David looked at Lily who was playing the food in front of him. The man sighed in seeing the wife continue to bend his gaze while holding something back.

His hand even avoided David from touching him.
"Let's eat, didn't you prepare this for me? Come eat with me. Don't play your food like that" David said gently.
But Lily kept her tears in her eyes while looking down. David did not mention her pregnancy, which made Lily misunderstand and think her husband really did not want their baby.

"Baby in my womb? You really said that?" Lily asked, looking into her husband's eyes.
"Honey..," said David who saw his wife's tears welled up. "I don't mean to say anything, lose what's on your mind."
"You don't want it, do you?" Lily asked and then walked away.
David was there, hungry and alone. But now is not a good time to eat.
David sighed deeply and walked up to Lily.
"Daddy?"
"Yes, Honey?" David looked down at Athena.

"For what?"
"Foiling the badge, Mommy."
"That's okay, Baby. Mommy's fine."
"So Mommy was crying."
"Mommy was just a flicker, honey," said David stroking Athena's head affectionately. "Daddy will take Mommy out, is it okay here with Nanny?"
Athena nodded. "As long as Mommy comes home with a smile again."
"Of course, honey. Now sleep okay."
Athena returned to her room next to Ares.
David followed his wife to the room. "Darling….."
"You don't want it, do you?"

David just took a deep breath. "Let's eat out."

Oma was silent for a moment, she squinted her eyes feeling like she was arguing with herself.
"You should have fallen asleep."
"But Ares is thirsty and wants to eat ice cream."
"Gosh, this is why you were when your parents came out, right?"
