CHAPTER 48 - The New

The first task of Sopiah is to clean the kitchen furniture and all the dishes that are long unused.

"Good, like that. Just do it gradually. If you're tired you can rest first!" Guide Tora to Sopiah.

Sopiah complied and continued to clean all the dishes in front of him and because he was very proficient all can be done quickly and well.

Tora seemed satisfied with the work of Sopiah, he then took Sopiah to the laundry room to demonstrate how to wash good clothes.

After several tries, Sopiah seems to be proficient in operating all the equipment in the room.

"Well, this one's a steam iron. Here's how it works!" Tora said while demonstrating how to iron the right clothes.

Sopiah initially couldn't but after several tries she was finally proficient as well.

Seeing the results of Sopiah's good work, Tora rushed towards where Zenira was and gave his assessment to Sopiah.

"Good then, so now we can hire him!" Zenira said while checking the work of Sopiah in the kitchen.

Tora nodded. "Hopefully he'll be at home!" Mumbled Tora expectantly.

Since Sopiah was already considered proficient Tora left her at Rei's house and she returned to Ramon's house.

This first day Sopiah was ready to cook lunch for Rei and Zenira.

During the cooking Sopiah seemed to keep throwing a glance at Rei, Zenira who was not comfortable walking towards Sopiah.

"Why do you keep staring, my husband?" Zenira asked in a high tone.

"Sorry, Madam. I didn't mean anything!" Said Sopiah with great regret.

"Why are you, he just looked at me for a moment!" Rei's words calmed Zenira down.

Zenira returned to his seat and continued his lunch.

"Don't do it, kasian. Maybe he just accidentally!" Said Rei while gently stroking Zenira's hair.

Zenira nodded confirming what her husband said.

Lunch is over. Zenira walked to the garden behind his house to just get rid of fatigue.

When he was sitting suddenly Zenira heard Sopiah talking to someone via telephone.

"I think he's the Rei that's got you, Rika!" Sopiah said to her friend from behind her cell phone.

As Zenira was shocked to hear that, he did not expect that there were any problems from Rei's past approaching him.

Zenira walked over to Sopiah who was still busy with her phone connection.

"What did you say!" Zenira exclaimed which made Sopiah shocked.

Sopiah immediately hung up the phone and set her breath to start telling Zenira.

"Explain what you were talking about!" Zenira was getting angry.

Sopiah did not answer he kept silent until finally Rei came because he heard Zenira just kept shouting.

"What's this?" Rei asked confusedly.

"So I heard him call his friend over the phone and say you're the one who impregnated his friend!" Zenira said while wiping away her tears that she could not stand anymore.

"Huh, who? I don't know what you mean!" Rei.

"Rika?" Rei said as if remembering someone from his past.

"Don't tell me you know that woman, Rei!" Zenira said with great anger.

Rei fell silent, he invited Zenira into the room because he knew what Sopiah meant by wanting to see them fight.

"Looks like he was right about, Rika!" Rei said with great regret.

"What?" Zenira was surprised and seemed to start crying again.

"I'm sorry, I was a teenager and I couldn't control my passion!"

Hearing Rei's words Zenira was downcast and very sad, he did not expect after he tried to accept Rei with all the changes there were problems that approached him and hurt his heart greatly.

A speechless Zenira asks Rei to leave her alone in the room, while Rei is seen contacting Tora to tell her what just happened at her house.

"So he still has something to do with, Rika!" Whisper Tora as she arrives at Rei's house.

"Where did you meet him?" Asked Rei in a weak tone.

"He's my neighbor in the village, Mas Rei but I don't know if it has anything to do with, Rika!"

"Yes, it's okay. I've actually forgotten about it, too, Rika. If now anyone brings it up, it's certainly not Sopiah's fault." Rei said with a lowered face.

Tora tries to ask Sopiah if Rika really means Rika who she knows. Indeed Tora also knows Rika who happens to enter before Tora works.

"Yes, sis. As sister nyari assistant I know from, Rika. So he asked me to sign up!" Soopiah.

Tora took a deep breath, she did not expect that the person she was carrying today was actually making trouble in Rei's house which was actually much better.

"But I'm not fired, brother. I need some money!" Pinta Sopiah with great hope.

Tora says she won't fire Sopiah as long as her job is in order and she's no longer bringing up Rika's problems in this house. Sopiah who really needs money promises not to bring up the problems that Rika and her family have long kept in the village.

"Well, you know how Rica is doing now?" Ask Tora wisely.

"Rika is currently married and living with her husband!" Answer Sophie with a smile.

Hearing the news of course Rika will not bring up her past, of course it is only Tora's hope because after all everything can happen.

"How's it?" Asked Rei who had been waiting for the results of Tora's introration to Sopiah.

"Say Rica is married. Hopefully because this will not bring up the past, mas Rei!"

Rei seemed so happy with the news that Tora conveyed, he was unable to see Rika's beautiful body so he could not help himself and everything happened.

"You asked him about his son?" Rei asked who still looked curious.

"Ah, yes. I'll ask again!" Said Tora who must immediately return to the residence of Ramon because his work is still piling up there.

Tora bailed to Rei and rushed home on his motorcycle.
