His father took him right to the school gate. Claude limped into the classroom and sat down carefully, swinging his legs under the table awkwardly. He was swamped by his classmates as his butt hit the chair. Everyone had seen the crocodile the night before, and its legs and crutches matched the image of the wounded and weary soldier.

Her face was tomato red all the time. He would have kowtowed to the teacher when he chased everyone back to their seats if not for his feet. He wasn't too happy that everyone was praising him rather than helping him. He had never used an armpit stick before, and it was not helped by the fact that it was too big for him.

She had just fallen asleep when her three friends burst into the classroom, out of breath.

"We're waiting for you at your house! Why didn't you ask him to give us a ride as well? We have to run here!" Welikro immediately complained, glancing at the teacher with an apologetic look.

"You're supposed to be waiting for me at school!" Claude cried out in despair.

"Do you sell crocodiles?" Claude asked while the teacher busied himself preparing the material.

"Yes .." said Borkal sadly.

"What's wrong?"

The crocodile was supposed to leave at a good price, so why was he so sour?

"Sir Fux bought it for four crowns" Eriksson said.

That's a huge amount of money! Claude shouted in his head.

Borkal snorted and his shoulders drooped.

"We should be able to get a better price again, no one will cross Sir Fux. If we auction in Baromiss we can get ten crowns or more! The skin itself can be up to eight crowns! "

He would put the crocodiles up for auction with a starting price of just ten thales. He was sure the price would bargain at a good price, but then Sir Fux showed up and proposed only four crowns and no one would bid him.

The four crowns sounded incredible, but when he heard what was truly precious, he almost cried blood.

Borkal has been robbed except for the name. He hates a man named Fux for exploiting his power against the helpless and bullying everyone into giving him what he wants. Shit, that's not fair! He had spent the entire night cursing the entire Fux bloodline for Nubissia and returned several times.

He hoped the experience would teach Borkal a valuable lesson, perhaps even giving him a pause the next time he decided to beat up another child, even though he would not hold his breath.

Eriksson insisted that the elites of the entire city were also to blame. They all knew how valuable the crocodile was, but no one defended the children. They instead took the opportunity to butter the man with praise. The only consolation of the four boys was that the entire city knew who had killed the crocodile and how before Sir Fux took it, it was, so he would not be able to claim that glory for himself either.

The townspeople reasoned that the purchase was also a big step for the children, as everyone who came to visit would hear their stories when they saw the reptile doll, and Sir Fux often gets famous visitors.

"Ptoey! I don't want his house to be where people hear our stories!" Welikro spat furiously.

Claude agreed secretly. He knew very well the trap of 'exposure'. He saw too many writers or artists squeezing his work for peanuts because 'it would be a good exposure'. Exposure means nothing if it doesn't make money.

None of them could do anything, not even their four fathers could. Father Hell, Claude, and Borkal were both there, and they were just like butter like all the others!

"OK, enough. We can't do anything about it, so contemplating it won't do us any good. How do all the others sell?" Claude asked as he watched the teacher shift agitatedly.

"Not bad. Pjard bought three******, a turkey, and half of the fish. He paid thale and three riya" Eriksson said.

"What about the other five ducks?"

"I gave it to Kefnie," said Eriksson proudly, "We'll take care of you, Claude, don't worry."

Claude's aching mouth almost fell completely.

"Why?"

"It was you who invited them. Don't worry, I know you tried to show off. I didn't disappoint you. Kefnie has a crush on you, so of course we'll help you. I also made sure to advise her sister, you have a crush on Kefnie. He said he had no problem with you seducing his sister. "

"I ... I ..." Claude wanted to cry.

She only helped the girl out because her ex liked her. She has no romantic interest in him at all. But now his friends have trapped him.

"You saw her sister yesterday, huh? Hehe ... I told you he's cool!" Eriksson whispered excitedly.

"fucking off!" Shouted Claude, pushing the boy away, "Teacher will start classes soon!"
