78. Cupboard

Grandma shook her head slowly looking at the contents of the bed sheet cabinet in front of Bi Inah's room. The contents of the closet look messy with an unkempt look. Also seen in the closet is a spider web that must be cleaned immediately. Seeing that, Grandma immediately approached Bi Inah to clean up the old closet.

"Bi.., later please finish the bed sheet cabinet huh Bi. I saw that the contents were a bit messy, later please also clean the cobwebs in the closet, so that the bed linen and pillowcase are not dirty...",

Grandma approached Bi Inah who was cleaning up the remaining ingredients she had prepared for lunch.

Bi Inah had brought all those pillowcases and dirty bed linen to the tub where the clothes were dirty. And now he was in front of the old closet and slowly opened the door. The sound of a loud squeak from the hinges of the closet door that has rusted is quite disturbing hearing that is not young anymore. He took two sheets of bed linen and some new pillow cases and bolster pillowcases for Papa and Aunt Alin's room.

"The white water pot is running out Bi Inah, please a new water teapot yes Bi.", Giman pointed to the side of the kitchen.

"Oh yes Man", Bi Inah filled the white water from the jug to a new teapot that was still empty, then handed the teapot to Giman.

"Today you take care of Man?, I think Najim is the one who is guarding today..",

"Yes Bi, Najim is still busy at home taking care of Mom, the mother's condition has not healed properly.."

"So yes", they engaged in a short conversation until Giman returned to the outside of the kitchen with a new pot of water while Bi Inah returned to the old cupboard.

The dinner session went on as usual. During the dinner, Grandma had time to reprimand Papa and Aunt Alin to change their own bed linen and pillowcase without having to be told again by my grandmother, or have to ask the housekeeper to replace it. Although at home they have a house assistant, Stairs, Bi Inah, Grandma still reminds them to do it themselves because it is a home task that they have to do themselves.

After dinner, Papa immediately sat in the living room to wait for Giman's arrival at noon. While Aunt Alin and Grandma sat in the living room in followed by Bi Inah to the family room after she finished washing all the cutlery in the kitchen. They watched the television show as usual and suddenly Bi Inah spoke to Grandma about the bedsheet and pillowcase.

"Well, I'm fine if I have to replace Bed linen and pillowcases for Engkoh and Cici.", Bi Inah spoke half whispered to Grandma who only looked frowning.

"It's okay Bi Inah. They were already big, had to be able to tidy up their own room, even though there was Bi Inah here.", Grandma remembered that it seemed like the two children were already very accustomed to the existence of household assistants in this house, Grandma does not want them to be a dependent person with all the conveniences available. He wants them to be independent and start by doing simple little things, such as cleaning the room and changing the bed linen and pillowcase themselves.

"Well Well, I understand...",

Papa who had finished his business with Pak Tani's son finally joined the others in the family room. Then, papa asked Bi Inah for help to make herself a fresh warm tea for him.

Papa and Aunt Alin came out of the kitchen door and the clock showed ten o'clock in the night, it was time for them to rest. Grandma had first returned to her room, while Papa and Aunt Alin had already entered their respective rooms after going to the bathroom earlier.

The last Bi Inah out of the kitchen locked the door. Bi Inah who turned around from the kitchen door, he had noticed an old cupboard containing bed linen and pillowcase that he had finished the day. The rusty old closet door on its hinges suddenly opened slowly on its own. Grandma once told Bi Inah that this closet is not in the key, only closed manually because the key part is long broken, after all the contents of this closet is only bed linen, pillowcase, pillowcase, and the mosquito net only, so the grandmother thought there was no need to fix the key from the closet. The old closet door continued to open slowly accompanied by a quite disturbing creaking sound. Bi Inah was astonished to see something strange in the closet, she closed her mouth and held back the shock and fear at the same time. A disembodied head with a face half shattered hideously was seen grinning with reddish eyes that glared sharply towards Bi Inah. The monstrous head with long hair was a careless mess that made it look even scarier.
