Spirit Energy

Spirit Energy
CHAPTER 1: False Accusations

Jormac Seil was sitting at a dull office desk, his eyes glued to his computer screen filled with meaningless numbers and graphics. This office, with its gray walls and neatly arranged tables, is its modern prison. As an ordinary office clerk, Jormac has been caught up in a monotonous and draining routine.

Although often overlooked, Jormac nevertheless complained about his strenuous work on his colleagues, who were also stuck in the same cycle. Every day, he felt like a bull tied in chains, forced to roll up documents and overlay reports with seemingly never-ending signatures.

"The world looks so ordinary" Jormac murmured to himself, his voice full of boredom. "There's nothing special here."

However, behind that boredom, something strange happened to Jormac. He began to feel like something was hidden, something unusual, lurking outside these sterile offices. While he tried to deny that feeling, his curiosity grew. There is a mystery buried, and Jormac begins to feel that he knows better than others.

Then Jormac walked home to his house on a dark night. The sky was covered in clouds and the stars were all hidden. The dark atmosphere of the night strengthened the drowsiness that had haunted Jormac ever since he left the office. Although today was the same day as the others, there was something different in the night wind.

Until finally, Jormac arrives at his doorstep, trying to find the key in his messy jacket pocket. Suddenly, two people dressed in police clothes approached him quickly. The dimly lit street lights illuminated their serious faces.

"Excuse me," said one of the police in a stern tone, "do you know anything about Spirit Energy?"

Jormac, who was suddenly approached by these two policemen, of course felt confused and a little panicked. He looked at them with wide-eyed eyes, trying to process the question. Not only that, he also felt exhausted because after working all day, his energy had been drained a lot.

"Sorry," said Jormac in a trembling voice, "I don't know anything."

However, instead of being satisfied with Jormac's answer, the policeman put on an angry face and said, "Don't lie! You must know something, so please explain it at the police station."

Jormac who was yelled at by the police was scared and panicked because he really did not understand why the police could be angry with him. His eyes moved quickly looking for a reason or a way to explain himself.

The two policemen got closer and held Jormac's arm firmly. They felt very confident that Jormac had important information about Spirit Energy. Jormac, however, felt that this was a big misunderstanding.

"Listen," said Jormac in a trembling voice, "i really don't know anything about Spirit Energy."

However, the policemen were not moved by Jormac's words. They looked at him with suspicion and confusion. Tensions escalate as Jormac tries to break free from their clutches. When he rebelled, the two policemen pushed him back.

"Don't bother us!" one of the police said loudly.

However, instead of giving up, Jormac continued to fight. He knew that he was innocent, and did not want to be detained for no apparent reason. They struggled for a moment in the tense crowd.

A few hours later, Jormac awoke with a strange feeling. His eyes slowly opened, and as consciousness began to return, he realized that he was not at the police station. The neighborhood looked like a police station, but there was something strange. The people he saw were not wearing police uniforms; instead, they looked like ordinary people looking at him with sharp gazes.

An unknown man sat in front of him, looking at him with a piercing gaze. The two of them sat in a room that was like an interrogation room, with one table between them. Jormac felt his chest feel tight, and he felt an indescribable discomfort.

"You awake?" asked the man in a cold tone, as if he had been waiting for this patiently.

Jormac who felt bound and confused, asked tremblingly, "Where am I? Why am I tied up like this?!"

However, the man was silent, his gaze unchanged. A moment after Jormac asked, suddenly the man raised his right hand quickly and held Jormac's head, then threw him at the table. A sudden feeling of pain struck Jormac, and he felt a loss of control over the situation.

The man spoke in an angry voice, "Don't ask back, damn it!". Then the man looked at Jormac loudly, "Tell me everything you know!" he said with an urgent tone.

Jormac was still feeling confused, the pain in his head had not subsided, and the world around him felt increasingly unreasonable. He tried to speak, but words stuck in his throat. He just fell silent, his eyes trying to process everything that had happened since he was woken up in this place.

Everything he had experienced so far was so unreasonable. Why was he in the interrogation room with people who weren't police? Why would they want to know about Spirit Energy? And why did they abuse him?

But the biggest question is, why is he, an ordinary office employee, involved in all this? Jormac continued to ponder, trying to recall what might explain the situation. But his mind was still swirling in confusion, and he did not yet have any answers.

Meanwhile, the man was still staring at him with a thin patience, waiting for an answer that never came.

The man frowned in frustration as Jormac gave no answer. "Can't answer, can you?" he said with a cynical tone. However, Jormac remained silent, pondering in his deep confusion.

The man eventually lost his patience. He nodded his head at one of his subordinates with a gesture, telling him to take action. The subordinate carefully approached Jormac, pulled him from the chair, and dragged him out of the interrogation room.

Jormac was shocked and panicked. He tried to shout that he was innocent and knew nothing, but his words were lost in a frenzy. Several other captives in the halls of the prison saw sharply as Jormac, still confused and angry, was dragged into the cell.

The heavy iron door locked tightly behind him, and he heard the sound of snide laughter from the other prisoners. Jormac now felt like he was trapped in a real nightmare, and his confusion deepened. He had no idea what was really going on, why he was being interrogated, or why he was suddenly imprisoned along with the other prisoners.
