The Incomplete Love

The Incomplete Love
Kika Ayang Iwu …

“Father, Mother, introduce my name Mikala. It looks like the son of the missing Father and Mother is my sister ..”

Mikala's voice trembled, in her eyes was a look of worry and sadness. Hanna and Dicky feel the truth in every word.

It is not the truth designed like most people who claim to have Malika and ask for a transfer of some money. Hanna and Dicky are already full of people who are just taking advantage of the situation for profit.

Mikala kept her head down. His hands are squeezing each other. Tears escaped to her sunburned cheeks.

“Whose are you here, son?” Hanna asked softly. Although his heart was shortened, he wanted to get to know Mikala further.

“Self, Mom. I'm walking from Godongdalem.”

All who hear are wide open. Godongdalem is located far from the house of Dicky and Hanna. Take a long vehicle, especially on foot. They were all filled with Mikala's intentions.

With his heart racing, Dicky tried to calm down and asked.

“How can you say our son is your sister?”

“Because Mikala looks like Father. I can't see Mom's face because it's veiled,” Mikala replied, looking down.

“Then how can our child be with you?”

Mikala gulped, this was a question she was so afraid of because her mother never told her the truth.

“My mom found Malika in an empty house, then took her home. I didn't know who to hand over to, so Malika was taken care of until now. We also named Malika ..”.

Hanna clasped Dicky's hand. The collapsed Asa began to awaken.

“Does your mother know you're here?”

“No, Mom. I beg you, if Malika is the real daughter of Father and Mother, do not arrest my Mother. We have no one else but Mom,” the door is plain.

“If it turns out Mikala is not our child?” Connect Dicky who wants to know Mikala's sincerity.

“Then Mother, me, and sisters will always be with Malika and love her even though she is not a sibling.” Mikala rubbed the tears that occasionally escaped on her face.

“Why did you decide to tell us?” Hanna asked

“Before my Father died, he advised us to always be honest. My mother was a good person, but we were little people who could not avoid being bullied. My mother is afraid of being imprisoned if we report Malika.”

Dicky looked at his wife's face. Their faces were hopeful. So did Aira, Latifah, and Fatimah.

“Mas ..”

Dicky nodded, putting one hand on Hanna's face.

“Mikala, when can we meet Malika?”

***

Lastri is serving three girls who are busy choosing various market snacks. Malika sat down with a henchman while playing a doll not far from where Lastri was trading.

One of the girls joked with Malika who was immediately greeted with a wide laugh chuckling. One of the children immediately grabbed her brother's hand.

Aira, Latifah, and Fatimah try to control their emotions. As sure as it was that the daughter of the mother of the cake and rice merchant was their sister.

Malika laughs just like Dicky. For Latifah and Fatimah, it reminded their mother of the crisp laughter. They both tried to hold back their emotions to not directly hug Malika.

After paying and staying away, Imah said to her brother. “Mbak, his smile is like Mother and Oom Dicky. That's our sister, Ma'am.”

Aira could see her face and her mother in the little boy. Their eyes and nose are the same. If the oblong-faced Aira follows Thoriq, then Malika's face is heart-shaped like Hanna's.

The three girls ran towards the parked car some distance away from the alley of Lastri's house.

“Ma, that's Malika. Aira sure,” said Aira as soon as he got in the car.

“Laughter is like Mother and Oom Dicky,” added Fatimah.

“Oom, Mama, the mother of the trader seemed to be good and dear to Adek, but her house was very crowded,” after Latifah with a lyrical tone.

“Mas, how good is it? We coming now? Hanna's sure Malika doesn't want to be with us. Right now Hanna just wants to see and hug him once.”

Dicky nodded. He hurried out and ran to the door and helped Hanna get out of the car. Hanna's body has been difficult to move quickly because of the pregnancy that entered the age of nine months.

Accompanied by three girls, Dicky and Hanna walk side by side down a slum alley, until they arrive at the house that peddles various snacks.

From far away Hanna observed the house where her son had been. Although very simple, but the house looks the neatest and cleanest. A mother came out holding a child. Joking cheerfully around the boy's neck to laugh.

Hanna shed tears. Malika reminds him of Aira when she was one year old. Aira liked to joke around with Thoriq until he laughed like that.

“Mas ..” Hanna tightened her grip onto her husband's hand.

Dicky's got haru. In the narrow alley Hanna and Dicky are first convinced that they have found Malika.

Walk slowly they approached Lastri. The woman suddenly realizes the existence of Hanna and her family. Her face stiffened, while Malika was still busy laughing and teasing Lastri.

