When packing home, Lily was still pouting and only asked when necessary. It made David unable to dwell, he lost too far his wife.
Maybe because of the inner bond, Lily seemed to know what was wrong at that time.
"Honey..," said David approached and hugged Lily from behind. "I miss you."
Lily did not say much, she kept folding her clothes. She didn't even pay attention to her husband David.
"Darling?"
"I'm packing, let go first."
"Are you still angry?" David asked still not letting go of his embrace. "I'm sorry, honey….."
"I'm not angry" Lily took off David's arm in her belly and stepped in to put the clothes in her suitcase. "I'm just upset."
David scratched his head that was not itching. The world of marriage is not as easy to talk about if one of them is not open. And he regretted his attitude like that. "Darling....., how about we get together while the kids are sleeping?"
Lily was silent for a moment, she sighed and turned to look at her husband. Lily also wanted her feelings to be much better. "Roadway?"
"Yes, by the lake?"
Lily nodded, making David immediately bring a sweater for his wife. And he subtly said, "Wear this, so that our child will not be cold."
And after putting the warm clothes on his wife, David gave a kiss on the forehead long enough.
"Let the waiters clean this up. We just walk."
Lily nodded.
David clasped his wife's hand, and took her out of the inn.
Stepping through the night wind, they'll be home tomorrow. And David has not carried out the schedule alone and also visited his future son in the stomach.
Several times as they stepped, David kissed his wife's hand which he held. "I love you so much."
"How's your sister doing?" Lily asked slowly, she wanted to open the conversation about Dena's death.
"They'll be fine, George will take care of it. I'll send him money every month."
"I think you should schedule to come every time to them."
David frowned. "Should it?"
"David. "Some people don't need treasure to be happy, but attention. Maybe it'd be very good if we came if one of them was a birthday."
David nodded his head. "I think that's a good idea, but they're a lot, honey."
"You have another option?"
"Yes, we come once every three months. I think it's enough to adjust our kid's vacation."
"How about...," said Lily hanging when going to ask Dena's current husband.
David smiled looking at his wife who was very good at keeping his feelings in check. "That's her boyfriend, not her husband. My mother was only married to my father. The man ran away somewhere, left six kids."
"Wow, that's quite a lot."
David nodded. "I didn't understand what Mama was thinking until she chose to end her life."
This is what David likes about Lily, she's always been a sedative in every way. "I'm sorry I let you down."
"It's okay, don't do it again."
David nodded, he pulled his wife into his arms.
Lily rubbed her husband's back. "Do your best. You feel how you grew up without mom and dad, don't let your sister feel it. Have mercy on them, love them. They have no one but us."

Until late at night, Lily and David were still alone staring at the lake with the full moon on it.
They were sitting in a chair staring at people across a lake full of night markets.
"Did the child make things difficult for you?"
"They were with me when you weren't around."
David kissed the top of his wife's head. "You sure you're going home tomorrow?"
"I know you've got a lot of work to do, David. This lake is so beautiful, thank you."
"If you weren't pregnant, I'd like to take you for a swim, baby," David said.
Makes Lily complain. "Is that a problem?"
"Well...., I'm planning something romantic."
Understanding her husband's intentions, Lily chose silence after gulping her saliva roughly.
"We haven't bought by for Oma, dear."
"I bought it."
"Really?" David asked in surprise.
"Yes, so we can be alone tonight."
"I can't be alone with my kids. They're still mad at me."
Lily smiled. "They'll be fine and forget everything tomorrow."
"I hope so. The day after me and Sebastian had a project together."
"Bas?" Lily asked in wonder. "He's going to Indonesia?"
"He'll come back here and stay here. Where to keep him in America."
"What's really going on in America?"
David smiled meaningfully remembering his friend. "Do you know, honey?"
"What?"
"Sebastian's ex-lover is now his stepmother. That's what made him distrust women and live only for pleasure."
