Ares is not a jerk who just leaves a woman behind, even though he is desperate to get out of here. Ares knew how to treat women in courtesy especially in public places, there was no way she would leave Laura here alone. Especially the party is going on.


His eyes looked at Laura who was shrinking her body to the beat of music. Which makes him also occasionally look at Ares and try to invite the man to come do the same thing with him.


And Ares just shook his head as a sign he was not interested, Ares left the room as his phone rang.


That right made Laura stop her dance, she approached her cousin sister. "Sister! He's not interested in me! How'this? He didn't even see this beautiful body of mine."

Inevitably, Laura finally left from there following Ares who was outside the room; being in the corridor between the VVIP rooms. It was she who called and ended it as Laura approached her.

However, Ares must really go home.  So he nodded. "I'm sorry, my Mommy told me to go home."

"It would be scary if I was a neighbor's child, hahahahaha," said Ares laughing himself as he descended into the basement.


Laura was just speechless, her sense of humor with Ares was completely opposite. He wanted a man who was elegant and sacrificed for him. But Laura gets it more often than men who are mature.


"Thank you for tonight, Ares."

"Um.. aren't you curious?" Ask Laura.


Both were in the car on their way home. 


"What wonder?"


"I know and know about clubs and bars?"

"But you didn't look surprised earlier."

Ares did not listen to the continuation of Laura's words, he was busy at the petite figure he recognized was walking on the dark side of the road.

"Uh, the hobbit" said Ares immediately pulled over his car.

Ares did not stop scolding Cantika because she went home alone. When Cantika told him the truth, Ares was furious. He did not think out, what if there was someone who intended to kidnap him and make him disappear.


"Never forget my cell phone number. You can borrow people's phones and say my number. Let's say it one more time" said Ares with great emphasis.


Cantika sighed, then went back to saying the number Ares had just memorized a few minutes earlier.


While Laura who was beside Ares was feeling uneasy, annoyed with Ares who continued to pay attention to Cantika. "That's it, Ares, he understood. She's an adult anyway."


Ares was silent, for some reason he got this angry. He was afraid something might happen to Cantika.


Therefore, for the rest of the journey, Ares was silent. Ignoring Laura's calls and Cantika's lack of support.


"What if next time we walk again?"


Ares did not answer. 


"Ares, you heard me, right?"


"Sorry, I'm upset."


Laura clucking. "You hear that Cantika? You're pissing my man off."


Cantika who was sitting on the back bench just lowered her head and sighed deeply. He was confused as to why Ares got this angry.


Once at the destination, Cantika came out first. "Sorry, Ares. And thanks for the ride."


"Yes, leave immediately" said Laura.


Cantika nodded, then left the two men in the car.


Laura cleared her throat, she tried to melt the atmosphere. "Ares?"


"I'm sorry, I can't see you anymore" said Ares, who spoke after trying to understand himself.


"What's? Why?"


"I realize I don't love you. It's just curiosity. I'm sorry, what I really love is Cantika" he said with confidence.
