The Exchanged Bride

The Exchanged Bride
Bonus Chapter - Interruption

"Darling, come on quick." Aiden called out to Haira who was dressing up in front of the mirror.

"Patience, dear."

"That's it, there's no need to dance. Want to dance or not, you're still the prettiest."

"No, I want to look perfect in your eyes. Don't let any more syaitons try to tease you. Indeed, Naumi is gone from our lives. But that doesn't guarantee that another Naumi Naumi will come."

"You know baby, you're the only one I've loved since I was a kid. Wherever I might turn. With you I am happy. Come on, come here. I'm impatient." Aiden patted the side of the bed for Haira to come closer.

"Why not be impatient, anyway."

"I've been fasting for a week. It's time for me to open." Aiden approached Haira who was still dressed and hugged her body which was still sitting in front of the mirror.

"Done, baby. My lipstick will be broken."

"You're why you care so much about beauty, anyway. Or maybe there's a twin sister here, yeah." Aiden stroked Haira's flat, slender belly.

"No, don't just talk. I'm not pregnant."

"When do you want to get pregnant again? I want another child." Aiden began to feel the upper part of Haira's stomach.

"Let go! You pervert!"

"Where is a perverted husband to his own wife. There's just you." Aiden rubbed Haira's cheek and kissed her.

"I don't want any more children. Yeah, not that I refuse sustenance, but I've had enough of the twins. You know their nature is very different. Need extra attention so that our two children can receive each other and get along. If I had another child, my attention would be divided. Moreover, Harry was very happy to judge William. Poor William. Already have a nosy sister, plus another sister."

"You are, always pay attention to the interests of the twins. You're right, William said that too."

"What did he say?" Haira looks curious.

"Yesterday, when I persuaded him, I said to him 'if you keep doing this, then mom and dad will give you one more sister. If it's twins again, then you'll get two more sisters' that's what I said. And you know what he said? 'Dad, no. I have a brother like Harry. Don't add any more, I beg you. All right, Dad, I'm gonna go downstairs again' It's easy to persuade her, isn't it?"

"So she doesn't agree to have another sister? So much of his trauma to his own sister, yes. Why could Harry be this bad? You weren't bad." Haira seemed to think.

"Can't that be it?"

"And do you remember too? You once pushed me into a ditch, kicked my feet while tingling, splashed my body with sea water while I was sunbathing, and worst of all, you once put some shells on my face while I was sunbathing. And after that, my face was like a freak. To bring in the best doctors from abroad so that my face color returns to normal quickly."

Haira was stunned to hear Aiden's words. "Are I really like that? Sorry, I don't remember."

"You don't remember because there's so much mischief you've made."

"Here you go, baby why keep remembering? Do you want to fast again?" Haira smiled meaningfully.

"No, yeah we forget it. Now, let's start the fight tonight." Aiden drew Haira's hand until he stood up and led her up to the bed.

When he was in bed, he immediately did his job. Until the moment they were about to unite, the sound of the door banging messed everything up. Aiden re-wears his clothes as well as Haira's. Anxiety is taking over his heart right now.

He opened the door and saw it was Harry. He took a deep breath and took it out slowly.

"What's up, Harry?"

"Dad, can I sleep with mom and dad?"

"Huh? Sleeping with mom and dad? Butwhy? You have a room?"

"But my room has ghosts, Dad."

"Huh? A ghost? Where's?" Haira approached Harry.

"In my room. Come on, Mom, Dad. Looky for a second. I'm scared."

"It turns out the father's son is afraid of ghosts, yes." Aiden rubbed Harry's head.

"Dad, I'm serious. Please, let me sleep here."

"We go to your room and see what's in there." Aiden stepped into Harry's room and followed Haira and Harry.
