The Bodyguard's

The Bodyguard's
Dark Side's

The night is creeping. Miabella, exhausted from serving Carlo twice, had fallen asleep under the covers in her back position. Carlo suddenly opened his eyes, as he felt unnatural movements and sounds outside the cottage.

Carlo then grabbed the phone. It was only about two in the morning. The handsome man further sharpens his sense of hearing and also his instinct. A moment later, Carlo pulled up the blanket and got out of bed and got dressed.

A moment later, the leader of the Red Wolf Clan walked to the window. He just wanted to make sure that it was locked up. For a moment, the man was glued to his place. Carlo is testing how strong his instinct has always been to analyze something.

Carlo turned to Miabella who was still asleep. His voice was very serious looking at the brown-haired beauty. A heavy sigh also slid from his lips that adorned with a thin mustache.

Carefully, the youngest son of the late Nikolai Volkov stepped near the door. Slowly, he turned his handle after opening the lock first. The door opened without making any sound. Carlo then locked it from the outside, so that no one would enter when he was not in the cottage.

While sneaking around, the handsome guy with a sturdy posture had come out from the area around the place earlier. That was when, in the dimness of the night he saw the silhouette of two people with no much different postures from him. It is certain that both men are not women.

Carlo quickly followed the black shadow, which immediately escaped when he noticed his presence there. The two strangers ran towards near the lake among the quite lush trees.

Immediately, Carlo reached into the gun tucked behind his waist. He also took out a small flashlight from his pants pocket, then placed it inside his mouth. Carlo came running after the two black shadows until he arrived at the edge of the lake.

Unfortunately, the blue-eyed man lost track of the mysterious figures he was chasing. He then directed the flashlight around by keeping an alert attitude. However, there was no sign of life around him. He decided to go back to the cottage.

Carlo thought that he could not leave Miabella alone for too long. Moreover, the girl fell asleep in a state of not wearing clothes at all. However, just a few steps away, Carlo felt a gust of wind slowly moving from the back of the body.

He spontaneously ducked and turned around, pulling the trigger of the gun he was still holding. One bullet ejected from his shell. The hot lead pointed right at the neck of a man who was swinging a baseball bat and was about to hit from behind.

The bullet ripped a muscle and penetrated the back of the neck. The baseball bat was released from the grasp of the man who is now lifeless again. The object fell near Carlo's feet, along with the figure that collapsed onto the ground where there was a lot of dry leaves.

Carlo immediately leaned over to grab the baseball bat. He then made it a weapon. However, when the man was about to get up, his tail caught something sparkling when exposed to the flashlight. Full of vigilance, the leader of the Red Wolf Clan drew closer to the lifeless corpse. He saw a circle-shaped pin with a picture of a gun and a sword in the middle. The object was embedded in the left chest of the man's shirt which had become a corpse.

Carlo then slipped the weapon, then pointed the flashlight that was in his bite right at the pin that turned out to be made of silver. Very carefully, he took off the pin and pocketed it. The leader of the Red Wolf Clan then stood up. His eyes swept around for one more time. Carlo looked for the possibility that someone else was still watching him from somewhere.

“Halo! Where are you? Come out and tell me what you want right now!” maru Carlo in Russian. His voice sounded echoing, so loudly breaking the silence around the silent lake.

Carlo pressed the side of the knife so that a sharp part came out of his shell. He made a twisting motion while wielding a knife. His movements stopped when a small twig fell from the top.

Carlo looked up and found the shadow of a man hiding in one of the branches of a tree, among the leaves. He used an instinct that worked this time by closing his eyes. A moment later, the man who had been Adriano's favorite foster child threw his knife up with all his might. Shortly after, Carlo heard a thud not far from where he was standing.

The leader of the Red Wolf Clan opened his eyes, then saw a body lying down while groaning in pain near the tree. Still with an alert attitude, he approached the figure. Carlo saw that his folding knife had been stuck in the heart of a figure who turned out to be a man.

“Who are you?” He brought his face closer to the mysterious figure who was grimacing in pain earlier.

Instead of answering, the man smirked with blood that began to drip down his chin, as the man's mouth was already filled with fresh blood. “You have made a mistake, Karl Volkov,” he said in a very weak voice. “But you should not have killed Viktor Drozdov. He was just a puppet, and his master was still wandering around out there. That person is preparing to avenge his defeat caused by you,” said the stranger. His breathing was stingy, as if it was difficult for him to breathe oxygen.

“I've hollowed out your stomach. At least say something useful,” ledek Carlo.

“So there are two sides to life, Mr. Vol-kov,”. “Dark and te-rang,” said the man again while taking a slow breath, as the blood poured more and more from his mouth. “Nikolai Volkov could have received strong support from the bright side of the Russian government. However, the dark side of the government is also no less powerful than him,” continued the man.

While Carlo only scrunched his forehead a sign of not understanding. “Don't say much! Quickly tell me who sent you here!” snarl.

“The dark forces of the government will always support Viktor Drozdov. It is necessary to keep the balance and also ... keep the order ... lest the names of the officials who have cheated come to the surface, because .... it will be able to shake things up ...” The man's voice was slow and almost inaudible.

“Does that mean if corrupt officials are behind Viktor's power?” Carlo pulled the collar of the man's jacket that had been helpless earlier, until the man's body was lifted. However, the man never seemed to be able to answer Carlo's question.

“Damn it! He's dead!” Carlo clucked in annoyance. He just threw the lifeless body away. Soon the youngest son of the late Nikolai Volkov stood up and intended to return to the cottage. However, before the intent was accomplished, a few bullets were fired towards him.

It was fortunate that Carlo dodged, then hid behind a tree. Not wanting to stay silent, he returned fire earlier. At first glance, his blue eyes that seemed to light up in the darkness could catch a flash of light coming from the muzzle of the weapon. The glint came not far from where he was hiding. Unfortunately, however, the shooters took refuge behind a thick bush.

While Carlo didn't lose his mind. He kept his gun inside his waist for a while, then climbed up the tree he had made a hiding place. From the top of the tree, Carlo pulled out his gun and started aiming at someone behind the bushes.

Closing one eye, Carlo pulled the trigger until a bullet shot out faster than the speed of sound. The bullet hit the enemy's head. He's aiming once again. This time, Carlo aimed at the path he had gone on earlier. Looks like someone wearing a coat is running away from the lake area. With great concentration, Carlo pointed the tip of the weapon he was holding from the top of the tree. The target of the man this time he aimed right at the back of the coat figure earlier. Carlo then spewed his bullet more than once, until the figure collapsed motionless and lay on the rocky ground.
