Lily kept rubbing David's back full of patience. She sighed before lying down next to her husband.


His hand rubbed David's back, while his eyes looked at David who closed his eyes.


David becomes very spoiled due to his wife's pregnancy. Often drunk, easily badmood by small things to other problems.


When he looked at his beloved heart, there was the sound of the door opening.


"Mommy?"


"Thea? Come here, Darling," said Lily spread her arms. "What did you bring?"


"Tea hangal for Daddy."


"Eum…. Mommy's beautiful child," said Lily moved. "Save it here, honey. Daddy's asleep, wanna lie down?"


Athena nodded, she joined in the middle. While on his stomach, his eyes looked at his father's sleeping face.


"Is Daddy sick with bayina, Mom?"


"No, Honey. Daddy's just exhausted."


Athena turned to look at Lily.


"Where's Ares?"


"With Koh Chen and Oma. Alesna play."


"Why did you come here? Not playing there?"

That's when David opened his eyes, he rubbed Athena's hair which made her look up. "Daddy, ale you okay?"


"Fine father, Princess. What is Koh Chen doing? Why are you here?"

David feels bad for the in-laws, he is self-occupied which makes Lily worried. "Where are you going?"


"I'm fine, honey. I'm going out."


"Aren't you dizzy?" Lily asked considering that Holland even helped carry David who was almost unsteady.


David's stout, tall body made no one to hold him. Regardless, David upholds his pride in front of his son.


"Better sleep again, you haven't recovered yet."


"Darling, I'm no ordinary man" David stood up, picking up his shirt on the walk in closet. "I am a strong and powerful man. Don't forget I made the twins."


"What's Daddy doing, Mom?"


Lily cleared her throat gesturing for David to further filter the speech. There's his son here.


David chuckled, he crouched down in front of Athena. "Daddy was telling Mommy that Daddy's an invincible super-man."


"Leally?"


"Yes, a handsome man doesn't fall easily, Darling," said David, taking his daughter into a sling and standing up. 


"Yourf…." Athena scolded. "Lucky Ales ugly."


"Gosh my god." David murmuring. "You going there, honey?"


Lily nodded. "I'll catch up later."


"Daddy wait!"


"Yes, Darling?"


"Thea brought hangal tea."


"Geez, my beautiful daughter" said David, giving a kiss on her cheek.


Before going out, David sipped the tea his daughter brought. He came out holding Athena. Seeing Oma busy with Ares in the kitchen, David approaches them first. "Why are you here? Where is Mr Chen?"


"In that room, Oma was making a snack. Are you still nauseous?"


"It's not."


"It's good to see you suffer" whispered Oma afraid to be heard.


David turned a lazy eyeball, he dropped Athena. "Wait here, baby. Daddy's going to see Koh Chen first."


"Yes, Daddy."


After seeing his daughter join Oma, David stepped closer to Mr. Chen.


"I'm sorry for the unwanted incident."


"Just relax, I'm fine."


David sat there. "Are you sure you're going home tomorrow?"


"Yes, and thank you for setting up a private jet for me. But I can't ride it."


"Do you still feel bad? Lily has forgiven and accepted you."


Mr. Chen just smiled. Mr. Chen's real Chinese face is the answer to why Lily is so beautiful with her narrow eyes.


"I can't forgive myself."


"Then I'm quick to do that, there's a lot of things my wife wants to do with her family, her parents."


Mr. Chen looked at David. "With you looking after my daughter, it's enough for me to start forgiving myself. So I beg you, never let go of his hand."

Lily nodded. "Next time with Mom."


Master Chen smiled, he rubbed his daughter's cheek. "Don't worry."


"Are you sure you don't need to be delivered? Nina has an empty schedule."


"No. Pack up, I know you'll be gone in two hours."


In Lily's doorway, they parted ways. Mr. Chen walked towards the taxi he had ordered.


Lily's tears trickled down as she remembered Mr. Chen bringing her lots of Chinese food for her.


Seeing his wife crying, David and the children hugged Lily. Makes the woman laugh. "Okay, let's get ready for the airport."


"Dont cry, Mommy," said Aron. "Ares will be good for Mommy to smile."


"Okay, get ready now."


The suitcase began to be put in the car. 


"We're going to Oma's house first?"


"Yes, on the way to the airport, baby," said David. "Hey kids! Come inside!"


The boy ran straight into the car. 


When Lily was about to enter, there was a commotion at the front gate. And how surprised Lily saw the figure of Dena running towards them.


David immediately gestured for the guards to shut up and watch. She approached followed Lily from behind silently silent.


"What's Mama doing here? How did Mama get here?"


"That's what you said after you locked me up?!" Shouted Dena. "Because of that woman?!"


That's when David realized Lily was behind him. "Darling, get in the car."


"No," Lily refused. "I need to know why you hate me so much? Even after I gave birth to David's son?"


"Your blood remains poor, it won't change anything! You're the reason David's away from me! He's been ignoring me."


"You threw me out first, Mama. You're going with another man."


Dena laughed in disbelief. "Okay, the decision is in your hands. Choose Mama or the poor?"


David stared in disbelief. "Mama, please wake up. Don't let me make things you don't want anymore."


"Pick Mama or the poor?!"


David knew Dena would never change. So he decided, "Take Miss Dena back to America, she must have run away. Do strict guard in bright light, do not set foot in this country again."


"Good, Sir."


"It's all because of you!"


The guards were immediately on standby as Dena was about to attack Lily. "It's all because of you, poor!"


David immediately brought his wife who was shedding tears. He clasped his wife's hand and said, "You're not the cause, honey. And I'm not letting go of this hand."
