"God…." Lily wiped her tears, she let go of her embrace and moved away. "Sorry, I'm too happy to see you, brother."

"It's okay."

"Nothing is okay." David approached, he pulled Lily's waist up and shifted towards her. "Nobody should touch my wife, close to her less than a meter should not."

Radit was shocked to hear the new boss's words. He immediately lowered his head and hid a surprised face. "Sorry, sir, I don't know if Tina is your wife."

Lily who disliked David did that, nudged her stomach slowly with an elbow.

"Come in, brother. You're gonna take the file from David instead."

"He won't come in."

"David…"

And that's when David sees the other side of Lily that he's never seen before. It was as if this man in front was very important to him. Even Lily who was previously indifferent and much according to it now turned somewhat disputing, even though it was actually not an outrageous request.

"Let him in, yeah. Come on…"

David also had to resolve his curiosity, he finally allowed it. "Come in, and stay away from my wife."

"Thank you, sir."

Lily smiled widely and let out her small laugh. "You've had dinner, brother? I'm making spinach soup, you're gonna love it."

Radit got the offer instead smiled stiffly, he was not good with David and was also rather scared. "No need, Tina."

"It's okay, Tina."

"Tina's? Why do you call my wife that name?" David asked with a heavy voice. "Call him according to my office."

"Sorry, Sir. I'm sorry, Madam."

"David.." said Lily slowly. "Tina was taken from my long name, which is Kristina. Remember?"

"I don't like it."

"Aren't you going to give him the file, David?"

David reluctantly moves on, he does not want to lose the supervision of his wife from Radit who turns out to be his new secretary.

"I've come to retrieve the file you mean."

"Ah, File it." Lily looked at David. "He asked for the file, David."

"I'll take it with me" said David, standing glazed over with a glare at Radit.

Making the man more silent and lowered his head when he got a terrible look. Especially when David went to the second floor, Radit did not want to get into trouble.

"Sister Radit, where have you been?"

"I'm in Jakarta with my new family, Tina. They won't let me go see you at the parlour."

"I heard you went to school abroad?"

"Yes." Yeah." Radit laughed blandly. "I went to school in Canada, ma'am."

"Sister. Come on, don't call me that."

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Radit looked at Lily and said, "I didn't expect you to be married, Tina."

"Yes.." Lily hesitated a little. "I'm married."

"You married my boss."

Lily nodded.

"Your age is nineteen."

Lily nodded back. "Everything goes so fast."

"I didn't expect this, the little sister I loved to be my master."

"I'm still your little sister, brother. Why are you saying that?" Lily doesn't like it. "Oh, yeah. I made brownies.

"No. u…." Radit did not continue his words because Lily first moved.

He returned with a tray of water and brownies. "Try, Brother. It's delicious, you used to love my cake."

Radit smiled, he bribed it. "It's so delicious, Tina. You're still the same as you used to be."

Lily smiled happily.

"I need to hear your story and your logical reasoning is not to look at the parlour anymore."

"Oh, I also need your explanation with your status."

"I'm obviously married."

Radit rubbed his lips with a tissue. "Hows it? You guys in love?"

Hearing Radit's teasing tone, Lily laughed. "Stop getting sucked up, not like that. Everything went fast, I married her just like that."

"This is what you have to do to replace me."

Lily looked in surprise. "David…"

"Now get out, do that. Tomorrow morning I want all the data from here." David touches the stacked file, then holds the flash disc. "Move over here."

"Good, Sir." Radit calmly replied.

And Lily can't do anything when her husband drives Radit away.

While dinner was being served, Lily went back to silence and argued with her own head. David, who saw that, stepped into the kitchen to talk to his wife.

While Lily was still busy with her unfinished cooking.

"I need an explanation, Lily."

"So soon, it's going to ripen in a little while," said Lily lifting a small pot and then putting it on the table. "Let's eat."

What David does not like, Lily looks cheerful with Radit, but with her Lily looks cute and bodo period. In hindsight, Lily rarely laughed with him. Lily blushed more quietly in embarrassment than laughing like that.

"I want to talk."

Lily sat on the chair opposite David, she looked at the man for a moment before picking up rice for David.

"About Radit's sister?"

David chuckles. "You're so smart."

Lily took her breath hearing David's heavy voice. "I used to live in the same orphanage, until Radit was adopted by a wealthy family and we were separated."

"Like drama" David muttered cynically.

Lily remained on her patience, ignoring David who was staring and playing the rice on her plate.

"I used to be teased by other kids because they were short, they called me a dwarf. No one wants to accompany me because I'm ugly, only Radit's sister. Once upon a time, all of us girls were cleaning the back pond. Another child left me with a lot of work. I fell into the pool, unable to swim at all. Until finally Brother Radit saved me and scolded the other children violently. And that got her a nun's punishment."

David silently listened.

"I think of him as my older brother, the one who often protected me. Until he left and didn't come back then. When he left, my position was delivering Easter cake to the house around. I cried because I felt alone, so when I met him again I was very excited. He's done a fortune in my life….."

".... He said that life is made simple and easy. If anyone is underestimating, let it go. That's his business with God. If denigrated, in caci and maki, let it be. In fact, God glorified his creation. He taught me that lesson."

And after Lily said that, David was silent a thousand words.

"I'm leaving" said David walking to the second floor leaving Lily.

"David, where are you going? David!" Lily caught up quickly, she climbed up the stairs towards their room

And there he found David dressed to leave.

"David, where are you going?"

"Take me off, Lily."

"Where are you going?"

David stomped Lily's hand slowly, still in consciousness. "I'm going to fire him."

"What's? He's not wrong."

"You know what, honey? The past is a bridge to a bleak future. I don't want my life to be so grim with it."

"You can't fire him just because he knows me."

"Of course I can, I'm the richest man in Asia" said David, proud of himself, wearing his coat.

"Alright, fire him, but don't go. Just stay here."

"I have to go to his house."

"David, it's night."

"I have to take back our marriage certificate" David said in one breath.

Lily is confused. "What?"

"Yes, in the file I gave him is our marriage certificate. I tucked it away to let her know that our marriage was real."

Lily couldn't say a word, how could David do that. 

"I'm going to go."

"All right."
