Gilang and Tia walk hand in hand along the shoreline, holding hands and enjoying the gentle breeze, sometimes Gilang berahili Tia by pretending to push her to the waves that break the edge of the beach. Tia had to roll up her jeans so as not to get wet due to Gilang's sudden prank.
“Why don't you tell me, even today you remain silent.” asked Gilang as they were still walking slowly along the beach.
“Hmm? What is it?” tia asked confusedly.
“A few days ago exactly two weeks ago you and mama chose all our wedding preparations, right?”
“Betul. Is there anything that is not to your liking?”
“There. Your dishonesty that I dislike.”
“I? Not being honest with you? I never lied to you though, Lang.” Tia now stopped her steps and looked at the figure of the man standing before her. He thought about what made Gilang think he was lying.
“Why didn't you tell me if mom forced you to pay for all the necessities of our wedding party?”
“What mom says if she forces me?” ask Tia again.
“No. But from the story I heard, I'm sure that mama must have forced you. Because there was no talk about this before.” Gilang invites Tia to walk towards a shady place.
“Can it be canceled? What if we had a simple wedding. You shouldn't have paid for it, it's my responsibility. But I can't afford to pay that much.”
“That's all mama's wishes, Lang. I'm just like you, I want a simple party. But mom wanted a very fancy party. And I can't resist it.” Tia secured her sitting position under a shady tree.
“Honestly I was very surprised to find out if I had to pay for everything. But after some thought, I don't want to look for trouble with my mom. I want to live comfortably with my mom and Gaby in that house. They are also my parents and my little sister.”
“But that big money we can use for your other needs.”
“Already Missed, everything has happened. We just live through what already exists. And organize the future.”
“Did mama also ask you to stay at that house?”
“Iya. We have to stay because Mama and Gaby are both girls. There is no other man to look after her but you. So I can't possibly monopolize the only boy in the family.”
“You're an amazing girl. At your new age of 25 years, but your maturity is amazing.” Gilang rubbed gently Tia's hair.
“Do not hesitate to complain and tell me if in the future mom or Gaby overreact to you. You should know, if I'll always be there for you.”
“Thanks, Lang.” Tia showed her most beautiful smile.
“Oh, yes. Tomorrow Monday can I pick you up? I'll go to the office to give you an invitation.”
“Is that the invitation? So fast!”
the “WO we wear is just right. Bu Ajeng is very professional. From the building and everything is ready. Tomorrow Sunday we will try clothes for our wedding later.”
“Oh, worth it. Yesterday there were some people who came to the house to make sure the final results of the clothes that will be worn by mama, Geby and also the cousins. You should know if yesterday was very crowded at home. Good thing last Friday I was working, but I was able to figure it out when Gaby made a video call when an uproar occurred at home.”
“Hemm . . . Are they already dressed? Why didn't anyone tell me? I would also like to get together with other families.” Ask Tia.
“Don't be sad. You will also meet them all, and have plenty of time to get to know them. My other family home is not far from my house.”
“I'm not sad, as long as you're by my side.” Tia pecked at the back of Gilang's hand.
