THE CHOICE IN MY LIFE

THE CHOICE IN MY LIFE
SECTION 97

Tia walked down the beach that has white sand and soft, around the beach lay towering coconut trees, and in front of it there is an amazing landscape. Palawan Beach is located on the south side of Sentosa Island. This place has a beautiful view and is perfect for calming the soul. But not so with what Tia feels, the beach makes it back to the past. His heart ached when he remembered his friendship with Rio on Raja Ampat first, where he finally gave his soul and heart to someone who had become her husband. Tia swore in her heart if she chose the wrong place because it made her fall with beautiful memories with her husband.

“Tia!” call someone from a distance. Tia turned her body to look at someone who knew her in this foreign country. Tia had to narrow her eyes to be able to focus on seeing the face of the person who called out to her, faintly starting to look as the person approached.

“Call? How can you be here?”

“I was just walking around unwind. I didn't expect to meet you here.”

“You are sure that our meeting was a coincidence? Not because you were following me on purpose?”

“No, no, Tia. Don't misunderstand me. I was also accompanying Gaby in Singapore.”

“Then where is he?” tia asked as she accompanied Gilang who started walking next to her.

“He's at Mounth Elizabeth Hospital. She's sick, Tia.”

“Gosh. What pain is Gaby, Lang? How is he doing?” Tia still feels worried even though her former sister-in-law also helped destroy her life.

“There's a tumor in her womb. All the doctors in Jakarta advised to remove her uterus so that her life could be helped. But Gaby doesn't want it. She wants to keep having a uterus so she can contain the seeds of her bastard husband.” Gilang's hands clenched firmly holding back the anger.

“Gaby is married? And why do you hate Gaby's husband?”

“He was married two months ago. And when she learned of Gaby's illness, she immediately backed off and filed for divorce. Gaby is getting worse and it's worsening her disease. So this is where he struggles to keep his wish.”

“Mama is with him. You're not mad at him, Tia?”

“Who? Gaby?”

“I know if Gaby used to be a frequent denigrate to you. Because . .”

“Because I can't get pregnant yet? Yes, I did get angry at everyone Gilang. But my anger can't bring back a time when I was happy before I knew you. So I decided to take it and forgive everything. But fortunately Gaby did not get worse treatment from her husband.” Tia tried to insinuate the man next to her.

“I'm sorry, Tia. I'm really sorry, really sorry.”

“Already Gilang, everything has also passed.” Tia stopped her steps and looked at Gilang for a moment. “Then I go back to the hotel. I want to rest, my body is tired.”

“Tia, wait!” Gilang stopped Tia who started to step away, “Can I take you? I just want to make sure you're safe until your destination. This is a foreign place to you anyway.”

“No need. I know the direction of the hotel.”

“Tree. Right now only.” Gilang started caving.

Not wanting to make a fuss, Tia finally agreed to Gilang's wish to deliver him. They walked in tandem sweeping the sand of the beach that was getting cold as the sun started crawling down. Tia actually still felt the deep heartache of every ex-husband was near her, but at this time a more severe heartache was hitting her heart, making her slightly forget her hatred for her ex-husband. Moreover, her sister was seriously ill, Tia as a woman also felt pain and sadness because Gaby's disease was related to her uterus.
