CHAPTER 46 - Who Did It?

"It seems, ah no way, mas Rei!" Tora's whispers quickly corrected her words.

"Do you think this is the case, Mr. Ridho!" Rei tried to read Tora's mind.

Tora nodded, indeed Mr. Ridho had worked in this house as a driver a few months before Rei worked, but Mr. Ridho was fired because a lot of debt collectors who came to Rei's house to look for him.

Rei who was worried about the debt collectors finally fired Mr. Ridho and will only accept the middle-aged man if his business is finished.

"Mommy, think of her too!" Adelia tries to convince Rei.

"So, where was the last time Rei, you know he lived?" Ask Mr. Suryo the police acquaintance of Rei who participated in this police team.

"Last I knew he was working for a building store not far from this house!" Said Rei trying to remember about his driver who he had not met for a long time.

"Alright, then let me try to find his whereabouts!" Said Mr. Suryo rushing out of Rei's house towards the building shop that Rei informed, which was 500m away from Rei's house.

Arriving at the store that Rei informed, the police immediately surrounded this place. The owner was very panicked because he felt he had never made a mistake that violated the law.

"Good afternoon, sir. This is Mr. Ridho's place of work." Suryo sir once entered the store.

"Right, what's up?" Ask the store owner with a worried face.

Mr. Suryo told about the allegations presented to Mr. Ridho who turned out to be the driver in this place, after hearing an explanation from the police, the store owner said that Mr. Ridho had worked in this store but had stopped.

So where's last, you know where he lives!" Ask Mr. Suryo again.

The store owner admitted that he did not know where Mr. Ridho now lives because a few weeks ago another employee said that Mr. Ridho had a lot of debt and disappeared from his place of residence.

"Well, this accusation could be true." Said Mr. Suryo who was increasingly convinced by Rei's accusations.

"What's wrong, sir?" Ask the store owner who does not know the problem of Mr. Ridho's former employees.

"Look, sir. A house not far from here is a robbery and because of this robbery the homeowner loses money in the safe. Certainly not a random person who can open a safe!" Mr. Suryo said he gave an explanation.

"Right, then sir. Yesterday before he got out of here was also my safe in the dilapidated, unfortunately in this place there is no CCTV!" Firmly shop owners who make Mr. Suryo more confident.

"Don't recriminate, sir." Shouted Mr. Ridho who suddenly came to the store where he used to work.

"Heh, you. If it wasn't you who stole the contents of my safe!" Accuse the shop owner.

Mr. Ridho seemed to not accept the accusation, he continued to evade until Mr. Suryo and his colleagues took him to the nearest police station.

At the police station.

"I'm telling you!" Exclaimed Mr. Suryo who continues to urge Mr. Ridho, a former driver of Rei.

"It's not me, sir. I swear it!" Resolute Mr. Ridho.

"Sir!" Sapa Zenira who just arrived at the police station.

"Eh, mas Rei. This is the perpetrator we've secured, but he won't admit what he's accused of!" Suryo sir said to Zenira and Rei.

"Aren't you the one who stole?" Rei asked again.

"Truly, Rei mas. I know I have been in debt and in search of people but really, mas Rei. I don't dare steal it home, Mas Rei."

Rei was silent, he knew once who Mr. Ridho was, he couldn't possibly lie like this.

"I don't think it's him, Mr. Suryo!" Whisper Rei to Mr. Suryo.

Rei then discussed with Mr. Suryo how they could find the answer in a separate room with the interrogation place of Mr. Ridho.

"Are we going to let go, Rei?" Ask Mr. Suryo to try to convince.

"It looks like that."

"All right, but I'm going to ask my men to follow him who knows there's a bright spot in this case!"

Rei nodded and handed the next process to Mr. Suryo, Rei rushed away and chose to go home because this case was considered to have been handled by the police.

"You sure it wasn't him?" Zenira asked as soon as they got in the car.

"Looks like. He wouldn't be that sure if he was right!"

Zenira sighed, if not Mr. Ridho then who did the theft in Rei's house which was empty these few days, Zenira thought.

Rei went back to his house and asked Bi Emi to clean up his house, he really was sincere to lose the contents of his safe that he had not taken. Rei also has no more accused in this case because Albert who used to always harm and make terror in his life has moved the city.

Dret drett

Rei's phone rang loudly.

Rei rushes to pick up the incoming call, which turns out to be from his mother who called and wants to make sure Rei does not go home to his parents.

Rei assures her mom she will stay at her house for a few days at least until she learns the bright spot of the theft case in her house.

"Rei, it's meal time. Let's eat Bi Emi already cooking for us!" Invite Zenira when he sees Rei has hung up his mobile phone.

Zenira pulled out Rei's hand which seemed still cool sitting in his chair.

"Come, don't be late to eat and you'll be sick again!" Firmly Zenira with eyes sparkling with pleasure.

Rei laughed heartily at the fierce-looking Zenira, he walked towards the dining room and began to enjoy the dishes made by BI Emi.

"Thank you, thank you!" Praise Rei to Bi Emi who is still standing not far from the dining table where they enjoy all the dishes that are very neatly arranged.

Glad to serve, Rei and Zenira!" Bi Emi replied to Rei's praise.

The sleepy Zenira invites Rei to rush up to sleep, and the husband and wife leave the dining room together.

When Rei and Zenira had climbed back into the room, Bi Emi seemed to be contacting someone via his mobile phone.

He laughed with satisfaction and then hung up the phone.

"So you stole my money!" Excited Rei who suddenly stood behind Bi Emi.

Sontak Bi Emi was very shocked but she could no longer avoid what she had just said to the person she had just contacted.
