CHAPTER 38 - Special Medicine

"Already, later if Rei is not strong enough to keep the problem a secret he will tell you!" Adelia said as she bribed a spoonful of cake into her mouth.

"Yes, Mommy. But why does he seem to not believe me. He's always been like this!" Zenira said with annoyance.

"What's wrong, you guys just got married. Sometimes your partner is just too worried so he does not dare to tell everything bluntly. Not because I don't believe it!" Adelia's advice sounds reasonable in Zenira's ears.

Zenira took a deep breath and received the cake offered by her father-in-law and began to enjoy it while continuing their conversation.

"Zenira!" Shouted Rei from his room.

Rei sounded in pain in his shout, worried that Zenira had hurriedly left the piece of cake earlier and rushed towards Rei's room.

"Yes, briefly. I'm coming!" Shouted Zenira while walking towards the room.

Zenira opened the door and approached her husband.

"What's wrong?" Zenira asked rubbed Rei's sweaty forehead.

"I'm thirsty, get me a drink!" Pinta Rei who kept sweating coldly.

Zenira rushed towards the dispenser located not far from where he was standing.

"It!" Zenira said while giving a glass of warm water to her husband.

Rei smiled and drank the warm water slowly to the toilet.

"You, don't make me worry!" Rengek Zenira took the empty glass that Rei had given him.

"Yes, it's because I stayed up yesterday. You know it!" Rei said back to lying on his bed.

"What are you thinking, Donk story if there's a problem!" Zenira Pinta.

Rei shook his head slowly making sure he was not thinking about anything, he was just busy at his coffee outlet.

"Yes, then we share the task, not all of you who hold your own. If you're sick, I'm worried too!" Zenira's whisper made her husband laugh.

"You can still laugh, I'm serious." Zenira pinched Rei's hand in a fit of anxiety.

Rei laughed out loud making Zenira so annoyed by it.

"Oh, I'm going to sleep again. Looks like the medicine just made me sleepy." Rei asked Zenira to leave him in the room alone.

Seeing Rei go back to sleep, Zenira went back to the kitchen to continue eating the cake that had been served by her in-laws.

"How are you, Rei?" Adelia asked as she watched Zenira return to the kitchen.

"He called out just because he was thirsty, Mommy. No need to worry." Zenira answered, dropping his buttocks, sitting back where he was.

"That's how Rei always plays like a grown man. But the truth is that his attitude hurts no more than a big, spoiled baby." Canda Adelia asked Zenira to know her husband better.

Zenira laughed he did feel the same way that his mother-in-law felt, while being angry Rei was like a fierce man and no opponent but if he was sick again he often whined for more attention from everyone.

"But it's good to keep an eye on you, Rei. He often falls asleep when dealing with meal times especially when he is busy!" Adelia's Message to Zenira.

Rei was very late for eating especially being busy. Zenira knew that. But perhaps Zenira should keep an eye on her fierce husband.

"Yes, Mommy. I'll watch him 24 hours, don't worry!" Exclaimed Zenira who was annoyed with Rei's attitude.

Adelia laughed and cleaned up her cake plate, she chose to head to the living room because she had already promised her friend for the arisan at her house this afternoon.

Tora faithfully helped Adelia clean up the living room and served some snacks to enliven the arisan this time.

"It's been a long time since I've been with my friends, they must love to see me again." Adelia said and began to busy sending messages to her friends to let them know if she was ready.

It didn't take long one by one Adelia's friends came and started chatting to each other to let go of longing.

"Why did you come in?" Rei complains when he sees his wife coming into the room.

"Your mama's got an arisan downstairs. I don't feel good sitting in the kitchen alone." Zenira said dropping her buttocks sitting on the sofa of the room overlooking the garden behind the house.

Rei did not care and continued his sleep again.

Zenira who was bored with the wait that somehow chose to go to the bathroom and turn on the water faucet in the bathtub, it felt like he had not enjoyed a warm bath all over his body.

Zenira immediately submerged his body in the warm water and began to feel calm.

"Zenira!" Call Rei when Zenira has just felt the effects of her warm bath.

Zenira rushes in a towel kimono hanging behind the bathroom door and approaches Rei.

"Are you in the shower?" Rei asked who saw his wife approaching him.

"Yes, why?" Zenira asked back with a face without a smile.

"You're beautiful in that kimono too!" Praise Rei with a meaningful smile.

Zenira did not understand Rei's smile, he only fell silent as Rei pulled his hand towards the bed and their second honeymoon happened that afternoon.

Zenira wakes up during the day with Rei still sleeping beside her, she does not expect her husband to give her a beautiful day when Rei's stomach still looks not completely healed.

"I took a shower first, yeah. I have to cook for dinner." Zenira's whispers won't disturb her husband's sleep.

Rei simply replied with a smile and seemed unwilling to rush up from his sleep while Zenira rushed to take a bath and went down to the kitchen.

When Zenira came down already invisible arisan mothers in the main living room, it seems they have all gone home, Adelia who saw Zenira down immediately invited her daughter-in-law to cook.

"Thank God, you're still staying at Mommy's house. Mami must be bothered if she had to prepare everything alone." Adelia started cooking their dinner.

Adelia is seen preparing a large pot of chicken soup complete with slices of potatoes and carrots. Zenira is seen helping to cut the vegetables that Tora has peeled and put it not far from Adelia to stand.

"Try on tasting, Zenira!" Said Adelia while offering a tablespoon containing soup sauce that has been seasoned.

"Hemm..this is delicious!" Praise Zenira for tasting the soup.

"Well if it's good, I'll bring it to Rei. He must have been very hungry!" Pinta Zenira while putting a bowl of soup on a tray that was immediately brought to the room for her husband.

Rei, eat first!" Sapa Zenira upon entering Rei's still dark room.

Zenira walked to the side of the wall turning on the light switch of his room and immediately woke Rei up.

"Mmm. My beautiful wife has arrived. I'm hungry!" Rei said as he opened his mouth very wide.

Zenira patiently fed Rei slowly, not wanting to get angry from being too hasty.

After a bowl of soup was exhausted by Rei, Zenira gave the medicine to her husband.
