The War That Was Won
Starfall's forces numbered at least 5000 to 8000 personnel consisting of many parts. That doesn't include volunteers. At least, there is a logistics section that takes care of the needs of personnel. There are 300 people. They take care of food supplies and war supplies, ensure supply lines remain safe, or secure supplies themselves.
Then there's the artillery piece. They were the ones in charge of operating the magic cannon. They numbered about 40 active duty men and some went into reserve while waiting for the other cannons to be completed.
Then there were light and heavy cavalry units that each numbered 2000 troops. The heavy cavalry used a full armour and the Hulbert was large. Although slower than light cavalry, they have great attack power and are destroyed heavily on enemies.
Instead, light cavalry used armor that had a lighter weight and a small but quite long sword. Although their attacking and crushing power was not as great as heavy cavalry, they benefited with more flexible speed and mobility. That makes them easy to maneuver to mess up the enemy's wings.
Next is the infantry unit. The unit itself is divided into two parts. There are regular infantry units from Starfall units or volunteer units trained for three to six months. Their number is over 5000. They were equipped with a large shield and a spear, sword, arrow, or magic rifle.
But because the number of magic rifles themselves is limited, in the end they are separated and form their own squad named Riffleman squad 1st and 2nd. Each of them numbered 100 people.
The rest, they are medical teams that will serve in the back and front lines, then blacksmiths who will be assigned to repair weapons and other equipment that has been damaged, and others.
"We will bring 3000 troops to the capital via the highway route we have built. Winter has changed and the road is free. At most in two weeks, we'll be at Venz."

After discussing a few more strategies, the war council was finally finished. Tomorrow, troops will be dispatched and will likely meet Duke Conrad's forces within five days.
