Gavin looked at his phone screen, reading messages from Hera. Before long he got up from his seat, stopping a fight between Maverick and Floyd about the delicious porridge mixed or not.
"Why, Vin?" ask Floyd while chewing his food—is now an hour of rest— with curiosity, while Maverick also asks through his gaze.
"Buy food for Arun. At first Hera would buy and bring it to the medical room, but now OSIS is again tense because its members are still in the first class bickering different opinions about activities on Valentine's Day." Gavin briefly explained.
"Today OSIS has a meeting? Then Arunika's not coming?" Now Maverick asks and is answered nodding by Gavin, "Hera says that Arun will be told the results of the meeting are the same as him, but Arun still does not know about this bick." The other two men there nodded in understanding.
"That means after you give Arun food, you go straight back to class?" asked Floyd again, making Gavin raise his left hand adorned by the watch and notice it.
Before long the man replied, "yes, ten minutes rest, I'll go straight back to class." Maverick and Floyd nodded.
"Yes, buy good food there, so that Arunika is not angry when she finds out that the members are fighting again" said Maverick, who ended with the oddity.
It has been an open secret—new Gavin know lately—that Arunika is known firmly in leading the OSIS and the woman is very dislike when there is a dispute between members due to trivial problems, because of the problem, like a difference of opinion. The chairman understands that each member must have his own opinion, but not all opinions can be realized and all OSIS administrators must understand that. Arunika considers, ready to be a manager means ready if one day his opinion is not realized. In the process every opinion will be accommodated and selected the best decision based on those opinions.
Gavin approached a food store that sells Indonesian cuisine, as Arunika likes fried rice so he bought the food. Not to forget about mineral water and fruit. After that he walked a little quickly to the medical room because the room was on the second floor, while the canteen was on the first floor. Arriving there, she knocked on the door slowly and said excuse me, there was one sister there. Gavin also said the intention of arrival and was encouraged by the sister.
The man entered the room where Arunika was slowly, not wanting to disturb. After putting the food he bought on the nightstand, Gavin was ready to leave, but suddenly Arunika's hand clasped his hand. Gavin turned his body and looked at Arunika who was still closing her eyes. Arunika's forehead wrinkled with a mouth that muttered slowly.
"Sister Demi, don't eat Arun's food!" Gavin felt interested to hear more, but was also a little confused by the name spoken by the woman. Brother Demi? Gavin decided to sit down and quietly listen to Arunika who was anxious.
"Sister Vian! Help Arun! Brother Demi snatch my food!" Reappearing one name that Gavin did not know, but a smile appeared on his face because of Arunika's childlike tone, plus her angry expression. Looks adorable to Gavin.
"Main slides? Arun wants! A promise? Then it's fine if Brother Demi wants to eat it." The face turned into a face full of smiles. Gavin himself can catch a little of what happened in Arunika's dream so he chuckles and suspects that the events in the dream occurred when Arunika was a child.
"Who? I promised I'd play Arun's game today." Now the face turned again into a sad look with a soft voice, making Gavin's smile fade away as well. The hand of the man who had been held by Arunika was finally released and Arunika put her hands together on the stomach.
"Sister Demi's not allowed mama, huh? Because there's a course?" asked Arunika in a soft voice, then shook her head and gave her bright smile, "it's okay, we can leave next time. Already, study there, don't make mama mad." And after that, Arunika no longer spoke, it seemed like her dream was over.
Gavin, who had been listening to the sentences in the first place, then had his memory twisting the conversation between himself and Arunika at the Rosverd family event. Arunika once said that he had been enrolled in many courses regularly from the age of eight years and Gavin suspected that 'Sister Demi' and 'Sister Vian' what came out of the mouth was the two older siblings Arunika— because Gavin had heard that the head of the Bumantara family had three children. And it seems, the two Arunika sisters also live a life that is not much different from the woman, which is taking many routine courses from a young age. If so, it means that the Bumantara family is very hard in educating their descendants and it is all for the sake of the views and opinions of people against them.
