Spirit Energy

Spirit Energy
CHAPTER 9: The Regret

Jormac is further troubled by a series of events that Fisa cannot explain well. After all that happened, this obscurity began to undermine Jormac's belief in Fisa. Negative thoughts and doubts began to fill his mind, leading him to question whether the 1000x Nuclear Organization or Spirit Energy really existed, or whether Fisa was simply utilizing it like it had ever been in prison.

Now the two of them sat quietly in a small hut in the middle of the forest together. Jormac felt too scared to talk to Fisa after watching the woman kill so easily, even stealing things from the people he had killed. The atmosphere inside the hut was tense for Jormac.

Fisa tried to ask Jormac's condition, "Are you okay?" However, Jormac was silent, still feeling fear and not daring to look Fisa in the eye. The atmosphere inside the hut remained tense, and confusion and mistrust further disturbed Jormac's mind.

Then unexpectedly, Fisa looked at Jormac with an expression that was just as terrifying as before, making Jormac feel even more terrified. As she tried to look Fisa in the eyes, it felt like the gaze was breaking through the limits of her mind. Anxiety and mistrust increasingly filled Jormac's mind.

Suddenly, Fisa quickly pointed the gun at Jormac's head while muttering, "Come out!"

Jormac, who was still confused, asked about what Fisa had said, but Fisa refused to give an explanation. He threatens to kill Jormac right now, feeling that Jormac is useless.

Jormac felt like he was really at his lowest. Negative thoughts, fear, and panic enveloped him. He began to wonder if it was time to speak his last words. She felt that her life never brought happiness and that she often complained about everything.

As all those negative thoughts crept on him, suddenly, Jormac's mouth smiled and he laughed out of nowhere. It was an unexpected laugh, a laugh of freedom or perhaps a crazy laugh from someone who felt like he had lost everything. Fisa, who was also smiling faintly, saw this change sharply.

"This is what makes me not believe you, Jormac!" fisa said in a flat tone, revealing that he had been doubting Jormac all along.

"HAHAHA!!"

Jormac laughed very loudly, and in an instant, he threw a gun pointed at him with incredible speed. The weapon fell on the floor violently, creating a striking clinking sound within the hut.

Fisa said, "Finally come out too."

Jormac, who was still laughing, faced him with a sharp question, "What are you proud of the threatening result?"

Fisa smiled, "Somewhere are you the real ones, but your one-sided alter ego is terrible, so it would be better if you continue like this."

The two of them were still in a tense situation, but at least Jormac had managed to escape from the threat of Fisa.

Then Fisa explained calmly, "When I was watching you in prison, I knew a few things about you. Several times you seem to be holding back, when in your heart, you want to explode. The torture in that prison has made you sick of continuing to hold back, which is why I showed up to save you, lest you explode there."

He continued, "I want to see the other side of you, and I want to rule you unilaterally. Therefore, I kept making you feel depressed, bringing it to its lowest point, and bringing up your alter ego or the other side."

Fisa ended his explanation by saying, "All the tasks I command you are nothing but nonsense. Actually, I already know a few things about Spirit Energy and the 1000x Nuclear organization. However, in order to run my actions to find out more, I need a more useful companion."

"You know, Fisa, you're a selfish little girl, but I respect you for your honesty" Jormac said.

He continued, "I'll be honest with you about myself. My parents taught me to always do what I wanted and to get rid of everything that was in my way. But then, they got divorced for no reason I knew. I became very depressed and lived as an evil person for quite a long time."

Fisa listens seriously as Jormac begins to tell her about himself and his life journey.

Jormac recounted further, "However, one day, I met a girl who was angelic in nature, her name was Laura Sean. She was very kind to me, even though I was a bad person. I love him sincerely and decided to be a good person. Unfortunately, fate separated us. Laura was betrothed by her parents, and she agreed. In order to appreciate her decision, I decided to live as a good person and hope to find another angel besides Laura."

Fisa listened to Jormac's story carefully, and his face did not show any expression.

Jormac continued his story, "As an office clerk, I was excited at first. I wish I could find a girl like Laura here. But as time went on, my work piled up, and I didn't have time to look for that happiness. I ended up being a loner in the office, and started constantly complaining about my work."

He continued again in a slightly moody tone, "But, in reality, I continue to work there. I have lost my purpose in life and feel alone. My job is the only thing that makes me feel like I'm still there. Even though I complained, it was the way for me to survive."

Jormac finished his story with a sad expression on his face, contemplating the twisting course of his life.

Fisa heard many of Jormac's stories and looked at him intently. "So, do you regret it?" ask her seriously.

Jormac pondered for a moment before replying, "Initially no, but as time went on, I began to feel regret. Especially when I stop being the bad guy and try to live better."

Fisa nodded, understanding Jormac's feelings. "People can change, Jormac. And I see your efforts to get better. That's the first step toward recovery." Then Fisa says that Jormac has the same principle as himself, which is to get rid of the barrier no matter how.

Jormac agreed. "Right, we have something in common in that principle. But how we look at barriers and how we get rid of them can be different. I'm trying to do it without harming anyone else."

Fisa smiled faintly as she said, "I understand that, Jormac." Then he firmly revealed that this was the time where the enemy was unforgiving. Therefore, they must remain vigilant and firm against enemies that could potentially harm them.

Hearing Fisa's words, Jormac agreed firmly, and he decided to join Fisa in being resolute and unforgiving towards their enemies.

"Maybe I'll go back to my old self" Jormac thought.

The two of them sit inside a small hut in the middle of the forest, talking about a dark past and an attempt to open a new chapter in their mysterious lives.