“Wa .. Waalaykumussalam,” Lastri replied nervously. Malika now watches Dicky and Hanna with probing eyes. The boy wanted to know who had interfered with his fun playing with the Mother.

Lastri knows who Dicky and Hanna are. He also recognized Aira, Latifah, and Fatimah who had just been shopping for their market snacks. It's just that now he is worried, whether it is better to maintain or admit that he is not Malika's biological mother.

Malika continued to look at Hanna who was veiled, while Hanna's tears had already drenched her face cover.

“Mmm please, please come in,” invite Lastri finally with his voice shaking from nervousness.

“Ante langis ..” Malika pointed towards Hanna who occasionally sobbed.

“Iya dear,” Hanna replied gently.

“Angan. Mimik grandson,” reply Malika who immediately slumped down from the sling Lastri then ran into the milk storage. His eyes pointed at the milk can, asking Lastri to make it for Hanna.

Dicky and Hanna are now unable to stem emotions. The longing that had arisen was answered already. Malika is their missing child. Dicky who had a soft heart fought hard to hold back the crying. He did not want to confuse Malika.

Hanna frowned when she realized that she looked like a stocky nurse who had taken her child from the NICU.

On the one hand Hanna wanted to confront Lastri, make him confess his evil deeds and ask for his cause. On the other hand, Hanna was stunned at how spoiled and affectionate Malika was to Lastri. So does Lastri who looks soft and loves Malika.

Hanna decided to be nice, anyway if she went berserk it would make Malika afraid.

They sat on the floor after Lastri got rid of the mattress where Maira, Mirza, and Malika were sleeping. She and Mikala chose to sleep on the floor.

Dicky looked miris into Malika's residence all this time. A rented house without a room with a roof made of asbestos so it is hot during the day.

But it seems that Malika does not care as long as there is a Pastri nearby. Little kid

it looked cheerful, even took out a shabby toy and invited Fatimah to play.

His laughter is cheerful, his eyes are sparkling, his speech is not clear but his chatter is not deafness. Similar Dicky.

Hanna and Dicky can't take their eyes off Malika. Aira and Latifah.

“Sorry ..” said Lastri finally. In the midst of her fear, instincts as a fellow mother appeared to see Hanna who looks very missed Malika.

Lastri looked down, unable to look at the netra Dicky and Hanna.

“Sorry I did not directly return Malika.”

“Why, Mom? From the photo above the TV, I saw that I already had three children. Don't you know the feeling of losing a child?” Hanna asked while wiping away the tears.

Hanna said she did not want to make Malika who was busy playing with Aira, Latifah, and Fatimah disturbed. They are only in a hot, narrow 4x5 space.

“I'm scared, Mom. I was afraid of being put in jail. The children's father is dead. Who are my children the same?

Malika turned her head and rushed to Lastri to see the woman known as her mother crying.

“Iwuu anan langis, this is Kika,” he said trying to entertain Lastri. His little hand patted the woman's shoulder.

Hanna was puffed up at Malika's behavior. He felt that there was something odd about Lastri's answer but decided not to ask now.

“Malika .. Malika love same Mom?” Ask Hanna Iirih.

Malika nodded while kissing Lastri's cheek.

“Kika ayang iwuu,” he said with language that is still unclear. The boy then sat on Lastri's lap. One hand plays the hair sign he is getting sleepy.

Hanna looked at Malika with longing. His heart was pinched to see the child who should be spoiling with him instead now leaning on another woman.

He immediately took Malika and brought her home. Hugging and not taking off a child who has been missing for a year. But Hanna thought about Malika's psychological condition which must have been affected because it was separated from the woman she knew as mother.

Malika started to close her eyes. Dicky sees similarities between Malika and Hanna especially during sleep.

Lastri gently patted Malika's butt and in an instant the boy was already sound in her mother's cradle.

Hanna wasn't strong, her tears spilled. Not wanting to disturb Malika, he invites Dicky and his children to

go home.

“Bu Lastri, we need to talk about Malika. For us to see Malika healthy and loved already very happy. Only we hope to soon be able to bring home our son.”

Staring at Malika's smiling face while sleeping, tears escaped from Lastri's face. A year with Malika he already considered her as a real child. But Lastri knew Malika was more entitled to affection from her parents.

Lastri rubbed tears on the cheeks so as not to drip into Malika's face.

“Good, Sir, Mom. I understand ...” he said softly.

Hanna looked away at Lastri hugging Malika tightly. His emotions jumbled between relief and anger. Dicky took Hanna and said to Lastri, “ We'll be here often, Mom. And I hope Mom doesn't hinder us from getting closer to Malika.”

Lastri nodded slowly.
