"I'm sorry, because of my personal problems, I'm not at work and forced to ignore my responsibilities." I spoke after putting a glass of tea on the table for Dimas. While Susan had just entered the room ushered Art Dimas who had switched functions to be Susan's nanny.
"Just calm down, that's what we take care of after you're officially divorced. I'm sure Rama and Citra can be dragged to the prison" Dimas said.
I sighed deeply as I tried to imagine the fate of those two people. What else during this time the mother is very dependent on Rama. Can you see her son in prison?
The klang!!!!
My daydreams are crap hearing the sound of a can falling. That thing was rolling right at my feet. Susan's trousers we bought yesterday at the Mall. Susan was not far from me. Susan's face looked shocked to see me. Susan flinched for a while without coming near me until I approached her.
"Susan why? Is anyone sick, son?" I asked while holding Susan's hand as soon as I knew Susan was shivering like cold.
"What pain is it? Take you to the hospital, yeah." Dimas spoke because Susan was silent. The man approached us too.
"W-what-dad want to go to jail? Wh-why, Mom?" Susan asked while crying. "Don't imprison father, ma'am... Susan please."
I gasped at Susan's questions and requests. I shouldn't be careless about talking about Rama so Susan doesn't hear everything. I knelt down and hugged Susan.
"Quiet, yes, son. Susan don't think about it."
Susan's getting hysterical. His crying sounded bitter. I was confused as to what to answer. I know Susan must not have the heart to see her father in prison. But, I can't promise him either, because that man has already harmed someone else's company. And the decision is in Dimas' hands.
"Mom why shut up?" Susan took our arms. His face was red and soaked in tears. Really, I can't bear to see it like this. But, how could I explain to him.
"Of...." Susan turned to look at Dimas, looked up and held Dimas' hand. Dimas' attention was also on him. "Om, don't imprison my father. I don't want you in jail. Please, Om...." Susan sniffles.
I was not happy to see Dimas, the man took turns to look at me and Susan. For a few seconds Dimas glanced at me. I shook my head to code that Dimas didn't have to obey Susan.
Dimas stroked Susan's hair and knelt down and wiped Susan's tears. "Yes... I promise I won't put your father in jail."
Dimas's reply made me wonder at him. "Dimas, don't give such hope to Susan. He doesn't understand the matter yet."
Dimas didn't heed my words. The man hugged Susan and said, "Susan don't cry anymore. From today on Susan can keep the promise. I'll never break Susan's promise."
Susan smiled happily to hear it. "Really, Om. Dad was bad with mom but Susan didn't have to see me in jail. What else will there be a lot of Susan's temen-tekin because dad's in jail, Om.
Susan's that stupid and I don't blame her. But, I regret Dimas' decision. The worse song as a mother I couldn't do anything to Susan until the little girl asked someone else who was my boss. The one who should have imprisoned Susan's father.
