Lily frowned as the one present in this church was just Marilyn, a priest, three priestesses and two men in suits sitting there smilingly holding back a laugh. Lily felt…. This is a joke. What kind of marriage is this? Why does David look so calm and relaxed. He said take care of everything? Is this the marriage level of someone as rich as David?


When the pastor preached, Lily just lowered her head reluctantly to look at the bead of David in front of her. Until they exchange rings, then say a sacred promise, Lily is nervous when she gets her share.


He swallowed his saliva roughly. "I Lily Kristiana accept you David Fernandez as husband, in good health and in sickness, in pleasure and hardship until death do you part. Witnessed by the holy spirit, I say this sacred promise to you."


And David grinned for some reason after Lily said that, especially when the pastor allowed David to kiss her. Lily gulped roughly, she shook her head faintly, which she believed the trunks were captured by David.


Because in fact, David still came to kiss Lily's lips. Making the woman close her eyes nervously, until she felt a chewy object touch her lips. 


Just a split second, until David finally whispered, "Start doing your duty as a wife."

"I'm Lily" he said kindly and replied to the hand.


"And this is David's best friend too, his name is Luke."


"I'm Luke."


"Lilly."


Sebastian inhaled a deep breath of air and held back a laugh watching David embrace Lily's waist. "By the way, there's not much I give as a gift, just a vacation package to Phuket for you guys."


Lily looked at David, looking at the man who was just staring flat at his best friend. Lily immediately said, "Thank you."


"And me, I can only give you guys something herbal. That's the best milk from Belgium to fertilize you both."


David kicked Luke's leg. "Aw! That hurts, Goddamn it!"


"Sorry, Lily, we are like this" Sebastian said. 


"It's okay."


"Go away, we have to go" said David pulling Lily's hand away from there. Makes Luke and Sebastian laugh so far away.


And Lily, she had to step wide when David brought her a quick walk. "Can you slow down? My feet hurt."


Instantly David stopped, making Lily who was looking down hit her body. "God…."


"Do you want me to carry it again?"


"Ti..no."


"Walk quickly, you need to see Oma."


"Oma?"


David took Lily back in. "Who's Oma?"


"He's my Grandma."


"Why didn't you invite her?"


"He's sick."


"Sorry," muttered Lily. "I want a detailed explanation from you, about why you ha-"


"Shut up and come in, you're noisy like a cockroach."


Lily opened her mouth in disbelief, she wanted to spout out her anger.


David opened the car door where there was a driver. "Come in."


"What about you?"


"I'll get back to work."


"After our wedding?"


"What do you want? Honeymoon with a sigh?"


"A--what?" Lily clenched her open mouth again. "Alright, be careful on the road."


"What?"


"You heard me, Lily."


He gave it away, and unexpectedly, David stepped on it until it crumbled.


"What are you doing?!"


His burly hands hold Lily back from getting out of the car. "You're now the wife of David Fernandez, you can't relate to just anyone, including your fellow cleaners. Besides, I'm gonna replace your phone with a more branded one, yours is ugly."


"Although this is ugly there's a lot of contact from where I grew up, David!" A truly angry Lily tried to hold back her emotions, she took a deep breath then said softly, "There's a lot of important contact there."


"You know I'm the richest businessman in Asia, I can do anything, including finding contacts from insignificant people like you."

When the meeting was over and the laptop folded back automatically and then fused with the table, David only realized that many eyes were staring at his ring finger. "I just got married to a woman who works as a cleaning service here."


Instantly the stock elder who was dominated by the old man nodded in understanding.


And before one of them spoke, David interrupted immediately, "If you want to send a gift, just send it to my house. Thanks for not coming. Today's meeting, I'll end."


They all stood up until David finally came out of the meeting room.


David rubbed his face rough, narrowing his eyes to find Sebastian and Luke there.


"Can you go off the face of the earth?"


Luke who was closing his eyes while sleeping on the sofa shook his head. "You should be thanking me, a media mogul who got your marriage buried."


Sebastian agreed. "So your shares don't go down."


"Shut up and go," said David loosening the tie, sitting at his workplace. "Get out."


"Come on, David, why are you angry? Don't you like short women. Isn't that right, Luke?"


"Yes, cute and small. Haha."


"Do you need a device for the first night?"


David, who was interested in his friend's conversation, started lighting a cigarette. "You think I'm gonna fuck her?"


"Then what are you gonna do to him?"


"Let her take care of Oma."


"Oh, is Oma okay?" Ask Luke.


"He's getting better."


"David, are you going to stay home?"


"No, I'll stay in the apartment. Just going home for a little while."


Sebastian nodded in confidence. "Then? How long will he be his wife?"


"Until the contract ends. I guess."


"You don't want to last long with her?"


David terekih's. "With that cleaning lady?"


"Maybe you have to have children" Luke chirped at David.


"I won't do it."


"Why not?"


"Why do you think? I'm just fulfilling your punishment and your challenge. Once the contract is over, I'll divorce her."


Sebastian asked, "Don't want to benefit from it?"


"Oh of course yes." David grinned.