Gavin stared inside the woman who was now back to sleep soundly with a mind that only the man knew. Before long, there was a bell that signaled the break was over. Gavin got up from his seat and before leaving, he opened his smartphone and typed in a few things. A few seconds later Arunika's phone on the nightstand vibrated, indicating Gavin's message had come in. The man also tidied up Arunika's blanket which was a little messy because it moved a lot earlier. After making sure nothing was lacking, he finally left the medical room.
Arunika smiled a little read the message that is actually simple, just ask him to spend everything in a plastic bag and go home if it feels still not feeling well. But somehow Arunika felt the warmth of the message so no need to linger he replied by saying thank you. After that, he turned off his phone and opened the plastic bag.
"Fried rice? Is this a coincidence or what?" Arunika smiled brightly when she realized that the food Gavin bought was her favorite food. No need to think for long, Arunika immediately ate it with pleasure.

The brightness and warmth of the sun have been replaced by the darkness and coldness of the night. Gavin had been home from school four hours ago and was now working on a math problem given by his teacher. Although a little confused— fortunately there is help from the package book and internet— finally he can finish it. Gavin does not care about the answers on every issue right or wrong, which is important for him to do, at least that way he can escape the punishment of not doing the task.
Just as Gavin wanted to throw himself onto the bed, suddenly the door of his room was knocked from outside. His father called again for an unknown reason. With a feeling of ogah-ogahan Gavin came to his father's workroom, because honestly, Gavin felt like he wanted to lie down and do nothing. Arriving at the door, Gavin knocks on it three times and opens it slowly.
At the table located in the middle of the room, the father with the glasses hanging sat down and his gaze focused on the tablet in his hand. Maybe Gavin has never explained what the father's job is. His father worked as one of the composers in the world famous film studio—ia can also work for projects outside the film studio where he works, just not often. Many of his songs have become a hit among the public. He also won the honor of being the best composer for two consecutive years at one of the world's biggest awards. That's why there are so many film studios who want Harris Kanagara's intervention in their projects. Yeah, that's Harris Kanagara's name.
It took a few seconds for Harris to realize his son's arrival, "ah .. sorry, you've come to it." Gavin was just silent when he came, he was really lazy to talk.
Harris looked at his son's face, "what's wrong?" Gavin shook his head, "just lazy to talk, so what's up?" ask the child to-the point.
Harris smiled slightly and put his ten fingers together on the table and exhaled softly, "Cassandra Rosverd, the youngest daughter of the Rosverd family, wants to eat with you tomorrow at seven o'clock." Gavin's eyebrows swooped sharply, what else is this?
Gavin quickly refused, "no, tomorrow I want to practice a new instrument." Of course Harris already knew the child's answer so he had prepared a reply to the rejection.
"This was a direct request from them and the elders already knew about it. If you refuse, the elders will scold you and there is a possibility of causing offence from the Rosverd family. We don't want any trouble here, understand what I mean?" Gavin exhaled an irritated breath while rolling his eyes. Always like this, he was never allowed to refuse, as if all that mattered was the wishes of others and his desires were not important at all. And Gavin never knew when to be in this situation.
Because again lazily arguing, Gavin finally just nodded, "alright, I'll go. After all, why speak as if asking for my approval if in the end the only decision is yes?" The sharp words from Gavin made Harris' forehead constrict, while Gavin had already turned his body and stepped closer to the door.
When Gavin pulled the door and was ready to step out, the father's reply made him snort in disbelief, "Gavin, I didn't ask you for permission, I just told you." Gavin laughed at that.
"It's worth, then." Harris was speechless to hear it, whereas Gavin had left with a slight slam in closing the door. The reply was of course Harris understood the meaning, but he still did not understand why his son behaved like this. Harris felt that all the decisions he made were for Gavin's own good, for example. He decided that Gavin should accept a dinner request from the Rosverd family because he did not want Gavin to be scolded by the elders and offended the Rosverd— family which if it happened could cause major problems. If Gavin comes, his son can avoid both situations easily. But somehow, every decision always gets a negative response from his son.
Is this all the result of the growth process? When will the child understand what that means? Various questions came to his mind, but one thing Harris believed in, Gavin would one day understand his entire actions now.
