my chance to cut her hair!" zhong Min's heart. 

Zhong Min's small gurgle was clearly visible in the eyes of the King who was already experienced as a secret agent. 

"Crazy! Why would he hold a pair of scissors? Kill Zhong Li again? Or?" 

King was guessing in his heart. Zhong Min sat down slowly beside Zhong Li. 

"Sister Zhong Li! Whose robe is this?" zhong Min asked as he pretended to hold the robe on Zhong Li's body.

"He's interested in Princess Jing Mi's robe?" said King's heart. 

When Zhong Min's left hand wanted to hold Zhong Li's long hair, King noticed it quickly. 

"Damn! When did he cut Zhong Li's hair?" said King's heart.

Zhong Li aka King racked his brain hard to prevent Zhong Li from becoming bald because of Zhong Min. 

Although King preferred his dark blue short hair, but Zhong Li's smooth and soft long black hair was not too bad compared to Zhong Min's coarse and stiff black long hair. 

"What world is this? Envy by hair?" 

King swore in his heart. 

Zhong Li's weak body was unlikely to be able to fight Zhong Min now. 

So there was only the only way the King could protect Zhong Li's precious hair . 

"AHHHH! UHHHH!" 

Zhong Li aka King shouted with all his might while holding his head. King wanted to attract the attention of the servants of General Zhong Guo's residence. 

Zhong Min was shocked by Zhong Li's loud cry and caused several maids to run inside the room to see what was going on. 

Zhong Min hid the scissors on top of the bed and pretended to stare at Zhong Li with a worried look. 

Although Ming Lan had ignored Zhong Li all this time, but the servant of General Zhong Guo's Residence no one dared to injure Zhong Li because Zhong Li was the future son-in-law of Emperor Wang. 

"What's the matter young master Zhong Li?" 

One of the servants ventured to Zhong Li and asked him. 

"AHHHH! It hurts! My head hurts! The water! The water! I'm drowning!" 

King pretended to be traumatized by the drowning. 

"Relax young master Zhong Li!" said the waiter. 

Zhong Li aka King still raved indistinctly and shouted. King's main goal was to lure Ming Lan into his room. 

And sure enough, a moment later Ming Lan walked into Zhong Li's room. 

"What's this?" shouted Ming Lan loudly. 

"Mother! Mama!" 

King released his two hands that were holding tightly to his head earlier. Then King flailed both of his hands to the side while shouting mother, as if he was looking for Ming Lan.

The few servants who were inside Zhong Li's room, directly stared towards Ming Lan.

Ming Lan who was the center of attention was forced to approach Zhong Li aka King.

"Mother is here" Ming Lan said as she stood in front of Zhong Li.

Ming Lan had always hated Zhong Li who was still betrothed to Princess Xing Xing even though Ming Lan had deliberately made Zhong Li blind since childhood.

When Zhong Li was a child, Ming Lan deliberately gave away a poison drink secretly that could cause Zhong Li's eye vision to gradually disappear.

The poison drink was so effective and colorless that the healers who examined Zhong Li back then had absolutely no idea Zhong Li was blind to the poison.

Until Zhong Li was an adult now, every month Ming Lan always gave the poison drink so that Zhong Li's eyes would never heal forever.

"Mothers. I fear. It was cold, "murm King while pretending to tremble.

King knew Ming Lan had deliberately allowed Zhong Li's body to remain wearing wet clothes which could cause Zhong Li to fever and suffer.

The blind Zhong Li, would absolutely not be able to take his clothes and replace them by himself so even the King who had to pretend to be blind could not change his wet clothes.

The King did not want Zhong Li's body to hurt, the tip of which he felt the pain.

"Mothers. This robe is very warm," Zhong Li said and pointed at the robe on his body.

The robe belonged to Princess Jing Mi. The King suggested it was no ordinary robe. Zhong Min was really attracted to his robe, but was more interested in cutting Zhong Li's fine hair.

"Cloak?" ming Lan said as she looked carefully at the robe on Zhong Li's body .

"Whose cloak is this?" ming Lan asked with a pale face.

King could clearly see Ming Lan was frightened by the robe he was wearing.

"Daughter of Jing Mi!" Answer King .

"Daughter of Jing Mi?" ming Lan asked once more for certainty.

"Yes, Mother . Princess Jing Mi lent it and will take it again," replied King.

The King deliberately lied Princess Jing Mi would take back the robe because this precious robe should not fall into the hands of Ming Lan or Zhong Min.

The robe that Princess Jing Mi gave to Zhong Li was no ordinary robe. It was a battle robe often worn by Jing Mi and was a gift from Emperor Wang.

Ming Lan recognized Emperor Wang's stamp symbol on the robe.

Jing Mi gave her battle robe to Zhong Li signifying Zhong Li was within his protection.

It was only fitting that Princess Jing Mi asked them to treat Zhong Li well.

If Zhong Li was sick or suffered any losses, then Princess Jing Mi would make a calculation with them.

"Help young master Zhong Li change his clothes now!" ming Lan's orders while holding back her sense of regret and walking out of Zhong Li's room.

Zhong Min who was curious about the robe immediately followed Ming Lan from behind.

The departure of Ming Lan and Zhong Min made King feel relieved and take a deep breath.

The two servants swept Zhong Li's body onto the bed and helped him change clothes.

Princess Jing Mi's robe was neatly folded and placed beside the bed at King's request.

Today Princess Jing Mi's robe could save Zhong Li's body from becoming feverish and suffering.

King believes that tomorrow there are still other challenges that must be faced.
