THE CHOICE IN MY LIFE

THE CHOICE IN MY LIFE
SECTION 60

It has been almost three weeks that Tia and Rio have not greeted each other or spoken outside of work. And during that time Rio still continues his new habit of following Tia when he comes home from work. Rio felt worried for Tia in case of a no-no during the trip. Especially overtime, like tonight. It took a few minutes for Tia to get a taxi because the bus was not operating this late.

As Tia got out of the taxi and walked towards her house, Rio parked his car on the side of the road for 5 minutes, and after being convinced that Tia was okay, he'll turn the wheel around and turn around to go home. But just a few meters away Rio left the Tia area, his phone rang and Tia's name was plastered on his screen.

“Halo? Tia?”

“Release! Help u! Emmmm .. .. emmmmm.” Tia's cry turned into a stifled voice as it closed its mouth.

Not thinking long, Rio directly slammed the steering wheel to return to the direction of Tia's house. In a hurry, Rio parked his car on the side of the road recklessly. The handsome man ran over worriedly.

“Tia! Tia!” feeling his call not responded, Rio broke down the door of Tia's house and found Tia who had been restrained by two young men and her mouth was gagged with cloth. More to make Rio ride the apoplexy, he saw Tia crying in silence because of what she experienced and only underwear attached to her body.

“I'll kill you all!” Rio ran towards the two young men and instantly presented the raw bogeman. Rio beat them both blindly.

“Stop, Rio! You can kill them!” Tia tried to hold Rio's body to stop immediately because the two young men were already unconscious.

Rio quickly picked up the blanket from Tia's room and covered Tia's body with that blanket. Hearing the crowd coming from Tia's house, some of the residents started to huddle up and see what was happening.

After a few minutes, the police came to Tia's house because there were residents who reported the incident that night. The police took the two perpetrators to the police station and asked for information from Tia. The beautiful woman answered all the police questions while stammering and her body trembled violently due to the fear she still felt.

“Thank you, Ms. Tia for the description. We will do our best for the sake of justice. We say goodbye first. Good night.” The four policemen said goodbye and returned to the guard station.

“Mbak Tia, how is it?” ask the neighbors of Tia.

“I'm fine, Bu.”

“Yuk mbak, enter the room first and change his clothes with warmer clothes.” Bring the other neighbor's mother.

Some of the neighboring mothers empathized with Tia and almost all of the residents condemned the actions of the two young men. They even felt grateful that Rio had beaten her up, as some parents who had daughters were also sometimes made to fret over the actions of the young man who became the suspect.

“I'll take Tia to a safer place, Mom. I think Tia would be scared if she was in this house alone.” Said Rio to the mothers who were still surrounding Tia.

“Oh, yes Mas. Please take care of Ms. Tia. Kasian, his body is still begetar.”

“Good, Mom. Thank you for calming Tia.”

“Emm . . If you can know, this Mas ready Mbak Tia?”

“I'm his office friend Tia, Bu.”

“Oh yes, yes. I should have seen Mas deliver Mbak Tia once, right?”

“Betul, Mom. So I'd like to excuse you now. It's late too. Ladies and gentlemen please continue the break.”

“Be careful yes, Mas.” Tapping some of the fathers who were outside Tia's house. They slowly went back in and of course were still talking about what had just happened.

“Come, Tia. Just come to my house. There will be safer.”

Tia followed Rio without saying anything. Rio was just packing up the scattered Tia bag and carrying it. Tia continued to be silent on the way, mentally shaken, she never expected if she would get a disaster like the one she had just gone through.

Arriving at home . . .

“Sit down, I'll make you a warm drink.”

When Rio had returned with a warm drink in his hand, Tia's cry broke out. She cried and let out all her fear, Rio hugged her and tried to calm Tia down. Tia's crying voice felt so heartbreaking, never had she heard someone cry this much. Rio also felt the sadness that Tia felt. The man patted Tia on the back to calm her down.

After quite a long period of crying, unknowingly, Tia fell asleep from exhaustion. Slowly, Rio held Tia up to the upper floor, and placed Tia's body slowly on the bed. Rio vividly remembered Tia's expression as he saved her. On his face was a huge fear. If he remembered that, his anger resurfaced because he remembered he did not directly hit the two young men he met when dropping off Tia the first time. Yes, the two indecent young men who said that made Tia have to feel an unpleasant incident.
