Damian was wide-eyed, watching Luceila's body vanish from being devoured by Deimheim. My brain stopped working. His blood boiled to the top. Anger, frustration and despair engulfed him to the point of almost losing consciousness. Damian groaned loudly, angry at the beast that had snatched his fiancee before his own eyes.
The young man then rose to his feet, drew his sword high and pointed it at the predatory human monster that had flown towards him. Instantly, the night sky blazed, giving rise to the full moon that was previously covered in dark clouds.
The moon was flowing energy at Damian. The blade of his sword which was originally only an ordinary iron, suddenly glistened and shimmered bluishly in the moonlight. Just as he slapped his sword, a flash of blue light shot straight, splitting the gigantic Deimheim figure that was attacking him. The evil spirit was dissolved, disappearing like a pitch-black smoke.
Damian gasped, unaware of what had just happened to him. His feelings were so chaotic and angry. A girl had died in front of him. And that was his own fiancee. Damian still wants to fight, destroying more evil spirits that have preyed on humans. However, when he turned around, he realized that on the edge of the balcony, there was already a crowd of people who watched him quell evil spirits. The guests of the party looked gasped and frightened. Even the Brutus family also looked limp, slumped on the floor weeping for their daughter who had left.
Kutzo burst out from behind the crowd, then approached Damian with an unpredictable expression. “Let your sword down, and control the power,” muttered the young man Giyatsa as he lowered Damian's raised arm to draw the sword.
Damian's anger subsided, as the light on his sword also became dim. Damian faintly also realized that the light was not only the blade of his sword, but also his two eyes that shone bright blue light when he used the foreign power.
“What happened?” damian asked after being quite aware of the circumstances.
“Now, let's go in first,” said Kutzo then led Damian into the residence.
After the unfortunate incident, the supposed festive dance party has turned into a funeral procession without a body. Grief surrounds the Brutus family residence, and Damian automatically loses his fiancee.
Exactly ten days after the funeral, Damian finally returned to the capital Ponza. Kutzo accompanied her during the trip to avoid repeated bad events.
“It looks like you are quite devastated over the death of your fiancee,” Kutzo said opening the conversation. Both of them sat in the horse-drawn carriage. Kutzo took off his horse to be ridden by one of Damian's other bodyguards.
Damian took a long breath. “It's too ... terrible. I've never seen anyone die in such a horrible way. I will never be able to forget that incident,” Damian said as he looked out the window.
“And it should have been .. I died then. Luceila. He saved me by sacrificing himself,” Damian sounded bitter.
“She's a good girl,” comments Kutzo.
“No one has ever been willing to sacrifice himself for me. All this time people have only used me, approaching me only for a certain purpose. But now, when there is already a person who is so sincere in love with me .. I just have to lose him in this way,” wailed Damian long.
Kutzo could only take a deep breath. Comforting someone is not a talent. Even so, he still tried to make Damian feel better, especially since he was still very curious about Damian's ability some time ago. “People come and go in our lives, Castor. The most important thing is not to think about how others treat us, but to focus on not being affected by anything and becoming stronger,”.
