The Exchanged Bride

The Exchanged Bride
Pick up

It was late afternoon, Haira cleaned up all her belongings and prepared to go home. He checked his phone, but there were no messages or calls from Aiden.

Haira rushed out and ordered a taxi online. But when it reached the outside of the building, Haira was surprised to see Aiden was sitting sweetly on his motorcycle.

Haira immediately canceled her online taxi order. He approached Aiden and asked, "Aiden, why don't you call me first?"

"I've called your father-in-law and asked you for your return hour. Are you waiting for my call?" ask Aiden.

"No, I'm just surprised I'm suddenly here."

"Yes, come on!" take Aiden.

They also drove on motorcycles across a highway that was already crowded with motorists. Of course they are stuck in traffic, but because they ride the bike, they can overtake any gap to avoid traffic jams.

While crossing a meatball stall, Aiden asked Haira. "Do you want to eat meatballs?"

"I've never eaten such food, let alone on the roadside" Haira said.

"Well, if you haven't, then you should try." Aiden turned the handlebar of his motorbike into a small stall on the side of the road.

The motorbike was parked and they entered the shop.

"Mang, meatballs two bowls yes!" said Aiden.

"Ready bang" said the meatball.

Five minutes later, two bowls of hot meatballs were presented in front of them. Haira smelled the very appetizing aroma of meatballs.

Aiden poured his sausage, milled cayenne pepper and sweet soy sauce into his meatball bowl. Haira also followed the way Aiden poured the dose of sausage, chilli and soy sauce earlier.

After feeling enough, Haira immediately ate it. Want how else, he was already hungry and the smell of meatballs was really appetizing.

One mouthful, Haira was instantly dumbfounded. I never thought it would taste so good. He also tried a small round object called a meatball.

"Hmmm it feels so good." Haira felt a taste sensation that spoiled her tongue.

Bribe by mouth until finally the bowl of meatballs was empty. "Jeez, this time I've been eating such good food!" exclaiming Haira.

Aiden could only shake his head at it. Haira's expression was the same as when she first ate meatballs. It was his first day disguised as an ordinary person. She tried all the roadside foods to deepen her role.

And this meatball stall became his place to eat street food for the first time.

After they finished and paid, they continued their journey home. However, in the middle of the road Haira saw a playground that contained two boys and girls.

"Aiden stop for a second!" haira exclaimed as she patted Aiden's shoulder.

Aiden immediately stopped. Haira came down and entered the garden. The two boys and girls were seen playing swings and pushing each other. Not far from them there are two sand castles that like his just finished they made.

Haira smiled broadly at her look.

Aiden was surprised to see it. Does Haira remember their childhood? No, he's got to make sure first.

"What's wrong?" ask Aiden.

"Nothing, it's just that my heart was so happy when I saw the children playing sand castles in the park and swinging each other pushing," Haira said, staring at the two children.

"I don't know either. I was just happy and happy when I saw such a moment" Haira explained.

Aiden was silent for a moment. It turns out Haira's memory hasn't returned. But he smiled because he saw Haira so happy.

"Is it done? Let's go home before sundown" Aiden asked.

"Yes, let's go home" Haira said.

They also drove back on their bikes. But their pace stopped when they were at a traffic light that was red.

Suddenly...

"Sister!" shouted someone from the right of Haira.

Haira turned her head and it was Resya who was driving her luxury car. Haira just kept quiet and looked back to the front and tried not to care.

Aiden also turned his head and acted the same as Haira. Resya is nothing more than trash.

"Hi brother, isn't it better to go anywhere by car?"

Haira was silent.

"Look, this is the car that Ziko just gave me. He's very nice huh. I am rich, love me too. Well lucky I am. How's your poor life now?" Resya was still chattering ria. Even the driver began to get uncomfortable with Resya's mouth like cayenne pepper.

Haira could not hold back her patience anymore. He hugged Aiden's body warmly. "I'm happy too. Is it your husband who loves you? My husband loves me too. I don't care if simple life is important our family is happy. Even he ate my cooking instead of waiter's cooking. Hah, it's useless to have a beautiful face if you can't serve your husband. It's so sorry."

Aiden understood Haira's intentions, he held Haira's hand which hugged her waist and smiled.

"Sister-in-law, if it's done then shut up. Pity your mouth that is like cayenne pepper, must be tired because it is always used to insult people. If you want to babble again, it looks like your driver is ready to listen. Because we're not interested in hearing it. And one more. I'm grateful I didn't marry you." Aiden smiled at Resya.

Resya looks upset with Aiden's words. "Based on the poor!!" Resya closed the windshield.

Haira looks very satisfied to see Resya succeed in Aiden's silence.

The lights are green and they drive the vehicle.

Along the way, Haira was just a lampoon. He still remembered Resya's words earlier. Her sister. Despite the differences between mothers, they are still one father. Even Haira had never thought about Laras being her stepmother. For him both Laras and Resya are his biological family.

Arriving at home, Haira immediately went down and entered first. Aiden knows how Haira feels now, so he'll leave it alone first.

Haira went to the bathroom and refreshed herself. When he finished, he went to the kitchen to cook for dinner. Because eating meatballs alone is not enough to prop up his stomach until night.

Upon arriving at the kitchen, he sees Aiden cooking his dinner. Haira noticed Aiden's deft hands like the chef of the restaurant.

"Why are you cooking?" ask Haira.

"We are for duty only. Morning you cook and my night. You'll also be tired from cooking after work."

"Oh yeah? Isn't it because my cooking doesn't taste good?"Haira looked suspiciously.

"Yes, that's the second reason" Aiden said with a smile.

Haira slightly swept her lips. Yet it was only for a moment when he smelled the scent of Aiden's cooking. He wanted to eat it now, but the sun had not set. Basic Haira.
