CHAPTER 43 - The New Man

"Yes, I'm sorry!" Say the driver while lowering his load.

When the big boxes of coffee have been lowered, Alex Rei's friend came to occupy all their promises yesterday.

Rei showed me the coffee he offered Alex..

"look, first. You must like it!" Rei said taking some coffee beans that are still inside the big box.

Alex seems satisfied with the coffee beans offered by Rei.

"This coffee later must be a little sweet, you are really good at choosing coffee!" Praise Alex to Rei who seems pleased with Alex's response.

"Well, then how's the buying process?" Ask Rei.

"I'm going to buy these seven big dus and pay them in cash, once this runs out, I'm going to come back here again to check the coffee that comes later!" Said Alex while pointing towards the coffee beans in front of him.

Rei smiled with satisfaction, right now all he needed was people like Alex who understood coffee and were willing to pay for his coffee purchases in cash.

After agreeing Alex paid for all the items he bought and asked Rei employees to help him raise all the coffee to the pick up car he was carrying.

"Please find me something like this again yes, if successful of course I will not forget you, Rei!" Alex's words made Rei smile with relief.

Alex who had finished buying coffee from Rei rushed away, they promised to meet again after the coffee brought Alex had been sold out.

Rei returned to his office to ask Zenira who was still asleep.

Rei sent WA a short message to his mother but got no answer.

"Where they are, it's important that nothing is answered my message!" Rei muttered annoyedly.

While Rei was still busy with his phone suddenly someone from Rei's past came to the cafe.

"Hi, Rei. You still remember me!" Sapa Devga, the man who suddenly returned before Rei.

"Well, what are you doing!" Rei said annoyed.

"Why don't you like my arrival, I saw Alex when you came you welcomed him with pleasure."

"Of course you're different, Devga. You're this, just piss it off."

"Why are you upset to see me, what's my fault with you. You are this, weirdo!" Devga said as she closed the door of the office where Rei worked.

"Go, I'm reluctant to see your face!" Rei said annoyed.

"What the hell are you?" Ask the man who turns out to be named Devga.

Devga is indeed an old friend of Rei who is also the ex-lover of Rei's sister, Tyra. They had actually broken up from a few years ago but were still on good terms with the Rei family.

"You know what you're here for, you know I don't like you, right?" Rei said with annoyance.

"Why are you doing this, what am I wrong?" Devga asked, who went into Rei's office to talk.

"Let's see, your face always made me think of my late sister, Tyra. Ah you're just pissing me off. Go!" Dispel Rei while slamming the glass in front of him.

"I don't understand you, just now that Alex came you were so friendly to him, but why are you so fierce to me!" Said Devga dropping her ass sitting at the desk where Rei worked.

"Of course he's different, where there's Tyra's memories of Alex. They just never met." Rei tried to divert the conversation.

"What day did you forget?" Devga asked with narrowed eyes.

"What do you want, quickly tell me don't make me curious like this!" Firmly Rei while standing in front of Devga.

"You remember, you used to say I couldn't blow out birthday candles, Tyra because you're her brother that's why I came here." Devga said that made Rei wrinkle his forehead.

"What are you talking about, I don't understand?" Rei said while shaking his head.

Devga walked out of the office where they were talking, then he took a large box from his car. After the box was carried, Devga then went back to Rei's side and put the big box on Rei's desk.

"Open up!" Devga's orders to Rei.

"Ah, you must want to harm me!"

"Heh, how bad is your relationship with me that I have reason to harm my former sister-in-law, Open up!" Devga.

Rei, who was unwilling to open the box, finally relented and opened a large box that turned out to contain a birthday cake with Tyra's writing on it.

Rei fell silent, he just remembered that today was the birthday of his sister who had just died.

"You remember that, Tyra!" Said Rei with teary eyes.

"Of course, even though she's been an ex-boyfriend for a long time, rest assured in my heart that your beautiful sister's name is still engraved!" Devga's whisper took a deep breath.

In addition to remembering today is Tyra's birthday, Rei also recalled that he had once scolded his sister's ex-lover for blowing out Tyra's birthday candle when Tyra was not present at her birthday party. Rei said the one who should have blown out the birthday candle when Tyra wasn't there was him because Rei was Tyra's older brother.

It was for that reason that Devga came to Rei's cafe today, she wanted Rei to blow out the birthday candle for her sister who had just come home that year.

"Do you remember my words that day?" Rei asked as he wiped his tears.

"You asked for it, so of course I'll remember!" Devga said as she lit the candles surrounding Tyra's birthday cake.

After all the candles were lit, Devga asked Rei to pray for Tyra and blow the birthday candle away.

Rei seemed to close his eyes, he then prayed that his sister, Tyra could find a calmness that he did not find in this world.

Finished praying Rei directly blew out the birthday candle with great novelty.

"How about you come back to my Mama's house, she'd be happy to know you came with this cake to celebrate her birthday, Tyra!"

Devga shook her head strongly, actually she knew Mami Rei would be happy because she stopped by her house, but I don't know since Tyra died he was always sad if he knew the condition of the Rei family who so lost the figure of Tyra.
