The Fill - In Boyfriend

The Fill - In Boyfriend
Episode 24

He didn't do it. He nodded towards his house. “Do you have to go home soon? My sister wants a report. I'm sure you'll give more satisfactory. ”

The clock on the dashboard of his car showed ten o'clock at night. I have two hours till curfew. Okay, sure.

We walked towards the front door and Hayden opened it and stepped in. Bec was sitting on the sofa in the living room and he immediately turned off the television and looked between us. "Is that?"

Hayden hugged me. “You will be happy to know that there are many head games played tonight and a lot of jealousy that arises. I'm not sure who's playing all the games or who's the most jealous, but Gia does all the things you made her swear to do. "

Bec looked at me. “OK, now I want to know what really happened. None of this obscure nonsense. "

At that moment an older woman came sweeping the room. Her hair is pulled back into a loose bun, held in pencil. Berton-ton tangled strands of yarn have escaped the setting, causing a wind-blown look. “Hayden, I thought I heard you. I need your face. "

"Mom, I have a friend." Hayden pointed at me.

He smiled at me. "I don't see how this affects anything. You can take him. ”

Bec stood up and followed his mother, who had already walked down the aisle without waiting for an answer.

There is no point in arguing, Hayden said. “He always wins.” He took me to the hall and around the corner. Inside a large room with double doors and hardwood floors there were many paintings. Some are finished and hung, some are half finished, others are blank canvases. One rested on the horses, a large piece of paper covered in splashes of paint on the floor below, as if someone had left it right in the middle of the painting. We all entered the room.

“By the way, this is Gia, Bu.”

"Oh, sorry, where's my manners?" He extended his hand to me. I'm Olivia. I'm sorry for stealing this kid, but I need her pretty face. I mean, tell me that faces don't inspire creativity. "

Both Hayden and Bec rolled their eyes.

“He says that every time he pulls us here and then he creates things like that.” He pointed to the face painting of a half insect half zebra that was split to reveal a blossoming flower. My face doesn't inspire that.

"It really worked" his mother said.

"He's lonely here" Bec said.

“My kids mock me, but they are my inspiration.” He was watching me at the time. “I think you can be my inspiration too. Your bone structure is amazing. "

"Don't let him fool you" Bec said. “What he means is he wants to paint bones. Maybe a dinosaur bone or something when he looked at you. "

Olivia didn't seem to be offended by the banter. He just laughed and started painting while Hayden sat on the bench in front of him. By the way he learned it, it seems like he was using her as a model, but I could see her canvas and it was definitely not Hayden.

Bec staring. “So spilled. Tell me everything that happened tonight. ”

I glanced at their mother, not too sure I wanted to admit the act of lying in front of her.

"My mom already knows" Bec said. "And even though he doesn't forgive her, he can understand why our immature brains might feel the need."

“You misquoted me, Rebecca. I said that revenge was the result of a misguided emotion, but I also had a bit of Eve-related emotion. "

“You didn't say 'misguided,'” said Bec loudly. "I specifically remember you saying 'unadult'."

“Maybe I said 'backward.'”

"The same thing" Bec and Hayden said.

Olivia applied a wide swipe of sea-blue paint to her canvas just under the twisted purple eyes already painted there. My point is that revenge is never the answer.

Yep, yeah. Bec waved his hand at his mother and then looked at me. “So, tell us about revenge.”

I looked at her mother and wondered if she was upset because they were fighting. He doesn't seem to care at all. "Okay, so Eve was there with Ryan."

I'm nodding. "But you're right, he wants Hayden too."

"He didn't do it" Hayden said.

"Then why is he holding you and sitting so close and putting his hands on your feet?"

“She put her hands on your feet?” Bec's expression became harsh.

"He did it?" Hayden asked.

"Oh, please," Bec said. “You know he did. Don't try to be innocent, Hayden. And you might like it. ”

Hayden had just met his gaze with a flat expression that I could not read.

"So please tell me that you're replying to him" Bec said as he looked at me.

“There's holding hands and hugging. We dance. ”

"And Gia jumped on me" Hayden said.

I jerked. His mother turned towards me.

"I'm not . . sort of. It was an accident. I didn't mean to drop you. "

"Tell me he saw," Bec said with a smile.

"He did it."

Bec spun around in a circle once, his arms outstretched, then he grabbed me by the shoulder and shook me. "You're Amazing. Revenge is incredible. "

Olivia cleared her throat.

"Because I have a very, very immature brain" Bec added.

"Tomorrow we'll all be better people" said Olivia, who was about the same as Hayden had said before. I caught his attention and he nodded once.

A better person. The way they both say it makes me want to try.

CHAPTER 17

Hayden slid off the bench.

"Where are you going? I haven't finished being inspired, "said Olivia.

Hayden directed Bec to the bench in his place. “I have to take Gia home. He's been fed up with our crazy family for one night, I'm sure. "

"Goodbye, Gia," Bec said. "Thank you for doing everything I asked."

Looks like he said it to remind Hayden. . . or me . . that tonight is acting, not real. Hayden doesn't need to be reminded. He has put on the perfect show.

Olivia hugged me without using her hand decorated with paint, pressing her wrist against my shoulder. "It's nice to meet you. I'm serious about the bone structure. Come back and meet me. "

I smile.

"Dinosaur bones" Bec said as Hayden and I left.
