Carlo continued to follow the red dot that appeared on the surface of his watch screen. That point stopped right where he was crawling at this moment. The blue-eyed man looked up. Through the signal received earlier, he was able to estimate that Roderyk's room was above where he was.
While continuing to bite the black bag containing his clothes, Carlo moved following the vent hole passageway towards the top. He stopped at the end of the passageway which was covered by a barred iron door. Carlo then took a comfortable position by sitting cross-legged. Saying outside the vent, Carlo overhears a conversation between two people in Italian.
“Where did you get that little thing?” ask a man Carlo thinks belongs to Roderyk Lenkov.
“I don't know, Sir. I only brought these clean sheets from laundry,” replied a woman whom Carlo remembered as Adelaide's voice.
“Who works in laundry at the current hour?” Roderyk asked one more question. His voice sounded not friendly at all.
“A-I don't remember, Sir. Me ...” The woman's voice was cut off. The next thing that was heard was just a groan of pain from the woman.
“I hate traitors the most. You know not what punishment for a traitor is!” roderyk's growl, accompanied by a groaning sound that grew louder.
Feeling that the woman was in danger, Carlo decided to open the black bag, then removed the mask. The man immediately put it on, then kicked the vent cover open. The door was thrown so hard that it hit Roderyk's back, strangling Adelaide.
Roderyk. The vile man immediately turned around with wide eyes. “You! Who are you?” his jolt. He removed the grip from the poor woman's neck earlier. Roderyk bent down in order to clearly see the figure inside the hole.
“Those little things are mine,” replied Carlo as he tried to get out of the vent hole. The black mask he was wearing had managed to hide his handsome face, making it unrecognizable.
Roderyk squinted his eyes. He watched Carlo who had been standing tall before him. Roderyk observed Carlo from head to toe. “Sadly, I didn't carry a gun when I got in here. If I were to hold my beloved gun, I can confirm that your head must have been hollow from before you made it out through the ventilation passageway!” he said with a cruel highlight.
“That means I'm lucky, Mr. Lenkov,” said Carlo still looks calm. He walked over to the middle-aged man with no burden at all. However, Carlo still maintained his vigilance. Although Roderyk said that he was unarmed, it did not mean there was no other threat to the head of the Red Wolf Clan.
While Redoryk immediately clenched his hands while taking a swing to attack. “Say! What's your purpose in entering my private room?” snarl. At that moment, Carlo saw an extremely ferocious highlight, like a starving wolf at the sight of tender prey in plain sight. However, Carlo did not immediately answer. He stared for a moment at Adelaide, as if gesturing for the young maid to come out of the room.
“Come out, Waiter! Don't let me change my mind!” roderyk's jolt was able to instantly grasp the meaning of Carlo's body language from behind the mask that Miabella's husband wore.
Adelaide turned around. He ran as fast as he could from the dimly lit room. He did not want to get into another problem, by being a dead horn between the battles of two elephants.
“Now, tell me what you want!” Roderyk's tone still reflects how ruthless the character's old friend from the late Nikolai Volkov. “What do you want? The money? A gem? I'm not sure if you're just a prankster tired of living and hoping to die at my hands?” cecar Roderyk kecing.
“I don't want any of all the options you mentioned earlier, Mr. Lenkov,” Carlo replied still with a calm attitude and intonation.
“If that's not all, then what do you want? Don't waste my time! You know that there's a surveillance camera here! In less than five minutes, my bodyguards will find out where the intruder is. They must have mercilessly slaughtered you!” threaten Roderyk's. Her irises glinted sharply towards Carlo. Roderyk could not bear to immediately finish off the young man in front of him.
“Good. However, before that let me ask," said Carlo again who looked undaunted at all. He returned Roderyk's sharp gaze to her. "What happened on June 19, 1980 in the Black Room inside the Red Wolf Palace, Mr Roderyk Lenkov?” One question from Carlo that made Roderyk immediately jerk. His face also changed.
“Whatever I am, it is not ...” Carlo had not yet finished his words. The man immediately looked at the door. Some of the guards, who had learned of a riot in the master's room, charged in with sharp weapons, then pointed them at Carlo.
However, the head of the Red Wolf Clan had prepared in a cautious manner. He took out a painting from the wall, then threw it at some of the guards earlier. At least, it can slightly shift the concentration of those who are directing the weapon.
In such a situation, Carlo quickly attacked one of the guards closest to him. It was not difficult for Adriano's son-in-law to take down the gunman. Now, a dagger he had managed to snatch.
“Stupid! I want the intruder alive. Drag him to the Death Room! One more thing, do not let my guests feel disturbed because of this rancid whim!” Roderyk. After ordering this, the man came out of the room.
Roderyk was already very confident that his men would be able to capture Carlo and bring Nikolai Volkov's youngest son to the Death Room. The Death Room itself was a special room, where there was a lot of equipment to torture people who were considered guilty by Roderyk.
After Roderyk passed, the rest of the guards immediately launched an attack on Carlo in succession. Carlo, who used to get used to fighting relying on martial arts, did not find it difficult to deal with those who numbered far more than him. He used whatever ornaments were in the room as weapons, other than the dagger he had snatched earlier.
Some of the guards had been successfully subdued by Carlo. However, their numbers seem endless. Carlo has to get out of that room. The tail of his eyes was fixed on the air vent door. However, one of the officers cleverly closed the hole immediately. Inevitably, Carlo chose to escape through the main door.
While continuing to face Roderyk's bodyguards one by one, Carlo moved closer to the door. He fended off every lunge directed at him, and not infrequently counterattacked. However, it was fortunate that Carlo was finally able to get out of the room despite his great effort. The number of people he faced was not comparable to him who was alone.
Carlo has made it out. He is now in the corridor. But the threat is not finished. Other guards returned, adding to the rest of what Carlo had defeated. Not only that, from the back came several other guards who were ready to attack. However, according to Roderyk's orders. The guards did not use firebombs, having to capture Charles alive.
“Ah, shit!” grunts Carlo. As powerful as he had, but still the man felt overwhelmed. “How to mia!”his Carlo is full of emphasis. Apparently there was a small object attached to the clothes he was wearing. It was connected directly to the earpiece Miabella wore and hidden behind the hair that covered the left ear of the beautiful woman
Miabella soon catches the voice of her husband. He who was talking to Vlad, could already conclude that Carlo was in trouble. The young lady also made herself look calm. “Sorry, Vlad. Excuse me first,” said the beautiful woman. He's turned his body around. Miabella intended to leave in the presence of the blond man earlier.
But it's not that easy. Suddenly, Vlad grabbed Miabella's hand and made Carlo's wife's move restrained. “Can I know where you're going, Bella?” vlad asked, raising one eyebrow. The eyes of the blue-eyed man looked very strange, making Miabella feel something unusual. Especially when Vlad gets a call from someone. The handsome gondrong-haired man was getting tighter and tighter gripping onto Miabella's wrist.
Roderyk himself is now on his way to the secret room, while contacting Vlad who is still in the party hall. “Close all access in and out of the mansion, Vlad! There was an intruder who got in here. Most likely he is a member of the Red Wolf!” her word.
“Is that true, dad?” Vlad's originally cheerful expression, turned tense. Closely she stuck the mobile phone in her ear, nodding occasionally. Look at her eyes can not be separated from the beautiful face of Miabella. “Nona de Luca, wife of Karl Volkov is also still here with me.” Vlad continued.
“Hold him! Take him to the basement and don't run away!” tell Roderyk before ending his call.
