"Is that my father's voice, Grigori?" carlo asked with an incredulous look. He stared at Grigori and Ivan in turn.
"Yes, Milord. You're absolutely right" said Grigori. While Ivan also nodded in agreement with the reply of the colleague.
Adriano seemed to be thinking seriously. Another with Coco who did not understand the contents of the voice recording earlier, because all of them use Russian. "Let's play another tape, Ricci," said Tigre Nero.
"It's a videotape tape, Amico," Coco said as she grabbed one last tape on the table. He observed, then flipped through the square object and looked different from the sound recording tapes that had been played before. Coco did just that for a while, until the father of three inserted the tape into a special black recording device. A tool that looks very old and antique.
On the screen that has been connected to the tool, there is a black and white image. The quality of the images that appear, is not as bright as the results of recordings today. However, for recording devices at that time, the object was among the best and also popular in Europe.
Look at a special room with interior and atmosphere typical '70s. Inside there, there was an elliptical-shaped table not too big. At the table earlier, had gathered some people who had sat with great dignity, where one of them was the figure of Nikolai Volkov.
"Yes, God. The great sir ...." Grigori and Ivan said the same thing. The two men were clearly unable to hide the feelings within them, when they looked back at the beloved lord. Everything felt so alive and as if it were real, even if only looking from the video recording.
"He is the master Nikolai Volkov" Grigori pointed to a man wearing a black coat and dark hair like Carlo. The man sat down dashingly and thoughtfully, looking one at a time at his other comrades.
"My father is very handsome" said Carlo. A smile was drawn on his lips that contained a thin beard and mustache. While the blue eyes of the head of the Red Wolf Clan, implied an inner upheaval that was difficult to express with a strand of words. Carlo seemed to touch the corner of his wet eyes. He didn't want to see how emotional he was, in front of all of them
"He is Piotr Rylov. I met and even greeted him when he met Mr. Nikolai here" Grigori pointed again at a blond man with Russian white skin.
"Then, which one is Roderyk Lenkov?" ask Carlo. The same thing Adriano had asked Grigori. The former adviser to Nikolai's trust also seemed to squint, seeing one by one the men who numbered about four at the meeting table.
"Roderyk wasn't there. But look at the empty chair. It's possible that he came late," Grigori thought.
What Grigori said earlier was indeed true. After a while, there appeared a well-built man with blond hair. The man's face is not yet clearly visible, because the position of the arrival of the man slightly turned his back on the camera. However, at first he was seen greeting all, including Nikolai who immediately embraced warmly. From the body language of the two men, it can be concluded that they do have a special closeness.
"Is he Roderyk Lenkov?" adriano asked without distracting himself from the screen.
"That's right, Mr. D'Angelo. I don't know how many times I've met him. When compared to Piotr Rylov, it feels like Mr. Nikolai is much more often talking with the man," explained Grogori again. "However, who would have thought it turned out that he was the same, even more ruthless than Viktor Drozdov."
Grigori became the last person to speak in the room, as soon as the atmosphere was silent as they refocused on the recording. There were several conversations in Russian, which was a warm conversation that opened the meeting between the six men in the recording they were watching. There is laughter and also a special joke.
"It seems, some of them are entrepreneurs" said Ivan who had not spoken at all.
"It's really Ivan. You see that guy who put his hands on that black fedora hat? He is Artyom Karavayev, a mining and petroleum businessman who is a business associate of Mr Nikolai," Grigori pointed to the man he was referring to.
"Ah yes. Now I remember who that man was" said Ivan.
They also returned silent and listened to the chatter in the video footage that had begun to allude to the problem of the declining economic situation and also the government's efforts to clean up from corrupt officials.
While Roderyk just smiled cynically. "I would never agree to any policy they have enacted on behalf of the progress of this country" the man firmly refused.
"Why do you have to be so upset, man? You are not one of the many corruptors that the government will be investigating" Artyom said calmly.
"Shut your mouth!" appoint Roderyk who took the man seriously.
"Is the grapevine I heard true?" ask Piotr. Like Nikolai and Artyom, he still showed a very calm attitude.
"About what?" ask Roderyk. The tone of the copper-haired brunette man, already did not sound as comfortable as before in the ears of the five comrades present there.
Seeing Roderyk's fiery attitude, Nikolai also tried to muffle. "Pacify yourself, my friend. We are here to negotiate. Isn't that what you mean by gathering us all together?" Nikolai looked meaningfully at his close friend. While Roderyk just plucked a rough breath.
Moments later, Nikolai, who had resigned from the military and government to replace his father in the organization, returned to his voice. "We heard that you were flirting with fascist groups, and had created an underground rebel organization funded by East Germany. I hope the grapevine that's circulating isn't right. After all, we have both fought for this country."
“What if what you hear is true?” Roderyk grinned widely, making the atmosphere in the room tense. “That's why I had a meeting with all of you in this place,”.
“What do you mean!” Piotr stood up from the chair while pounding the table. The man's gaze was fixed entirely on Roderyk.
“Aren't you aware that our president has made sweeping reforms? He will transform the system of government and the economy into a democratic and liberal system,” Redoryk said aloud. The man's intonation sounded very high.
“Isn't that good? I believe with the new policy, it can bring a positive wind on the Russian economy,” said Nikolai who still remained calm.
“Are you crazy, Nikolai!” furious Roderyk, one index finger leads right to the handsome face of the head of the Red Wolf Clan at that time.
“Fitness your mouth!” Piotr, who felt unacceptable to Roderyk's treatment of Nikolai, immediately stood up and straightened his index finger back at the man sitting across the table.
“I tell the truth! There is no greater success than the communist understanding that we have always held! No one can replace communism in the Soviet Union! Neither is your beloved president!” his jolt. Roderyk's voice echoed in every corner of the black space.
"That's why I offer cooperation with you guys,” said Roderyk again who suddenly slowed his tone while grinning a little. “Let's stop the president's attempt to overhaul the country's base. We roll back his power, then together restore the glory of the communist understanding,” he continued fiery.
“You mean ... You want to do a coup?” hiss Nikolai while squinting.
“Yes! That's what I was telling you. Then, you're Nikolai. You're the perfect candidate to help make my dream come true. Together, we will rule the Soviet Union and the world of course!” Roderyk broke down while stretching out his arms full of pride at the thought he had expressed earlier. "I'm with power in government, while you're with the Red Wolf organization that's sure to be increasingly fluttering its name on the European and worldwide scene." Roderyk laughed again.
"Then to you," pointed Redoryk at the others and was watching the man closely. "Who does not want to be king and can control the wheels of the economy? If I can become a true ruler, then everything will definitely become very easy."
