The decision to take Rama's divorce to court has been unanimous. All the files and evidence have been prepared by the lawyer. Tomorrow morning I'll be going to the religious court office to sort things out. I will also refuse any mediation if it is offered to fix our household rift. For me, it's enough to get here.
"So, is it certain that Susan's custody will fall into my hands?" I asked doubtfully.
"A hundred percent I say yes, ma'am. What else is suspected Rama entangled in a corruption case that led to criminal. That means his name is legally defective and the court will not give custody of the child in the wrong hands even if it's his own parents" Dimas' lawyer said.
I breathed a sigh of relief, because I was too panicked I could not think clearly.
"Tomorrow, I will accompany you to finish everything so that no one can threaten you, especially Rama. I'm baffled by the rumors of their affair just bird news, but it turns out it's real." Dimas spoke. The man put the file on the table and looked at me. "Tomorrow I'll take you home."
"But I don't want to bother you too much. I'm also afraid you're getting carried into my trouble." I'm not talking as formally as Dimas asked me a moment ago.
"I understand and I don't care. So, you just have to be prepared" said Dimas incontrovertibly. He ended the meeting until his lawyer resigned.
"Come, I'll take you home. Oh, yeah does your daughter like her new school?" Dimas' face looked cheerful when discussing Susan.
"Yes, it seems so. From tomorrow he can go to school."
"Good, at least the boy can be comforted." Dimas getting out of the seat. I followed him too.
"I'll just go home by myself. I was escorted by your driver anyway." My words stopped Dimas's steps. The man judged myself from toe to toe. "Why?" many wonder.
"It's stupid that Rama's been weeding out a tough, nice and beautiful wife like you." Dimas' praise stunned me. Even the thin smile on Dimas' face almost made me misbehave. Conscious Rimaaaaaa you can't think that much. I screamed in my heart.
"Then, what's your next plan?"
"Oh, of course I'll focus on raising my daughter."
Dimas nodded slowly. "What about the wedding?"
I flinkered for a moment looking at Dimas who seemed to be waiting for my answer. Why did the man ask about marriage while I was not officially divorced. I chose to shut up and leave.
Dimas followed and opened the door. Let me out first.
"Why are you so kind and willing to help me? In fact, we only know it rarely chat, "quote me when our steps have aligned.
"I'm good and my instincts say you're a good woman too, so I think we fit in." Dimas blinked one eye just this time I saw him joking.
I smiled as if there were no problems in my life. "If so, can I ask you something?"
Dimas did not answer until we got into the elevator and went down to the ground floor. I can tell you he doesn't want me to ask you anything.
The other employees whispered when they saw Dimas and me. I just realized I was too close to Dimas. Until I finally downplayed the steps behind Dimas. However, unexpectedly Dimas turned around and looked at me.
"Come, Rima. I want to hear what you want to ask me."
